Very comfortable rooms and beds. Breakfast was good and location close to but off the strip was ideal for my family.

Services were very good. Staff was very helpful. The hotel had a good courtyard for breakfast and leisure, and we enjoyed the rooftop for evening family social time.

This was a very relaxing day before we left the island. Our guide was simply fantastic! Seeing and learning about the tortoises were great.

This was a very special day and trip. Roughly two hours to get to the island via boat but well worth the time. The hike tour was very information on the volcanic formation. And the view ..... WOW. The lunch was great and the snorkeling with the penguins was something everyone wanted to see.

This was very close to the hotel and a shorter trip. We saw sea lions, many turtles and snorkeled over the sleeping sharks.

Maximo was excellent - the kids got to see a school of 20+ young sharks. The tunnels and landscape are amazing. We were treated to some great blue footed boobie dances on this trip.

This was our relaxing day. Bike ride was fun and we stopped at different spots on the ride. We really enjoyed body surfing and swimming on the beautiful beach.

Great rip- we really enjoyed the beach stop and of course kicker rock. Snorkeling on the beach was fun and then seeing the hammerheads and marine life around kicker rock was amazing.

Enrique was a great guide. He got us all setup with our snorkel gear and wet suits. He gave us a good overview and let us view the interpretation center before going snorkeling. He was a great snorkeling guide. We went further into the cove with him and definitely saw more marine life. The sea lions were great, and this was the first place we swam with the turtles.

This hotel is very small, which was nice. Our room was small as well, but had good storage and we loved that we could cool down the room as it was very hot in Rome. The room was clean and modern. I would advise giving very clear instructions on how to find the hotel (look for the panel and ring up to the room, follow signs to the elevator) - we arrived when the street was very crowded and it was so hard to find what to do. Staff was helpful when we had questions.

The location of this hotel was great, as we walked everywhere in Florence. It was clean, well decorated and our room was spacious. The employees were kind and friendly. Two reasons I gave four stars: we struggled with the temperature in our room (it was very hot outside and we had trouble cooling off) and the internet was not reliable at all.

We ended up being the only ones on the tour - Felipe was great, so personable and a great host. I appreciated that there was not a hard sell to buy wines.

The people were SO friendly and hospitable, the view was spectacular, and “Mama’s breakfast” was like no other anywhere I’ve ever been!

Our hike through the volcano site, the boat ride, the food and drink, the swim out to the hot springs, the music on the boat, and last but not least, the beautiful sunset cruise to Oui! Will never forget this!

This was among our top two favorite tours! Our bus driver Konstantinos was THE BEST! He was funny, engaging, and his fun banter with our tour guide Ana made it even more memorable. We laughed so much!! Great memories!! We learned so much about grapes, wine, and wineries! And we got to prepare our delicious meal together with our tour guide!

I was hoping it would be a meal, but it was mostly small appetizer type food. Our host Katarina was lovely and fun!

A wonderful gem of a hotel

Incredible hotel with real character in the old part of town. An oasis in the chaos of an old city center. Food was wonderful. Staff very helpful

Breakfast was wonderful. We had an issue with a room which was quickly changed to another room.

This is a crazy beautiful place, it feels like you are walking on Mars. Local people are so kind and helpful, the rooms are gorgeous

We cannot say enough wonderful things about this establishment. Having fabulous breakfasts in the garden every mornings. The suite was absolutely gorgeous the staff was always willing to help us in anyway they could the best service in the world.

Going off the beaten trail and seeing the culture and the history of Mykonos.

Nice hotel and design, private small beach area, cute pool. Saw some animals around the hotel area. Big tub that we tried to use but there wasn't hot water so we had to give up. Niceish breakfast and menu overall, laude guests! Cleaners let some wasps in the room so we asked not to clean it.

Great hotel, huge rooms, shower+tab and clean design, comfy beds. The stuff are really helpful and nice. Amazing view! You can do night tour inside the hotel area. Great breakfast. Bad wifi.

We stayed at the honeymoon suite, room was big but had some issues, floor is always wet, window didn't close so bugs could got in. so did the door. Bright white light next to our room brought all the bugs by at night. No real hot water in the shower so we didn't use the hot-tub :[ Small TV. Big, comfortable room. Breakfast is great, dinner less... Hot springs included was wonderful! we went twice. The view from the lobby was great, saw some amazing birds. Staff are nice.

A stay by the airport. staff are nice. rooms are relatively big. OK breakfast.

We stayed at this hotel for 2 nights. The hotel provided breakfast was amazing. There is a cafe attached to the dining area where they offer espresso, pastries, sandwiches. We had the best coffee on our trip in their cafe (Cortado). Highly recommend getting one of their cafe drinks. There is not much around this area to choose from a hotel, but our rooms were clean and open. The room temperature was a little warm, but we cracked the window to keep the air circulating. The room was on the smaller side, but I expected that. The bathroom was a bit dated and could use an update. The beds and pillows were very comfortable. We ate at the onsite restaurant and had one of the specials and it was AMAZING. Some of the best fish we've ever had. Overall pleasant experience and we would stay here again.

We stayed at this hotel for 2 nights. This is a small town where a lot of establishments close at 9pm, including the hotel restaurant. The rooms were not as clean as I would've preferred. After our first night, the cleaning staff did not tidy up the room only refreshed the toiletries, which seemed odd to us and we had not experienced before. The room was small and our room was right near sitting water outside with a ton of bugs. The room was warm, so we had to crack the window, which meant a lot of bugs got into our room. If we were to stay in this town again, we would look for a different hotel. The hotel provided breakfast here was amazing.

This was our favorite hotel on our trip! The rooms were very spacious, clean, and the shower was amazing! The room temperatures were comfortable compared to other hotels on our trip. I only wish we had stayed one more night!

The whale watching excursion with Laki Tours was so much fun. While the first few hours we didn’t see anything, in the last hour we saw orcas (including a baby). Since we saw them so late, the tour operator stayed out another 30 minutes so we could watch the whales. We were under the impression that it was a small group tour, but there were about 40 or more people on this excursion. This may be what is typical for small group tour size, and we were not aware.

The Katla Ice Cave Tour excursion with Southcoast Adventures was not what I had envisioned. We were under the impression that it was a small group tour, but there were about 20 or more people on this excursion. The Katla Ice Cave collapsed last year (and we were not aware), so the first part of the tour was seeing what was left of the Katla ice cave (not a whole lot) and then hiking to a baby ice cave to walk through it. The baby ice cave made up for the first part of the tour. Even though it didn’t live up to what I had envisioned, the total experience of trekking to the glacier, hiking the glacier a bit to see what was left of the ice cave, and hiking through the baby cave was a unique experience. It was amazing to think how old the glacier was and the volcano ash we were walking on, we took it in. I wish we had known about the Katla Ice Cave collapsing, and we would’ve selected a different excursion (like a true glacier hike).

The Kayaking in Jokulsarlon Glacier Lagoon was AMAZING. This tour was a true small group tour of 5-7 people (2 people arrived late and had to go on a different tour), and what we would’ve expected with a small group tour (around 10 people). Once kayaking in the lagoon, we had the freedom of taking pictures and kayaking at our own pace. We were fortunate with the weather, and seals were swimming all around us. The seals were friendly and swam up near us, a few seals were on an iceberg sunbathing. This was by far my favorite excursion to be up close to the beautiful icebergs and seals.

Unfortunately by the time we arrived in Heraklion, it was evening so we only had 2 nights and 1 full day here. The beds were super comfortable as was the bedding. The shower was out of AD and great. We were right across the street from the parking lot and our room, that had a balcony and table and chairs overlooked a square. You can have your breakfast there for a small additional cost.

Sole d'oro was a great place to stay in on Santorini. We had our own private hot tub and the room was nice a roomy. The bathroom was this wonderful soft yellow that made you look wonderful and tanned in the mirror. The shower was in an adobe type structure that was very roomy. Because of Covid-19, breakfast was on our patio or in our room and coffee, croissants, cakes and breads came automatically and then we ordered yogurts, omelets, as well as freshly squeezed juice. Only comment is there was not enough space to put out clothing so we dressed from our suitcase.

Parking was not the easiest, however we were at the hotel 4 nights and didn't have a problem parking in the two small lots just up the street from the hotel.

The hotel was located in a quiet part of Athens, yet close enough to Plaka, the oldest and fashionable in Athens. The beds were extremely comfortable as was the bedding. The bathroom was modern and the shower great. They offered a breakfast in their dining room that was included. Cheeses and hams to start, with croissants and other savory breads, freshly squeezed orange juice and coffee and then they gave you a menu for breakfast! So much food and very delicious. The folks at the desk couldn't have been more helpful and friendly. We would definitely go back again.

We felt like we were living in an old restored Cretan building--I'm sure we were. They did a beautiful job in the restoration and our room felt authentic as well, with beamed ceilings and shuttered windows and thick white stone walls. The room contained all modern amenities, although it was lacking in storage for clothing, if you were staying more than a few days. We loved the location and were steps away from tons of restaurants and shops and the old harbors was not too far away.

Tough location if you have a car as there is limited parking and then you need to roll you suitcase thru the Old Town of Chania over cobble stone walkways.

Our last tour with Nicolas and the driver, Yannis was a lot of fun. We visited a super cool herb farm, where they had hundred of jars of herbs, teas and special soaps, as well as gardens where a lot of it was grown. We spent a lot of time choosing soaps and herbs that were so reasonably priced. We had drinks on the veranda before we departed to a beautiful gorge that we could not access due to the last smaller earthquake that cut off easy access. The roads along with way were filled with pink and white flowers with the snow capped mountains in the background. Nicolas took us to a part of Crete where you can see both the Agean and Libyan Seas. We visited Monasteries in both eastern and western Crete that were beautiful as they were historic, We had lunch in tavern that was surrounded by running streams and you can drink the water right from the stream! The lunch as delicious grilled fish, tzatiki and another Greek speciality that we'd never had before that was phenomenal! We also went to a Monastery from where the monks got into soldiers gear to help fight off the German's in WW2. We later visited a monument celebrating their fight.

Our eastern Crete tour was the best. Alex was an incredible guide who was so knowledgeable about everything Crete. Our driver was also engaging and full of knowledge about olive trees and all things growing. We went on this tour with 2 other lovely ladies that made the trip that much more interesting. We checked out all different plants growing on the side of the road that were used for cooking or for medicinal uses. Alex took us to a remote restaurant, where mostly locals eat and we had the best meal in our visit to Crete! Everything was prepared in wood burning ovens and they were able to accommodate us as vegetarians, with the most incredible roasted vegetables, stuffed peppers and sautéed herbs and greens from the 6,000 varieties in Crete-they had wood roasted lamb and goat for the carnivores They made their own wines which were part of the meal and delicious, as well as home made cheeses. We stopped at a gorge, where we went thru a flowing stream only to come out to the most amazing view. We have many pictures from this spot. We went to an old monastery that was run by nuns, where they gave us cookies and allowed us to wonder their beautiful and zen spot. There was a small store where the nuns sold things that they made.

The tour we took in Santorini was a bit of a waste-the Unexplored Culture of Santorini. We went to a tomato factory that is no longer used and we were given a recorded tour thru the factory. Since cherry tomatoes were not in season, there was nothing to see in the fields. Our guide Yannis was full of information as he lived thru the earthquake of 1956 and had many stories and those including the tomato factory that was under a few feet of mud . We then went to the Symposion for the music part of the tour. It was run by a fascinating and talented couple who renovated the property from wine making to music making. They were a fascinating couple but we would have preferred hearing Greek music from our talented host instead of making our own "pan" musical instrument.

Our tour to the Acropolis in Athens was hindered by an heat episode on my part so the trip was reorganized and we spent a good part of the day in the Museum seeing the Parthenon and Acropolis thru Eleni's adept descriptions and commentaries, it was close to actually being there. Eleni made the tour enjoyable and educational. Regrettably we spend so much time in the museum, where it was cool and where there was less concern for my "health", that we missed part of the food tour that we were really looking forward to. That said, Eleni made sure we got our souvlaki and Loukoumades, that was super delicious.

Perfectly adequate for what it is-- a businessy, airport hotel.

It is a luscious and thrilling spot. Beautifully appointed. Delicious food.

Stay there!!! I cried when I climbed the stairs and was led to my room and saw that view for the first time. The food was delicious. The service, very solicitous. This is an enchanted spot I will never forget. It is a significant climb of irregular stairs to reach the hotel from the lake's edge, and then more steps to get to one's room. So older, movement impaired or disabled folks may find it too challenging.

This hotel is modest, sweet, small, and charming, with an enchanting garden-- and it could not have a better location, just 50 yards away from the Central Park/Plaza Mayor. I am a daily swimmer, and though while small, I appreciated the pool for an afternoon dip. It is a bit tattered around the edges, but in a way, that only adds to its authenticity and charm. It is not a sleek, spa-like experience. On the downside, it is next door to a bar, that on Saturday night was a little loud-- but not terrible. The other odd thing was that none of the windows in my room opened. As it could be quite humid in Antigua, the room felt a little stuffy. But with the ceiling fan on, and leaving my door open for a bit-- it was fine. It was perfect for me.

A whole other world and experience! Only because someone I met at the gate at LAX waiting for the same flight to Guatemala suggested it-- I asked Eduardo about a sunrise tour of Tikal. He then happily arranged it. It made ALL the difference! I only saw perhaps 5 other tourists the whole morning, and it was much cooler than later in the day. It was like having the acropolis or the Sistine Chapel to oneself.

This was one of the trip highlights for me!

Such dramatically different atmospheres in villages not a half mile apart. I loved Santiago Atitlan, and San Juan de Laguna was utterly charming offering a magnificent view, if willing to climb a steep hill. So much art everywhere! San Pedro was interesting enough, but if time were tight, I would say one could skip it.

The hike was not nearly as challenging as I had imagined. A lovely day getting acquainted with Luis and admiring constantly shifting vistas.

It was a push for me physically. (But I'm a fit 67-year-old.) Those big balloon tires are a good choice for riding over all those cobblestones! Still a bumpy ride in places. A couple challenging hills. But so lovely to see villages and squares there I would never likely visit. Made me want to linger in each one.

The staff at the hotel was absolutely amazing. Super helpful super friendly. The hotel itself was a little bit dirty.
