Our trip was amazing and Mieke was fabulous! We had fabulous experiences that we would not have had without her. I highly recommend allowing her to schedule guides around the cities. The experiences were so much richer!

I had an INCREDIBLE trip to the Galapagos, with major MAJOR thanks to Daniel (and his colleague Alvaro). They took the time to understand me and what I wanted to do (they knew I liked to swim, wanted to see animals, and would be a solo traveler so would need support with logistics, etc) - and then organized an itinerary that solved for all of this. Daniel was always available to help me answer questions and ensure I was set for the next day, and really made me feel welcome. He even left a welcome package for me at the hotel the first night I arrived, with some gifts and a welcome message (and an incredible hand drawing he did himself). My final day I had a 6 hour layover in the airport, so Daniel and Alvaro actually came and picked me up and took me out to dinner as well. I even had an incident where clothes in my suitcase got wet in the rain one day in the Galapagos during transport, and a local person came and picked up my clothes, dried them, and brought them back the next morning. Overall the entire experience was so wonderful, hassle-free, and really nice - I always felt safe, taken care of, and relaxed when it came to thinking about the trip. I had a great time in both Puerto Ayora and Puerto Villamil (Isabel island was really amazing), and also on all the side trips where I benefitted from Daniel's recommendations (e.g., Bartolome Island). The best part is that Daniel made all of this happen on incredibly short notice - I asked to book the trip just one week before I traveled. I'm super SUPER grateful to Daniel, Alvaro, KimKim, and all of the local partner agencies, and I can't wait to meet Daniel and everyone again sometime in Ecuador. Thank you thank you :)

Really loved this hotel. The staff were INCREDIBLY nice, the food at the restaurant was amazing, and the location right on the beach was perfect to take a swim any time of day. Perhaps the only downside was that the roof had a leak so on a rainy night I had to put a towel on the floor where the roof was leaking, but I think this will be fixed. Overall, really happy to have stayed here.

Joel was there for me every step of the way, when needed, both before and during my trip.

This was my first experience with KimKim travels and I couldn’t be more happy with the service provided. Hakim was wonderful and helped me plan a detailed itinerary to my wants and needs. Communication was wonderful before and during the trip, Hakim was always available to answer any questions we had. From the airport pick up to all the destinations in between and at the end of the trip, the tour was great!
Our most favorite part was getting to Merzouga to our camp, which was more then expected. The staff at the camp were super friendly and the food was amazing! The sunset camel ride was a stunning. Driving through the Atlas Mountains was beautiful. Will be referring KimKim travels to family and friends.

We did an 18-day private trip with Morocco Immersion for my husband and myself. Hicham was our driver/tour manager. He was very helpful, polite, detailed, punctual, and very easy to get along with. He was an extremely safe driver and he seemed to want to make our trip spectacular from day one. Genuine concern seemed to come from his heart and our well-being and enjoyment really mattered to him.
Sharon at Morocco Immersion did an excellent job planning our trip and Hicham did a wonderful job executing that plan. The plan that was created was flexible enough to change as needed. All of our accommodations were clean and provided the service rating that we selected (some better, some right at star rating). Breakfast and meals that were included in the plan were put together well. We had two minor events during the trip, but the team immediately made things right. We thoroughly adored exploring the country of Morocco!!

Our trip to Greece could not have gone any better! Angela was helpful from beginning to end. She answered all our questions and solved any issues we may have had. She helped us pick tours that would best fit our itinerary. The guides were amazing for every tour and very knowledgeable. The transfers and drivers everywhere were great! The hotels that were chosen were fantastic! Overall a very stress free experience booking with KimKim and Angela!

Our trip to Iceland was an absolute adventure. We experienced true Icelandic weather with a red storm warning on arrival and the whole range of possible conditions after that. This understandably affected our activities/planned tours but Jenny and the kimkim team did an excellent job communicating with us and updating our trip plan. We received very helpful and quick replies to our questions and felt very well supported throughout our trip. Jenny did a great job spacing out planned tours which made it possible to reschedule things as needed. This also gave us plenty of time to do our own hikes and dive into the Iceland landscape at our pace. I’m extremely glad we used kimkim and know that our experience was better because of the knowledge Jenny brought to our trip plan.

We loved seeing the ice cave. Our only frustration was with other tourists on the tour who delayed the hike and caused us to spend less time than expected at the location.

Amazing trip! We enjoyed ourselves so much with the tour. Nada and Kim Kim make it really personal. We learned a lot from the culture and from the country. It was a 10-day tour but with so many activities it felt longer.
I can only recommend Nada and Emad (guide/driver) to anyone who wants to experience the culture and highlights in Jordan.

Morocco is an amazing country to visit. Wanderlust designed our trip to be packed with fun activities and great accommodation. We were very happy with the itinerary. Their knowledge of the country is fantastic. The local driver and guide that accompanied us the whole time were caring and professional. It was a hassle-free way to travel with 5 kids.

The only reason I gave 4 stars is that I wish the local guides that they outsourced to take us on Medina trips would bring us to fewer demo/shopping experiences. I have been to many big and inexpensive tours in developing countries, where tour guides heavily rely on kickbacks from these shops, which in turn typically charge multiple times more for those run-of-the-mill souvenirs. I understand that this is the eco-system and as long as I knew, I would never bite. I chose "luxury" (and paid that way) when we booked this trip and was hoping for a much more intimate, exclusive and trustworthy experience. We would have appreciated if they asked us "would you like to shop during your visit?" or warned us "if you do shop, it's very common to bargain in this culture", and said something when we started paying some ridiculous prices. When the airline overbooked our flight and we stayed one more day in Casablanca to explored on our own, we found out we paid 5 times more for the Djellaba that we bought in Fes. We also paid about $120 for some spices and soaps, because the "demo" place said they were a "government shop". These tourist traps were not consistent with the "luxury personalized trip" that I signed up for.

Agafay camp is WONDERFUL! The amenities better than many of the glamp sites we have been to in the US. They also include dinner and breakfast, which are top notched! I couldn't believe we were able to enjoy such great hospitality in the middle of the desert! Camel ride was super fun. The desert is rocky, so pictures are not as nice, but I understand this is not the Sahara.

Lorena was very responsive to our questions and concerns throughout the trip. Very helpful to ensure we had everything we needed. The team in Chile was also prompt and informative.

I cannot give a high enough review for kimkim. Our local specialist Jackeline went above and beyond for us in every way and was always there when we had a question or needed something. Our super adventurous and knowledgeable guide Diego made our whole week so fun, exciting, and educational. Our other guide, Alex, was also amazing and so fun to visit Cotopaxi with. We were truly blessed in the team from kimkim that helped us make this trip the best we have ever had. We cannot wait to return to Ecuador.

Thanks to Yassine and Hassan, we experienced things that would have been impossible to find. From visiting a co-op high in the Atlas Mountains learning about Berber culture, to eating delicious meals as very local restaurants, to navigating the medinas, riding camels in the Saraha, everything was perfect! They booked us in incredible riads, made sure we had the best meals, and suggested experiences we would have never thought of. Everything was so well planned there was never a single issue.

I was a little anxious about booking such a big trip trough a website I didn't know, but I'm very glad we took a chance. I had tried to put something together with a US travel agent and it was 3x the price and very uninventive. Working with Yassine turned out to be one of the best decisions I've made (and best vacations we've taken).

We are a well-traveled family of 4. I usually plan our trip itineraries but just couldn’t this time due to work/life. KimKim and Sam to the rescue. I was a bit hesitant but Google Reviews were all good, so I took a chance in reaching out. After the first interaction with Sam, I knew I’d happily let him take care of our 9 day trip.
Prior to the trip, he was great at keeping me informed on ideas and planning progress. He asked questions (and made recommendations) re preferences on hotels and excursions/tours, and then just took care of all of it. From the private transfers to/from airport, COVID tests, train tickets, and tours, it was all done seamlessly for us. When the cloudy/rainy weather caused us to cancel a bike tour in Barcelona and our Costa Brava excursions on a boat and e-bikes, Sam and the tour guides were able to shift to make sure we still had a fun and full day.
The on the ground tour guides were excellent. Teresa, an art historian, was so knowledgeable at the Prado and walking us around Madrid; Samuel had great stories at Montserrat and was a pleasure to talk with; Craig was excellent showing us around the medieval towns in Costa Brava and giving us so many little tidbits at the Dali museum that we’d never have seen or experienced without his info; and Maribel was informative and interesting during our day in Madrid experiencing Park Guell and Sagrada Familia. All of them interacted with our 11& 12 year old boys and made sure to keep them engaged. I even appreciated that our drive to and from the airport (Walter) was the same person to book end our trip with a safe and friendly drive.
The hotels were all 5* with excellent family room setups. I was very impressed.
I can’t recommend KimKim, Sam or the various tour guides enough. We can’t wait to go back to Spain!

We had a trip with Jose and he was amazing! He always went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect for our vacation. He always went the extra mile beyond just the tours from helping with dinner reservations, to booking covid tests, helping book hotels after flight cancellations, everything! We are so happy to have had such an amazing tour guide and would highly recommend him to all our friends and family.

Charlotte was amazing and always responsive on Kim Kim and we will definitely be utilizing Kim Kim for future vacations!

The pre planning was a little bumpy. It took several rounds of explaining and sometimes we felt we were not being understood in our requests. Maybe it was a language barrier or something on my side.
After the few bumps in the road, the execution of the trip was very good. All the guides, drivers, times, hotels were excellent. Both in Egypt and Jordan we had the best time on the ground. Everybody was kind and trying to make us have a great vacation. All the operation was fantastic.
Our guides in Egypt Hesham Nour and Mohammed Kamal were incredible.
Our driver in Jordan, Ali, was also excellent.
All in all a fantastic vacation and a great choice.
Highly recommend Egypt Travel promotions and Beyond travel Jordan as local agents in these countries.

Nothing short of an awesome, awesome trip!
Everyone we interacted with was 5 star++. Each individual really ensured that we experienced everything we had on our list, and there was a bonus...each made sure that we had the opportunity to see/do things we hadn't even thought to mention. Special shout outs to: Bassam our entertaining and dedicated driver who took really good care of us during our six day stay; Nad, our extremely knowledgeable guide who so patiently attended to a myriad of questions at Jerash; Basil, who made sure we got the very most out of our day in Petra; Mustafa, who effortlessly managed our bumpy start due to a split arrival; Samir, who pulled the whole trip together with apparent (at least to us) ease.
Highlights of the trip? Oh, there were so many: "Wheel of Fortune" in Arabic on the hotel television; the well-preserved ruins of Jerash; the Citadel overlooking Amman; a traditional Jordanian meal in Amman's bustling city center; the exquisite mosaics and ancient history in the area of Madaba and Mount Nebo; Petra by candlelight; trekking all of Petra by day; the entire Wadi Rum experience (the beauty of the desert, accommodations in "bubbles" and oh...the delicious entrees and preparation); becoming familiar with Bedouin culture; the incredible Dead Sea; the beauty of the region as viewed during our daily drives.
What a truly special - and extraordinary - experience! Deep gratitude to all who made it so!

We had an amazing trip to Costa Rica!! Olman really understood what we were looking from not only with the various excursions he helped us book, but for the hotels we stayed in as well - right up our alley! Olman took care of everything we needed and ensured we had a great experience. The only negative was that I wished the itinerary listed out which tour company was picking us up from the hotel for the excursions so we knew who to look out for and/or call to check in on status

Plan - Yassine was super responsive and developed a plan that worked very well for us. He struck the right balance between being too hectic vs super relaxed, esp for first time visitor. Picked the right places with the ability to go off plan when required.

Place - Morrocco as country was outstanding. In a span of 2 hours the landscape completely changes. Starting with beach/ocean @ casablanca - 2 hours - High Atlas (magical) - 2 hours Ait Ben Hadddo (medieval looking, unimaginable ) - 2 hours Dades Valley (rich green vegetation with breath taking gorges) - 3 hours Merzouga - Sahara!!! - Each experience is different and amazing

Palate - Food, esp, for a vegetarian was fantastic. We went to shack in Ait BenH, the look of the place was very discouraging but the food was amazing. The salad they served there could match most salads offered in facing Parisian restaurants. Orange/Olives were so delicious, you could live on them for the entire trip. I will not forget the harrisa I had in a small restaurant in dades valley - after that I probably will not have the stuff that they peddle as harrisa in the USA.

People - Very courteous and helpful, my wife and kid felt safe even in the remotest of places.

Iddir - He completely transformed the experience, I would give him 10/5 stars. I would specifically ask for him in our next step. He took care of every aspect of the trip. Outstanding!!!

Hassan - Great guide, although we spent about 4 hours with him, he was awesome.

Only one downside - the accommodation on the last day was not great - location, food, service was good. The room didn't have good A/C. I have provided this feedback which they have acknowledged.
