The trip was everything and more than what we expected. The drivers, guides and management kept us informed the day in advance as to the upcoming pick up times and itinerary. The guides were extremely knowledgeable about the locations and history. The Sumo Experience in Tokyo is a must see, as well as, the Samurai Ninja museum in Kyoto.

Shona very helpful with setting up the itinerary and going through each day prior to departure. We will definitely use her services again. We appreciate all she did for us. Thank You for making the trip a wonderful experience!

We had a wonderful, and stress-free trip thanks to the incredible service of Kim Kim. Knowing all our rides were prearranged made things so easy!
They picked a wonderful location at the Melidron within a couple minutes walk to all the restaurants we could ever want. The choice of Naxos Island was perfect for us, especially after comparing with what we heard of Santorini and Mykonos from other travelers. It is more laid-back, less crowded and everything is more affordable. The location of our place in Athens was great too, and we were able to explore around on our own and find our way back thanks to Google Maps. Our favorite tours were on Naxos. One was with Iliana, walking from village to village, tasting and eating along the way. She was very knowledgeable and great company. We loved the One-on-one style, where we could get to know something about each other.
We also enjoyed our farm visit, I'm sorry not to remember our guides name, I should have written it down. (Stavros, maybe?) He was also very personable and picked a perfect dish for us to prepare. We loved walking around the farm meeting Wilson and his sheep family.
We also got acquainted with some of the staff at the hotel. Julia and Foteini every day at breakfast and evening at the pool bar, and Teo on our last day.
Of course food was the highlight of the trip, and starting every morning with the fabulous breakfast at the Melidron, was what we looked forward to each day.
The beach scene wasn't our style, with side by side umbrella and beach beds that were for rent for a whole day. If we were younger, and had more time, we might have rented a scooter to explore the island on our own to find less crowded beaches. We did take our own masks and fins, so we went for a quick snorkle at the less crowded end, though there wasn't much to see.
We didn't get to do our catamaran trip because of the wind conditions, but having talked to a couple that did it, we weren't all that disappointed. They said the boat ride was bumpy and they didn't see too many fish.
We appreciated the great customer service of Kim Kim; they let everyone know about Dan's birthday, so they brought him a special dessert with a candle at the pool, and they had a cake with a candle at our farm lunch in addition to the dessert we made ourselves. Very sweet!
We've never taken an agent-organized trip before, and it was a treat to have most of the planning done for us!

A Day on the Mediterranean: Catamaran Cruise from La Palma

The staff had their act together. They cleaned up from last tour and got us on the water. The water is so so beautiful. Drinks were meh . Decent but quite expensive for what they were. The white sangria was delicious. The snacks were ok. I asked for a vegetarian meal but didn't get it. They said my name wasn't on the list. But they did throw a veggie dog on a plate for me.

Finnish Sauna Experience

Thrilling experience, fun hike and a very active and cool guide Yana. It was a cloudy day and so we missed the 'sun' but the experience was still worth it. To be on top of the hill at midnight was fun, could have been a lot more thrilling with the sun setting and rising. But, we still loved it. Yana made it so much more fun.

Good ride

We were very happy with the fact that for the most part we had private tours in Lisbon, Centra, Porto. The tour person in Porto was at best adequate as we really didn’t see a whole lot of interesting areas. However, the tours in Lisbon were very good. For the most part, the drivers for the transfers between cities and areas were acceptable. The driver from Argave to Lisbon at the end of our trip, seemed a bit distracted, which did not make us very comfortable. As for the hotels, as you were aware, the Tivoli was not consistent with our expectations. The other hotels were acceptable. However, if we took another trip, we would probably ask for an upgrade on the quality of the hotels, including size of rooms. You may wish to consider when speaking to your clients and planning the trip discussing the quality of the hotels in more detail and finding out if they would want to pay additional monies for a better quality hotel.

Noga did a fantastic job of planning our itinerary and refining it after we decided to see more of Iceland. We changed the size of our rental car just days before our trip and Noga and Nick were both very responsive within minutes of our request. Kimkim really felt like a concierge travel service because of their immediate response time with any questions that we had. The Kimkim app was extremely easy to use while planning the trip and also in Iceland. Our trip was fantastic! Our itinerary took us to so many extraordinary places while keeping in mind our stamina for each activity. For example, after a long overlong flight, our first activity was to a beautiful geothermal spa. Most days had much driving around the Ring Road, but there were stops along the way that left us awestruck. Our hotels were all very comfortable with 1001 Nott and the Glacier Lagoon hotels both being standout properties. Our tours were led by guides who were both extremely knowledgeable and also friendly and kind. Our Katla Cave and Glacier Walk tours were amazing. The tours physically challenged me but each of our guides took the time to personally help me. I would 1,000 percent recommend Kimkim to help navigate an amazing trip. It was a vacation that we will never forget!

My trip was organised by Ben who was most helpful at every stage of the process. I initially contacted him at KimKim to help me devise an overall plan for what was to be my first trip to Japan.

He gave me great advice on what to see as o was a first timer and how long to spend doing it.

My guides Yoko and Ursula were knowledgeable and friendly. I’d happily use them again and would give them the highest recommendation possible

This was the first time I booked with KimKim-so there was a learning curve. But once I figured it out-it was great. All of the drivers were fantastic! The guides were amazing-special shout out to Catherine in Inverness, who had a boundless knowledge of the area, as well as stories of growing up there. She was a true gem. Also, Brian who took us to Skye was just wonderful. The extra stop at the Quarngs will never be forgotten. The most beautiful scenery imagined. Katrina, the organizer from KimKim was also amazing. She was so responsive, I couldn’t believe it. I think, the one thing that might have been slightly better were some of the hotels. Since we didn’t have a car and there is not a lot of public transport in some for the places, I would have asked for places closer to town, and also maybe a little nicer. Although all off the hotels were fine and clean, Greenaces in Portree, had very poor communication and no breakfast, (unless you walked a mile) even though it is billed as a B&B. On the other hand The Corrie’s in Lake Lomond was absolutely fantastic. It also had the best porridge of the whole trip. Brodie, the proprietor there, was the nicest man, he even drove us into town in the rain so we didn’t have to wait for the bus. I think the thing I would do next time is be more specific about want I wanted the trip to be, and do more research on the hotels. I did also check into some other private tours and this one was much more reasonable. Over all, it was a great experience and I will definitely book again.

The B&B is in a beautiful setting with wonderful views. If not for that, I would 1 star it. When you walk in, the foyer smells of damp and mold and there is no information on what to do. When we booked, we received a confirmation email that told us very little. When we arrived we had no idea what to do as there was no one on site. The first number we called went to automatron hell and we got no where. We finally called the emergency number (and got scolded) but he begrudgingly gave us our room number and the lock box code for our key. You would have thought that he might have given us some more info as we told him our email said basically nothing. The next crisis was arranging breakfast-again calling numbers that sent us into VM cyclones. Once we did reach someone, the only times left for the breakfast were after 9am. Since we are early risers so we walked the mile to town to get coffee and pastries from the bakery(which was amazing) and then the mile back for our actual breakfast, only to find out that, breakfast is not served at Greenacres, but at The Rosedale, a hotel, a mile back into town. The second morning, we could not have breakfast until 9:30 but our ride was scheduled to pick us up at 9. So we walked to the bakery again, but it was Sunday and there were closed, So I went to the Rosedale and explained our situation and asked it we could eat early- it was about 8am. We still had walk the 20 minutes back to the B&B to meet our driver. They did let us eat, but again, they were not very nice about it, as if we had upset their whole day. There were about 4 other patrons in the restaurant at the time, so I’m unsure why we were so hard to accommodate. At any rate, other than the beautiful view of the sea, the place was run down and not pretty. The room was fine, clean, but there was about a 2 foot clearance around each side of the bed. It was just not a great place to stay. I would avoid at all costs. I think, if the people had been nice to us, I don’t think I would have been so negative. But their attitude was not at all service oriented, as if we were asking for so much. A key to our room and breakfast at time we were able to make it should not be seen as demanding. Overall, a big thumbs down to Greenacres! Oh and if you don’t ask for a seaview room, it could be even more horrible, because that was the only thing that made it bearable to stay there. The rooms facing the road looked abysmal.

This hotel was fine. Good location and the accommodations were clean and nice. The breakfasts were also great. But it was just like a strip hotel without any real character. We were in a “suite” that was in a separate building. The room looked out over the parking lot and the back of the other part of the hotel, so you basically had to keep the curtains shut the whole time, or the guests of the hotel were looking directly into your room. You also had to walk outside to get into the main hotel and drag your suitcase up a pretty big set of cement stairs to get to the room. Thank goodness we were on the 2nd floor and not the 3rd. Location was good. Staff were ok, although not anxious to do anything extra. It was a nice functional, clean hotel, but not memorable.

The Corries B&B

Small 4 room B&B. The owner Brodie, was great-very helpful and friendly. The only thing here is thst it is far from all but 1 restaurant and you need transport to go anywhere. We were only them for a day, and he dropped us at a trailhead so we could have a lovely hill walk, but then we walked the 3 miles back to the B&B, which was fine for us, but might not be for others. Luckily, the only close restaurant-Loch Lomand Inn- had great food and wine and we ate there both nights. But overall, it would be best if you had a car in this region. The B&B is so pretty, with nice comfortable rooms and amazing breakfasts. Highly recommend staying here.

Jacobite Steam Train

We found out 30 inures before the scheduled departure thst the train was not running due to repairs on the track. This was planned in advance. I guess the Jacobite people didn’t tell out tour company who kept trying to get us tickets. This was a little bit of a big deal, because if we had know in advance, we prob could have skipped Fort William, or at least,planned other things in advance, like a distillery tour. We were lucky and had great weather and went on a nice hike, but if given the choice in advance would have probably chosen to spend more time in Skye.

The only bad this here, is thst our driver who took us from Glasgow to Loch Lomand was supposed to,give us a 2 hour tour of Tossahchs National Park which did not happen. He just drove,us to our B&B and left. We should have had a guide on our day in Loch Lomand. We were lucky the B&B guy took us to a trial head, but we still had to walk 3 mile back.

It was a nice boat and the guide was funny and informative. It was good to get in to the harbor to be able to really see Ben Nevis, but it was a little bit of a time filler. The eventual destination of “seal Island” was a tiny rock with about w0 seals laying on it. A little underwhelming. If you had kids it would be fun I guess.

I had an incredible trip to Italy! I think Giulia did an amazing job helping my family and I with the planning process, catering to our needs and helping answer the questions we had when we asked them. However, I feel given the amount of things we had planned in a short period of time, the information was not communicated as thoroughly as I would have hoped when it came to certain activities we had opted for. Overall, the trip was an memorable one and I am really that KimKim worked with us to make it amazing!

João was wonderful to work with, he was extremely knowledgeable and helped steer us in the right direction in terms of tours and main attractions. He was also very responsive and helpful whenever I had any questions or comments both prior to the trip and during the trip, which was much appreciated! He provided a clear and transparent Road Book that listed all the activities with guide names and contact information, which made it very easy to find the right people (in a foreign country) and helped us plan out our day. Lastly, he personally drove from Lisbon to Lagos to pick us up, which we greatly appreciated and helped us maximize our time in Lagos stress-free. It was a pleasure working with him and I would reach out to him again the next I'm in Portugal.

We worked with very knowledgeable guides in each city, which helped us feel more connected to the people and culture of Portugal. Francisco in Lisbon was a great guide who was very knowledgeable about the history of the city and provided useful tips to help us avoid major tourist lines and optimize our time. He also recommended a wonderful restaurant that turned out to be our favorite meal of the trip. He accompanied us to Sintra and was a huge asset in helping us navigate crowded sites and optimize our day. He provided a ton of interesting background information on Pena Palance and Quinta de Regalaeria, which helped us appreciate the experience much more. He also insisted we try the local pastries in Sintra (which was a highlight of the day) and advised us to tour the National Palace of Sintra, which is a must-see and not too crowded.

In Porto, we worked with Manuel, who was very passionate about Porto and very eager to show us his home city. He gave us great advice on what to see or do in our down time and is very knowledgeable of the history of Porto. We felt very comfortable with and thought he was very patient with us as we took our multiple photos! He even gave me a small token to remember my trip, which I greatly appreciated the thought and gesture. In Porto, we did a Duorro Valley wine tour and had the best driver/guide Andres. He had such great energy, and was funny, lively, and passionate about the port wine industry! He gave us great tips of what to see and overall made our Duorro Valley experience more enjoyable!

Overall, we had a great time booking with Kim Kim, which allowed us to work with local experts on planning a customized action-packed itinerary. Kim Kim also took care of most of our transportation needs to and from the airport, train station, and hotels, which made our vacation much more enjoyable and comfortable. Lastly, all the guides were very knowledgeable, professional, and passionate about their job, which added to our overall experience! We would definitely work with Kim Kim again.

We were so pleased with our entire tour with Kimkim. Every transfer, every driver was friendly and always on time!!! We never worried about our pick up or our meeting places. Thank you Kimkim for the detailed itinerary! We started in Athens with 2 neighborhood walks. Our guide, from “ Greek Travel Tellers” , CATHERINA, was wonderful and passionate about showing us the neighborhoods!! In Mykonos, our neighborhood guide, PACO, was very informative friendly, and yes , passionate about showing us the neighborhoods! In Santorini, Santorini Road Trips: our guide/ driver was KOSTAS!! He too was passionate, informative & friendly. At the end of our tour, we felt like family! Our last tour with LENA, of course Santorini Food Tour, was so informative & yummy! -Le Bayeux: 2 Stars: Location is good, staff is polite, but hotel is very old and needs maintenance. Walls are paper thin, we couldn’t sleep for 3 nights. We could hear the guests coming and going in the middle of the night.
-La Maison Rabelais: 5 Stars: All great
-Arok: 2 Stars: Stylish hotel with polite staff in a very bad neighborhood. I wouldn’t recommend walking around outside.

I chose to book with Kimkim considering the hotels are vetted. But I think I’ll do it myself next time based on Tripadvisor reviews.

Also, we got sick the day before last day. Although I cancelled with the tour reaching out to the tour guide 24 hours ago, I am not getting any money back. Cancellation policy is not very meaningful.
I think I overpaid for the whole thing.

This is my first trip to Europe and it was so amazing. Audrey's thoughtful trip plan included both typical tourist highlights of the area as well as unexpected activities that were outstanding. I cannot recommend this service enough! The trip was so well-planned and all I had to do was show up and enjoy it!

The first few days we felt were a little rushed with city/hotel changes and early morning trains. This led us to cancel one of our scheduled tours due to fatigue and pouring rain in Zurich. After we arrived in Munich on day 5 the pace slowed to be more manageable. Still our bus trip to Linderhof and Neuschwanstein felt very rushed. I would have liked to have spent more time at both locations. Pedro our guide for that trip was very good but to keep the tour on time we left 3 people at Linderhof. I was concerned about making it back to the bus in time at Neuschwanstein, so I missed visiting the castle and waited in town while my husband went. It was probably a good decision as we left another passenger there.

Our 2 private tours in Munich were excellent. Kevin took us on a walking "Beer and Bites" tour which we both enjoyed. Max took us to Berchtesgaden and Eagles Nest. Both tours were well paced, and we enjoyed discussing history with both guides. We had some confusion with our guide in Nuremburg. He did not have our name and was looking for another customer and our paperwork said we would be meeting "Kevin" at our hotel. After some discussion between us and the hotel staff we realized that Bastien had booked both the hotel and the tour for us and we were his client for the day. Charlie was also an excellent guide and included some YouTube videos in his car to help give context to some of the WWII sites we visited.

Each of the hotels we stayed in were comfortable. Hotel Beausite in Interlocken was very picturesque and appeared quite old on the outside. The interior was clean, modern and very comfortable. Our room at Hotel Cocoon in Munich was huge and included 1 1/2 baths, sauna and large seating area in the room. The hotel in Nuremburg was next to the market area and an easy walk to the historic area.

I was a little concerned about having a rental car, but my husband did the driving. We had no problems finding parking and navigating from one city to the next. We did have difficulty finding the car rental return location in Frankfurt. The address was shown at the train station but was behind construction barriers. We had to circle a few blocks before final spotting a sign on the fourth floor of a parking garage near the station.

Overall, our trip was fabulous! We have joked that we were touring Europe one mistake at a time. Fortunately, the mistakes were minor and easily corrected. We quickly learned to navigate the public transportation in each city and were even able to add a side trip to Dachau while we were in Munich.

In a word, amazing! From our caring and funny driver, Mohammed (who still insists his chicken lemon tangine is the best),
to a variety of craftspeople, which caused credit card “exercise “ to commence and packing conundrums to deal with when leaving if shipping was not included.

Probably the best thing to say about KimKim, its employees and the Moroccan people in general is they want to help you to have the best time you are capable of.
Between airplane issues and my mobility challenges due to the seemingly unlimited stairs and high step up into the transport vehicle provided for the week in Morocco, everyone went beyond what was expected. Hotel rooms were altered, luggage was “handled”, a stool was purchased for the van, and dozens of other questions were answered. Guides altered itineraries due to “less stairs this way.”

I have traveled extensively. My ruler for the success of a trip and a travel agency is “ Would I return to this country using the same process?” The answer for Morocco and KimKim is “Undoubtedly.”
