Srilanka is a perfect destination; combining nature, beach, cultural sightseeing with people welcoming you with smiling faces. Dhanushka put together a tailored tour helping us out until and after the booking for a great honeymoon vacation. A special mention also goes to our driver, Kapila -a true gentleman and the best chaffeur/guide. He looked after us and watched out for our well-being throughout the 10 day period. He was always on time and ready when needed. Would definitely recommend.

I would have chosen a different hotel in Amalfi. The beds were uncomfortable and the room was warm at night. It was not comfortable to sleep there.

I was unhappy with the customer service with the vespa tour company. The tour started late, the restaurant we went to at the end of the tour was not very good. I would have preferred to pick a restaurant in Sorrento.

The tour guide, Leonardo, cut our tour short at the Vatican. He thought it was 3 hours when it was 4 hours. I would have preferred to stay in the Vatican longer because it was rushed.

This was my first trip using a travel company. I've traveled to Europe before and planned everything myself. I don't plan on using a travel company again.

I do appreciate that when we had issues during the trip, Jessica was helpful to get things fixed. However, I think these issues would not have happened if I had planned everything on my own.

From the beginning of planning this trip, Yassine (our trip coordinator) was a huge help. We were able to tailor our trip to our interests and experience unique adventures that we will never forget. Yassine was able to listen to our desires, make great recommendations, and explain the small nuances that really helped up navigate another country and be prepared for all of our events.

Our private driver, Hamza was along with us for the entire 12 days. This was a first time experience for us with an international trip, and how amazing it was. He was not just a driver, he was a point person that was able to help with any in country concerns/accommodations. He went out of his way to make sure all of our needs were met, we really felt taken care of while he was with us. Even more so, we got to know him over the 12 days of our vacation and we truly felt like we made a friend in Morocco. We know that our trip was so special with many thanks to Hamza.

We also had amazing tour guides during this trip, I’d especially like to mention that Hamid (our guide in Fez), and Hassan (our guide in Marrakech), were both knowledgeable, friendly, and of great assistance with navigating not just the medinas, but the culture in Morocco. If we told them there was something we were interested in purchasing, they both really went out of their way to help us with finding high quality products and with the negotiation process that many vendors use.

I loved every part of this trip, I have built memories and relationships that I will never forget. I am so grateful to Kimkim for being a company that I trust (as I’ve worked with Kimkim 2 times in the past) and offering me access to these wonderful experiences.

This was a really unique accommodation, it had a very authentic and traditional vibe. The staff were very friendly and a huge compliment to the chef. The meals provided here were hands down some of the best we had in Morocco! The name, Paradise of Silence, is very fitting. This place is tucked away in a way that helps you feel connected to nature while in comfort. You really did get to hear all the sounds that you never noticed before, from the wind to the trees, it was just magical.

We had a marvelous time on our tour of Morocco. The driver kalil who was with us during our stay was Amazing. He was very professional, patient protective and fun. On every stop we had local guides who were knowledgeable and made the stops interesting. We were 4 travelers really enjoyed our trip in a private comfortable air-conditioned van.We had lots of room and we managed to stop at several places we liked along the way. Overall great tour. I Would recomend a few things for potential tourists. Don't stay at the gorge unless u plan to hike . I would have driven straight to Benn Haddou a wonderful place with great Riad and or an extra day at a road in the Atlas.mountains.or. Marrakesh.the coolest city in Morocco.

The guides we had in Johannesburg and Stellenbosch were all excellent. Itu was our guide for Soweto and the Apartheid Museum. He gave us a very clear picture through his eyes and experience that was both informative and emotionally moving. Mthandeni, who took us to Pretoria and the Cullinan Diamond Mine was also very thorough and had interesting things to share with us. Craig with Capey Tours was a fun guide for the wine country. He captured our idea of how we wanted to experience that. He was also very helpful (and flexible) in helping us arrange for wine shipping.

On the downside, I feel that there were some definite glitches with Moafrika, the agent in Johannesburg. Let me be specific: Itu was supposed to take us to Lebo’s for dinner after our Soweto tour. The address he was given was incorrect. We searched and finally found Lebo’s, but they had no booking for us. This was a dinner that was included in the price of the tour. We went back to the hotel and settled for UberEats. We were supposed to have a private driver for the trip to Pilanesberg, but were on a crowded bus with 20+ people. Lucy did arrange for a driver to pick us up after the game drive.
Finally, there was to be an airport transfer for the other couple joining us. They waited half an hour at the airport and finally called an Uber to get to the hotel.

I say all this not to be critical of Lucy at all. She was very responsive. I just feel that there needs to be better communication of expectations to Moafrika.

Our guide in Morocco was Ilyace and he was outstanding. He had a firm grasp of English, extremely competent, and a pleasure to be around. He facilitated everything we wanted and needed him to do. Without question, we would request Ilyace when we return to Morocco. No hesitation.

Mohanad and Hanna were our city guides in Fez and Marrakech respectively. Both were great and very knowledgeable and gave us wonderful tours and experiences. Definitely a plus to have a guide from the individual city to explain all the nuances and sights that there is to see and experience..

I felt very safe and comfortable traveling the countryside with my assigned driver Yassine. There were countless highlights along the way. I ventured into the blue labyrinth of Chefchaouen. I gazed upon fields of wheat, poppy and roses. I walked amongst the hustle and bustle in the city medinas. I soared above mountains at sunset in a hot air balloon. I drank the culture in large gulps with the help of Rashid and Abdul, 2 very knowledgeable guides I met along the way.

Costa Rica was amazing, the trip that KimKim (Veronica) planned for us was on point. They listen to my requirements and provided the perfect itinerary. All excursion and guides were excellent and our most memorable sites were, 3 volcanos(La Poas, Arenal and Rincon de la Vieja; 7 waterfalls (loved the La Paz Waterfall Gardens and Oropendola - were we were able to swim next to the falls). The view of all the fauna and flowers that Costa Rica has, make you think that you are in paradise. All 3 hotels had great service and supported us in every need( Country Inn & Suites by Radison San Jose; Arenal Spring Resort & Spa(spa services were amazing); and Hotel Hacienda Guachepelin(great location within the Rincon de la Vieja Park). We loved our hot springs within the Hacienda Orosi. We made changes within our trip to add excursions and Veronica worked out the details for us, we loved her.

We had the experience of a lifetime in Morocco. Megan put together a fantastic trip plan and ensured our satisfaction with every element. The highlights for me were the city of Chefchaouen and the Sahara, although our stay in Marrakech at Es Saadi Palace was pretty sweet and made for a perfect ending to the perfect trip.
Unforgettable moments included having tea with a Berber nomad woman named Fatima while on the road to Merzouga as well as meeting and sharing a meal with a Berber family. In the Sahara simply sitting under the stars in the dessert was magical. And of course retiring to our luxury tent at the end of the night was pretty awesome as well.
Our driver Hassan was the absolute best person I could ever imagine spending these 11 days with. He was always looking for ways to make our trip memorable while ensuring our safety and he also showed many kindnesses to the people we encountered as well as to us. We feel we forged a true friendship with him.
I am so grateful we were able to connect with such great people who delivered a trip beyond our expectations.

We had a wonderful time. Rubin was a knowledge, kind, well spoken, service oriented guide. We learned and were so enhanced and blessed by the Mayan teaching, history and culture. The lodge was fantastic. Monkeys, sounds of the jungle and the accommodations we loved! Food was good. Also hit some local spots that Rubin recommended. This made our time even better.. Drivers were also excellent! Lenten and Fernando made the travel easy.

Lots of walking in the forest and up and down stairs. All worth it, but you will be tired after 6 hours. Or, you can opt out.
Rubin kept us going but also realizes that some cannot keep this pace.

Servers at the lodge were trying hard, but many don't speak English. Just be prepared if you don't speak Spanish. One lovely server who could speak some English stepped into translate often.

We will definitely use kimkim again. Could not have done it without them. Guidance was priceless and made for no stress at all.

We just returned from our trip to Italy then onto Greece. The Italy section had been planned for 2021 but fear of renewed Covid caused us to delay the trip. Kimkim was very understanding and worked with us to redo the trip a year or so later. Everything went smoothly and our driver and guides in Italy and Greece were terrific. I can easily see planning future trips with Kimkim.

He made it smooth and comfortable

Our guide Hati was excellent. She was knowledgable and very attentive. She readily adjusted our itinerary in response to our needs and was very accommodating for one of our reluctant travelers :) KimKim made it easy to plan and Berat, our trip designer was extremely responsive and helpful. Two suggestions for travelers--be mindful to plan gratuity for guide and it seems in Turkey, the best way to get TL cash is to exchange US cash--but also can us US $ for gratuity. Wished we had known. Otherwise--all went very smoothly!

Our specialist travel advisor Christine, started planning our trip from a blank slate…. we really didn't know what we wanted to do or see. We had limited days between other pre booked legs of our round the world trip, so a custom itinerary made more sense. We also wanted to travel independently rather than in a group. Christine made this all possible. She made several suggestions which together, we fine tuned, and within a couple of days of emails back and forth we had a firm plan.

The plan included Tokyo, Kyoto and Harkone.

The plan included Japan Rail Pass for our major travel requirements, all hotel bookings, a greeter on arrival at the airport who set us up with pocket wifi, which was invaluable for finding our way in a new country, Our greeter further helped us on our way through the crush of the start of a major public holiday.

Christine made suggestions for what to see in each city and to finish off a wonderfull adventure, a driver to whisk us back to the airport on the day of our departure.

The Hotels Christine booked for us were each of high quality and close to our arrival point in each city, in most cases right at the train station which made traveling by train with luggage so easy.

In summary Kim Kim and Christine made our dream come true.

We enjoyed a 10 day private tour planned by Megan and the tour with Hassan Amraoui. The very best combo! The perfect plan was pulled together by Megan and the best driver Hassan made for a fabulous vacation. We were 2 friends meeting in Morocco for a girls trip to explore the country, and from cities to hammams, to sand dunes and tents, we enjoyed every single thing. High points were definitely sand dunes and the luxury camping at Wanderlust Camp, and we loved Marrakech! We were even sad saying goodbye to our new friend Hassan when we left, he took such great care of us the entire way, we felt very lucky to have toured with Hassan. Cannot thank Megan enough for all her careful planning and to Hassan for the amazing friendship formed on the 10 day tour, we will definitely be back in Morocco and highly recommend working with Megan, Hassan and the team at Wanderlust.

Josh and I thoroughly enjoyed our travels in Costa Rica from May 1 to May 6. We only wish we could have stayed a bit longer to enjoy everything this beautiful country had to offer. We were extremely grateful for the guidance and wisdom of every single person we met, all of whom were gracious and welcoming. From Sergio. who helped us plan our itinerary and found wonderful hotels to stay in, to Charlotte who helped manage our questions while we were there, we felt secure knowing that we were were in good hands if we needed it. Alex, our driver in Costa Rica, was a wealth of knowledge about flora and fauna all over the country and shared numerous stories with us while we drove from one destination to another. It made the longer drives so much more enjoyable and we learned about Costa Rica from a true native. Kenneth was our guide in Arenal and spotted flora and fauna in trees we would have never seen on our own, and he guided us over hanging bridges and to beautiful waterfalls. Roger was another awesome naturalist who led us around Manuel Antonio and helped us take some beautiful photos of hummingbirds, lizards and sloths!

Kimkim was outstanding! The planning process went wonderfully. We felt that the communication was wonderful and that our ideas and things of we wanted to see and do were taken into consideration. The flexibility was also wonderful and we appreciated the effort that went into planning our trip.

The quality of service from everyone we interacted with was outstanding. Our personal concierge was wonderful and very helpful. We had to make some changes and she was flexible and willing to help. We really enjoyed the passion that all our tour guides have for what they do. Our drivers were wonderful and very friendly. They were all very organized, professional, on time, and helpful.

Our highlights or stand out moments were: Lake Como and Bellagio, Parma ham and parmesan cheese tour, tour at Podere Il Casale and tour of De'Ricci, the Amalfi Coast and Capri, and our Colosseum tour in Rome. However, this does not take away from any of the other experiences we had. It was all amazing!

My only suggestion is that if you are planning to drive in Italy, I would do a lot of research of what the road signs mean and what to do at tolls. However, it is something that can be figured out any how.

All in all, it was an amazing and memorable trip. We are eternally grateful for the hard work and effort that was put in by everyone that was a part of our trip.

I cannot begin to speak about how amazing this tour was! This is a must experience. Ulises did our tour, the owner of Podere Il Casale, did our tour and I can't speak highly enough about him. Not only is this place and views beautiful but what you learn about their farm is amazing. The cheese and wine was delicious. They are so passionate about what they do. You will instantly fall in love with farming!
