I appreciated the detailed itinerary and arrangements that Emanuela prepared for our Iceland trip. She had lots of activities and suggestions for how to make the most of our time there, visiting Reykjavik, the Snaefellsnes, Thingvellir, Golden Circle, and southern coast. As we travelled at a self-pace, we were not able to do all the suggestions, but I think that we got the highlights. The recommendation for the Iceland Lava Show in Vik was great, the show is informative, entertaining and interactive!

One suggestion that I have is that while the rental car (Kia station wagon) was fine, there are many places where the roads got a little rough (pot-holes in gravel). Having a little more ground clearance (such as an SUV) would have been better. Also, we didn't use the GPS much, and opted for an in-car WiFi hotspot and used our phones for navigation.

The trip was really well planned and every single arrangement just worked - even in cases where we requested modifications to the plan.

The trip was fantastic and very well planned. Choephell, our guide, was incredibly knowledgeable and attentive and thoughtful. The food on our trek was surprising and delicious; Maila is a truly amazing camp chef. One of the days of scheduled hiking was too long, almost more than we could handle, but we’d been warned about a long day and it was necessary because we had a shorter time than usual to do the trek. I guess the lesson is to make sure to ask questions and be clear in communication when planning. In any case, we definitely felt well taken care of.

Our 10 day trip to Thailand was amazing. Suwanna, our Bangkok travel agent was brilliant. She organized two airport pick-ups, eliminating the stress of finding a cab, she connected us with some interesting joined group tours, and there were some individual tours with a tour guide. My husband and I really enjoyed the personalized tours as they provided rich opportunities to connect with local people and develop an understanding of the people and culture of Thailand. Most memorable was a Bangkok foodie tour in a tuktuk. We ate food that we would not have dared sample without guidance. Our guide was a young recent university graduate. She was delightful - charming and satirical and a lot of fun. Another highlight was a trip two hous north of Chaing Mai to an elephant sanctuary in a small Karen village in the middle of nowhere. We stopped at a village market to buy food four our lunch and for the elephant. We spent time feeding the elephant and washing him in the river.

We had the most exceptional experience with kimkim. Upon entering the details of our desired travels, we were immediately connected with an agent, Dimtiris, who assisted us in planning the trip of a lifetime.

Dimitris was everything we could have looked for in a travel agent. Following the parameters we laid out for him, he provided us with the absolute best options for our travels. He was both honest and patient with us, and made sure we took as much time as we needed to finalize a trip that felt right for our group.

He informed us on everything that was going on throughout our booking and travel process, so there were no surprises along the way. He answered every question we had and made sure we were prepared when we arrived in Athens.

Dimitris also set us up with a fantastic Skipper for our travels, Andreas. Andreas was patient and thoughtful, and exceeded all of his duties as a skipper throughout our trip. He put so much effort into making sure we had the best trip possible, and he succeeded in doing so.

Thank you, Kimkim, Dimitris, and Andreas for giving us a week we will never forget! We can honestly say we would not have had the same experience if it wasn't for all of your help and consideration.

The kimkim Team did such a great job planning our honeymoon trip! Brahim was very much on top of things, super organized and responsive. He sent me all necessary information ahead of time and curated a tour that matched exactly what we wanted. Communication and planning was absolutely flawless.

Our tour guide and driver, Mohammad was such a joy to spend time with, we couldn't have asked for a better guide. We spent about 4 days with him and he was super knowledgeable about everything we visited and knew all the great restaurants to take us. He was very enjoyable to speak with during our trip and extremely accommodating.

Our honeymoon trip could not have been better - we toured museums, we drove through the beautiful Atlas Mountains, we rode camels and slept underneath the Milky Way in the Sahara Desert! Our time in Morocco was a success thanks to the kimkim Team, Brahim and Mohammad!

My son and I had the most amazing trip to Croatia and it was all because of the incredible planning that Veselka provided. Absolutely everything (hotels, experiences, tours and transportation) was perfect. She checked in with us regularly to ensure everything was going according to plan and she even adjusted when our flight was cancelled and we needed to change our arrival location. I simply cannot recommend Veselka enough. She exceeded all of our expectations!

The whole itinerary was very well planned and we had a great time in Norway. We couldn’t have visited all the beautiful and scenic locations without Nina’s recommendation. All the hotels are very well located. Nina Andreassen was very helpful and responsive to our queries.
Overall we were satisfied and happy with the service provided by Kim Kim and the team.

We had an absolutely enchanting trip to Australia, thanks to Jasmine at Global Tour Specialists! She created a perfect itinerary for us that involved adventures like a rock hopping river hike to a day spent in the rainforest sampling ice cream and climbing above the tree line! We snorkeled at four sites along the Great Barrier Reef from Cairns to Port Douglas, cuddled koalas, and just had day after day of top notch adventure.

Travel was seamless and included transportation - which was a huge help since we’re used to driving on the other side of the road! We felt so relaxed and joyful, and grateful to have had Jasmine’s insight and good planning. We appreciated that there was a 24 hour phone number to contact in case of an emergency, and when we ran into minor issues, Jasmine and her team were so responsive.

This is not the type of vacation we usually take — it was a special occasion (our 10th wedding anniversary) and Jasmine did absolutely everything to ensure it was a special trip every day from beginning to end. Thank you so much! We had the adventure of a lifetime and would recommend KimKim and Jasmine at Global Tour Specialists in a heartbeat!

Sharon ensured that every day that I spent in Marocco was well-planned according to my wishes and personal needs, and Amnay - my excellent driver & knowledgeable guide with a warm personality - ensured that all the plans were becoming my reality.

Marocco certainly doesn’t lack of natural beauty, and distinctive buildings of mosques, riads, and kasbahs. What makes every place special though is the kindness and friendliness of the people.

I would not only travel with Morocco Immersion again but also recommended it to anyone who aims to get away from the mass, and experience Marocco on a personal level.

We did a 11 day driving tour around Iceland. I wish I could pick a few places that were most memorable but the whole trip was amazing. The accommodations were exceptional and the directions were accurate. We had no problems while in Iceland and following the itenary that Preeti put together. Thanks to the WIFI in the car, we were even able to add in a few detours on the fly and still get back to the routes that were part of the iterary. The tours that were booked for us and the guides were very good. We had a lot of fun on all the tours.
Thanks to the team at kimkim for making this trip to Iceland memorable. We plan on coming back for the northern lights and will definitely use their services again.

Our family of four just completed an extraordinary 16-day trip through Mexico, which included stops in Mexico City, San Miguel de Allende, Guanajuato, Tulum, Valladolid, and Holbox Island. This was a truly unforgettable trip. KimKim connected us with Mexico experts, Sibila and Jorge, from Totonal Viajes and they took care of all the details; planning our itinerary, transportation, and activities. From day one, they asked about us to learn how we like to travel, where we wanted to visit, and what we were interested in doing. The trip was perfectly coordinated. Our transportation and guides were all punctual, professional, and great to work with. It is clear that the staff at Totonal have experience and knowledge which they are passionate about sharing so that their clients have a truly wonderful time in Mexico. Every guide we had was well informed on their particular area and subject matter, as well as being friendly and accommodating when necessary.

Melina oversaw our day to day operations, and was available day or night any time we had a question or concern. She was an invaluable resource, and her response time was always super quick! In Mexico City, Pablo capably led us around the city, avoiding crowds and heavy traffic, sharing with us his knowledge of art, history, and the Aztec ruins in the surrounding areas. He was our driver on longer journeys to Queretaro and San Miguel de Allende, and he became like a member of the family after our time together.

Outside of San Miguel de Allende, we had the amazing opportunity to cook with Rosana at her home and restaurant, which is also a museum of prehispanic astronomy. It was an unforgettable day with Rosana, her husband, and her helper Lola- and I would highly encourage anyone with a love of history and the culinary arts to check it out!

Our guide for the day in Guanajuato was Antonio, and he deftly led us on a walking tour of this fabulous city, painting a vivid picture of its history and current status as one of the world’s great silver mining regions. As a lifelong resident of Guanajuato and a former mining engineer himself, Antonio had a wealth of personal knowledge and experience to share with us, and was a true gentleman and pleasure to converse with. From Guanajuato we flew to Cancun and began our time in the Yucatan in Tulum. Our guide, Pepe, showed us the wonders of the Sian Ka’an reserve. As an avid and prolific diver, his knowledge of the history and flora and fauna of the area were unparalleled. We followed him into the jungle to watch a skilled ‘chiclero’ extract latex from a tree using the same method as his father and grandfather before him. Unforgettable!

I also must thank our local contact in Playa del Carmen, Teresa. She accompanied us in person to ensure we had no difficulties at the car rental office, and she was there at the culmination of our journey to see us off at the airport and facilitate a smooth departure. She was kind and wonderful, and always just a message away if we needed anything at all during our time in the Yucatan.

In summary, we are thrilled with KimKim’s services. Like most people, our time and resources for travel are limited, and KimKIm succeeded at providing us with a unique and personal curated experience. It means so much that KimKim was able to assist us with crafting such a memorable, meaningful, and seamless trip. I am already dreaming of the next adventure… and when we are ready for that journey, I will be reaching out to KimKim again to help us with the logistics!

We had a really wonderful time in Myanmar, the country and people are beautiful and the food was simply delicious. Like others we were used to travelling independently and haven't used an agent before but our experience with Anne and everyone at Myanmar Pure couldn't be faulted. We were able to see/do so much more based on their advice visiting Yangon, Mandalay, Bagan, Kalaw and Inle and places in between. We travelled with our 2 year old and everyone went the extra mile to accommodate his extra needs providing car and bike seats, beautifully made up cots, flexibility in trip timing and a variety of travel/activities from air, bike, boat, horse to car and train. Our guides Min, Nay, Arkar, Wai and were all incredibly knowledgeable, friendly and helpful. Having spent many years living and travelling in Asia this was still a fabulously different experience. I have told as many people as I can about visiting Myanmar and using Anne and her team - thank you!! xx

Solid two weeks plan, good accommodations by and large, good guidance on the sites to visit and places to see. She put together a good plan under very short notice with good local guides.
Could benefit from more insights upfront on people interest and some quicker responsiveness during planning.

We've just come back from an amazing trip to Peru. We loved every part of it but a special mention to Jhordy and Paulieno our guide and chef for the Salkantay trek who helped us complete a tough challenge across stunning mountains and also to Manuel who led us on many hunts through the jungle.

Everything was organised by Peruvian Soul and all the connections and pickups were stress free.

Oscar was an outstanding guide for four days. Our itinerary originally included an early morning horseback ride to Rainbow Mountain. We just weren’t up for it mentally or physically and tried to get in touch with our KimKim representative by email but we’re unsuccessful. We did not realize that because it was a Sunday we needed to call. That should have been made clear to us.

Otherwise, all was great!

Stelios was excellent. He engaged my wife, sister and children in a very positive thoughtful way. Our food was excellent and our chef was fantastic. All above expectations. Highly recommend this trip

I consider that one of my luckiest "finds" to be when I ran across a personal travel posting that mentioned kimkim. I had already spent many unsuccessful & frustrating hours on my computer trying to plan a week long trip to Norway with our son, daughter-in-law, 6 yr old grandson and 2 year old granddaughter. It had become abundantly clear that I was out of my depth. Linda answered my initial inquiry at kimkim and we began planning an agenda that included the areas we wanted to see, bolstered by what sites and activities she recommended in each of those areas. Through efficient and prompt emailing, she helped build a travel schedule with the 6 yr and 2 yr children in mind. At no time, however, did I feel that she was pushing us in any particular direction. She was happy to adjust, consider, re-arrange, explain why something might not work, suggest alternatives --- all with the goal of reaching an agenda that met our varied personal needs. Once the final agenda was set, I was SO impressed when everything we needed was emailed to us about 2 weeks before departure: a very detailed trip agenda; hotel reservations; pre-paid train & ferry tickets; timed taxi reservations; individual maps to use once we arrived at each destination; pre-paid entrance tickets to Viking Valley; names of guides, their contact information, time & place to meet; even a dinner reservation at a popular restaurant -- plus her contact number if we needed anything during the trip. In addition, she double-checked each reservation right before we arrived. I realized how carefully we were being "shadowed" during the trip when I received an email from Linda, just "checking in" to see how we were doing, and a text another day advising me that a guide had become ill, and giving me the name & contact information of the new guide. That was when I clearly realized the most valuable difference in kimkim and the "brick & mortar" travel agencies I have used in past years: a travel agency here in the U.S. would have been finished with us once we paid, and certainly once we had departed on the trip. Linda and our guides (Matilda & Vilde --- both delightful, by the way) were there for us throughout the trip. We knew intuitively that we could count on Linda and her colleagues to help us in any situation that might arise, or even to just answer a question.

I consider myself a walking kimkim advertisement now. I am spreading the word to everyone I know, as this business model offers a level of excellence & stress-free travel that is completely unique in today's world of limited, impersonal customer service. Thank you, Linda! We LOVED your gorgeous Norway! We hope to use kimkim again!

We enjoy our trip in Iceland very much. Sotiria has been really helpful and answered all of our questions. Her planning has helped smooth our trip and we had more opportunity to enjoy the moment with less worry.
