There is absolutely nothing bad I could say about my whole experience with booking this trip through KimKim and Travel12. Everything was EXCEPTIONAL.

My trip was initially postponed because of Covid and then a personal emergency caused really last minute re-bookings and changes to my itinerary. In all the shuffling and change requests, Tasos and his team did not miss a beat nor did they steer me wrong. They guided me fully and I honestly felt truly looked after. I gave Tasos the specifics of what I needed and I got that and more. So if you truly are honest about what you want, you will not be disappointed. Tasos and his team will likely even exceed your expectations!

My accommodations, transfers and even the various versions of my tours/itinerary were carefully detailed and perfectly thought out. The places we stayed, tours/transfers we did, were simply fabulous.

Every question or concern I had was addressed in a timely manner and I felt they genuinely cared about my situation and particularities.

I experienced just a taste of Greece this time and I will not hesitate to use Tasos again for my next trip!

We just returned from our second amazing trip to Iceland using KimKim as our trip planner. Janel, our local specialist was very attentive to our wishes to make this a fantastic trip for our family with two teen boys and she delivered. We spent most of our trip in North and West Iceland and enjoyed so many splendors of the country including a spectacular whale watching trip and coastal horse tour out of Husavik, to visiting several of Iceland’s finest hot springs, waterfalls and epic scenic drives. We ate great food along the way and many of the recommended restaurants and while we mostly stayed in hotels, we enjoyed our one night stay in a adorable seaside house rental in Borgir. We couldn’t have asked for a better return trip and can’t wait to return again to explore the Westfjords someday!

Quito and the Galapagos - with Daniel
This was our first time using Kimkim and we were so impressed. Our local specialist was so helpful from the beginning to the very end of our vacation. His recommendations provided us with all of the highlights and were perfect for our adventurous and nature-loving family of 5 (kids 9, 12, 15). We enjoyed snorkeling daily with playful sea lions and sea turtles. One of our best days was visiting the beautiful uninhabited island of Española were we saw newborn sea lion pups and blue footed booby chicks and families of Albatross.
During our stay in Quito, we did day trips to Mindo which was one of our favorite places with the butterfly garden, bird watching and ziplining.
Daniel was quickly responsive with any questions we had and regularly checked in to make sure everything was going smoothly. The airport and boat transfers were seamless. We always had a guide waiting for us when disembarking, insuring we had no moments of feeling lost in a foreign country.
I would absolutely use Kimkim again to plan our next adventure.

Embracing Nature: Discovering Wildlife on Española Island

This was the highlight of our trip to the Galapagos! We felt like we were right in an episode of National Geographic. We arrived to the beach to see newborn sea lion pups. We saw nesting blue footed boobies and albatrosses. We snorkeled with playful sea lions. Absolutely incredible experience

Wow! Back when we were younger, we used to put everything together ourselves when we traveled but this time we were traveling with another family and did not want to drive ourselves around. We also didn't have time to do all the research that we used to have before kids. Brittany and KimKim made this trip possible.

Brittany and her team was fantastic and patient when it came to answering our questions. The website interface was pretty good and intuitive, though there was a bug where the changes I made to the schedule wouldn't "stick." Brittany found a workaround quickly. When we made scheduling choices that wouldn't work given the rain season, we got good advice for making better choices.

Because I had never used KimKim before, I did a bit of homework to check the KimKim prices vs. the prices offered by the tours on their own websites. In some cases, the tours were less expensive through KimKim, some the same price, and some about $10 more, but absolutely worth it to not have to do the coordinating ourselves. All in all, it would have cost us about the same to do it ourselves but it would have taken us a lot more time to do it ourselves.

KimKim offered many price points for accommodations except for the last location, since it was the most expensive area and not a fault of KimKim. Since we paid so little for accommodation earlier, we were able to splurge for this last location. Even with the lowest-priced accommodation, the splurge was luxurious and worth every penny. We never, ever would have booked a resort in the past but this was really great for families.

Every tour operator, driver, and guide that KimKim worked with were helpful, punctual, flexible, knowledgeable, and phenomenal. There was only one tour guide we didn't think was exceptional and that was the only tour guide that KimKim wasn't responsible for booking. I am looking forward to working with them again!

We saw lots of critters here! Monkeys, agouti, and the resident dogs and cat are a hoot. Great location right in town and close to restaurants (we liked Legado Monteverde, esp. the seafood plancha with Peruvian sauce). Breakfast buffet was delicious and varied. The rooms were clean and thoughtfully laid-out. Our suite was perfect for a family. Lots of hanging hammock chairs for the kids to mess around outside. Staff was helpful, especially Laura. Highly recommend!

I was glad to be isolated from the busy town. The trees and view of the volcano are magnificent. Even on our first day, we saw so many different birds and wildlife! The pool and the springs were a hit with the kids. The delicious food in the restaurant was very reasonably priced and my kid won't stop talking about their fish fingers. The staff is super helpful and flexible, and was always helpful with tours and accommodations. They even made to-go breakfasts for us in the mornings we'd leave too early for the included breakfasts! I appreciated the opportunity to have laundry done for about $8. The rooms were spacious and simple, but we didn't need more than that. It was great!

We don't usually spring for resorts but it was the most reasonably priced option that we saw. I'm glad we did it! The rooms were immaculate and top-notch. Reception and guest services was super helpful for a huge variety of questions. Breakfast was great. Pool is great. Staff are great. Kids loved the pool table. It was generally very kid friendly. We saw a sloth on our first day!

Venado Cave Spelunking & Exploring

We've been on lava tube tours and other limestone cave tours in the US but this one blew them all away! Part of this was the structure of the tour and the cave setting (no guided trails) but a huge part of this was our guide. Marcus knew so, so much about everything. Seriously, I don't know if he has an advanced biology or botany degree or what. We mentioned not having seen a sloth yet (we were only 2 days into our trip) and not 3 minutes after we mentioned this, he located a sloth in the trees on the way there! He stopped the van, got us all out to look with his monocular telescope, let us ask questions and take photos, loaded us back into the van, and then found another one! That was even before we got to the cave. Marcus was great with our varying ranges of ages, fitness, and confidence going into this amazing adventure. We learned so much about the critters and the geology. He was encouraging and friendly, patient and passionate. We did this early in the trip and we knew right afterwards that topping this experience would be hard!

Horseback Riding Costa Rica - All Day Cowboy Ride

Wow! We have done a bunch of riding tours in other places so I was expecting more of the same, but just for longer. We signed up for the whole day and I am so grateful! We learned a ton from Marvin about horses and it is so clear he loves them. They are so cared for and responsive, the easiest horse I have ever ridden—speaking as someone who only does 1-2 hour trail rides with a lifetime total of 10 rides and doesn’t consider themself a rider. Our kids have probably done 5 lifetime rides and they did great. I enjoyed the western style of riding (felt easier on my knees) and the horses didn’t have to wear bits. Marvin had lots of gentle and useful reminders for riding, and his English is much better than he gives himself credit for. The scenery was phenomenal and easier to absorb than on a zip line. The lunch was delicious and filling, nicely accounting for our pescatarian diets. We had time for the kids to scramble around and in a stream and the number of butterflies we saw verged on ridiculous. We were on the horses for almost 5 hours and we will be sore tomorrow for sure but everyone agrees it was worth it, even the kids. Advice? He will provide ponchos if you don’t have any (rain jackets are insufficient for keeping the saddles dry) and you don’t need to bring water because he will pack it. Bring stuff you can wear into the stream, or at least enough to stick your legs in. I probably should have worn jeans but I wanted to pack light, oops. I don’t wear contacts often but did for this trip and I am glad because some parts were very bumpy and my glasses would have fallen off. Definitely a highlight of our trip and we won’t ever forget this!

I was honesty very skeptical about using KimKim because I simply discovered it while researching online but I could not have been more pleased! Everything worked out perfectly. All of our stays were amazing. The drivers were excellent and never late. I highly recommend them.

We love our trip to Greece. We visited Athens, Naxos and Santorini in 12 days. Amalia prepared the personalized program. It was really an amazing trip, highlighting Ancient Greece, touring Athens and the islands and the culinary side of Greece. At the same time we had sufficient free time for shopping with our teenager’s or relax and enjoy the beaches on the island.

This trip was amazing! Simon did such a great job in knowing exactly what to plan. In Paris, our dinner cruise on the Seine was outstanding -one of our favorite meals by far! Our tour of the Eiffel Tour at sunset was awesome and our tour guide Christina was so interesting, fun and knowledgeable. Our family of 5 became pastry chefs and created delicious macaroons which was so fun, but planning this on Bastille Day made travel to the kitchen a challenge;( Our hotel was great. The staff was so wonderful and the accommodations were superb at Hotel Bourdonnais- we would highly recommend!!!

On to the South of France via train. We wish we were given better insight on how these trains work. Our destination was Aix de Provence-but at the train station we did not know which train was which because this train was traveling to Marsailles and I am not sure how we would know that without speaking to someone that could speak english. Another bit of advise- have your luggage ready to leave the train ahead-the stops are very quick!

Aix de Provence was amazing. Our dinner at Jardin Mazarin was delicious and the restaurant was very pretty! The highlights was our trip with Pierre to all the villages - this was so worth it. Our Chef Giles adventure in picking put ingredients, visiting a winery and preparing and eating a masterpiece was an amazing experience.

Absolutely had a great trip, from the moment we arrived in Paris we were on the move. Paris was great and we got to see everything on our itinerary (Catacombs, Eiffel Tower, Seine Cruise). Seine Cruise was highlight of the first day as we took the boat in the evening and got to see all the local Parisians out on the banks enjoying a chat as well as the restaurants and bars going live. Veronique, our host in the Loire Valley B&B LeMoulin du Bourg, doubled as our tour guide as well, she was an awesome host and the B&B was lovely. We were able to experience a local Bastille Day festival in the town which was a once in a lifetime experience we won’t forget. Mt. St Michele was amazing to see as we made our way to the Normandy Region. The Normandy region was the highlight of our trip, we absolutely loved to countryside there and the horses abound. The Omaha Beach tour from Overland Tours was great, we only did the half day tour but would recommend a full day or even two days as there’s just so much to take in. Sidecar tour on the Cider Road was a fun trip, only thing that would’ve been better would’ve been to have it on a cooler day Lol as it was the hottest day in history. The La Cour Sainte Catherine B&B was a very nice B&B with a great location in Honfleur close to everything and easy to get in and out of town. We were able to do a boat tour to see the Cliffs of Etretat which was beautiful and the beach in Fercamp was a welcome solution to the second day of the heat wave. When we got back to Paris I was most appreciative of the accommodations made to make it easy to get to the hotel, return the car and be able to hop on the train to downtown and to the airport terminal the next day. It made it very easy on the last day, and helped with the trip home. Jose was helpful and very responsive with helping us to book the boat tour on last minutes notice, really appreciated it. Looking forward to our next trip.

We scheduled a one week trip to Belize and Guatemala on a whim, and I’m so glad we did!! Eduardo Celada was our specialist and made everything perfect and seamless. We had a lot of moving parts, and he had everything arranged perfectly. He put together a flawless itinerary and scheduled excellent drivers and guides to help us along the way. We had a wonderful time on our Italian vacation and we would like to thank Andrea for all his help to organize this trip. It gave us comfort knowing that if a problem arose we could rely on Andrea to handle it. When unforeseen situations did pop up and caused our train to be late, he adjusted our schedule with our driver and tour guide and kept us on track.
The location of the hotels he chose made it easy for us to enjoy each location. In Rome, the Albergo del Senato room overlooking the Pantheon was more than we expected and was such a treat after a long day of travel. The location of our hotel in Amalfi was close to everything and very scenic overlooking the sea.
All the tour guides were gracious and knowledgeable and we enjoyed every one of them. We especially enjoyed our tour with Georgio in Bari.
Please consider Andrea if you are planning your dream vacation in Italy as we can assure you it will be spectacular!
This was a once in a lifetime trip for us and he made it more than we ever expected.

Martina and her team were amazing. They made me a custom made trip in a short amount of time. I really recommend their treks as I had one of the most stunning hiking experiences in my life. They are friendly and helpful and knowledgeable.

Angela was fantastic to work with! She was there the whole way to help with any issues we had or anything we needed changed! It was an amazing trip overall, all the hotels we stayed in felt super safe and were in good areas. If anyone is wondering if they should do a sunset catamaran in santorini, it is a MUST!!! It was beautiful!! I would definitely suggest working with Angela to friends. Thank you soo much for all the help and our amazing trip to paradise :)

We had a wonderful trip exploring Norway (and a wonderful three days in Stockholm!). All the logistics, the accommodations across Norway and tours were first rate. But most importantly, we appreciate the extra work that went into scheduling this entire trip at least twice and perhaps even three times. Everyone understands the unprecedented disruptions to travel that COVID cost, but none the less, it caused organizations like yours to deal with unique and daunting scheduling, cancellation and rebooking issues. Through all those stressful times, you and Hilde and your other co-workers kept us informed, and did so with a professional, pleasant and positive attitude which was very much appreciated by both my wife and I. The Norway we experienced was a beautiful mixture of colors, from midnight sun on costal rocks and waters to the shine of rosy cheeks and friendly smiles, from multi-colored Bergen store fronts to deep red isolated barns, all never far from the deep greens of spring grasses and just the right amount of mountaintop snow. Thank you for all the effort that went into making our experience one we will never forget.

This hotel is a bit outside of town, but totally worth the drive. Amazing views, cozy rooms, and extremely friendly staff made it all worth it. The hotel has been a family since the 17th century making olive oil and I loved that we had it at breakfast and was able to purchase some to bring home.

What an amazing trip! Tricia’s itinerary was spot on and more importantly she was always there to help us along the way. When SAS cancelled our flight to Svolvaer, Tricia found a solution that kept us on schedule so we would not miss a single minute of this beautiful country, kudos to Tricia and the Kim Kim team!

We are so happy with the trip that Marina help plan for us. It was a 2 week tour of Spain which was curated for our family of four - where we wanted to see great architecture and museums, eat great food and learn about the amazing and varied culture throughout Spain.

Highlights included our guides in San Sebastián - Diego and Toledo - Javi. Both were extremely personable, passionate about their city, and were great with our two boys.

Accommodation were excellent - always in the heart of the city allowing for walking everywhere. In particular, Hotel Palacio in Granada offered the most stunning view of the Alhambra.

Mariana was extremely attentive, making changes on the fly as needed. In particular when accommodations were not appropriate in Bilboa (non adjoining rooms), she was able to switch us to a different hotel within minutes.

Overall an amazing experience!

Tricia was absolutely incredible! From the beginning, Tricia listened to and checked off everything I asked for making my Norwegian bucket list adventure come true! She was amazing in helping us with flight changes due to SAS being on strike, was able to extend our car rental and get us last minute accommodations because of the strike. My dream vacation would not have happened if it weren't for her. Thank you for the most memorable, awesome, amazing, dream vacation of a lifetime!!!!
