Sharon was an excellent organizer of our trip and was very responsive to our interests and time frame. Jennifer was a wonderful companion and guide as we cycled around Lake Kawaguchiko and had Hoto noodles for lunch. We visited Kyoto and Nara with Kuro and learned a lot about the history of the temples and shrines, as well as the country overall. Or last stop was Hiroshima and Slash was a marvelous guide as we visited the Hiroshima Peace Memorial Park, the Hiroshima Castle and the island of Miyajima. We highly recommended Sharon and all of our guides!

Lisbet planned us an AMAZING Iceland trip!! My family and I made incredible memories driving around Iceland and exploring such a beautiful country. I have absolutely no words for how perfect our trip went. Lisbet went above and beyond in planning our itinerary to specifically cater it to my family and I. She also added such amazing food and activity recommendations for our trip. All of our check ins for hotels and activities were seamless. I couldn’t have asked for a better itinerary than the one Lisbet created for us, especially for our first time visiting Iceland. My family and I definitely have plans to return to Iceland soon and will be using KimKim again to plan our next adventure! It was a wonderful (first) experience with KimKim! Once Beatriz took over our tour, communication was superb and everything went smoothly. The guides and tours KimKim provided were all exceptional. Our guide in Madrid has her Masters in Art History and it made our visit to the Prado Museum most memorable. Our guide in Toledo (highly recommend the day tour), also a History Major, from Toledo, and very knowledgeable. All transfers went very smoothly and our driver, Jesus, who we had two auto transfers with was always early to arrive and a delight to share information with on our transfers! The Flamenco Show in the Sacromonte Cave in Granada was beyond incredible. Being in the cave made the experience so authentic, and sitting close enough to nearly be part of the dance added such thrill. It felt like a genuine showcase of flamenco's roots, and I'm glad we chose to see it there as suggested.

The guided visit to Toledo was absolutely lovely. Our guide was a local with a master's in history, sharing detailed cultural narratives that were fascinating. She gave us insights on local traditions, which came to life when we witnessed a procession in Malaga just as she described. Her depth of knowledge made the experience truly memorable.

I will start by saying our time in and around Westport with our guide Jim Henry was one of the best parts of our trip. He’s friendly, knowledgeable, extremely accommodating, empathetic and an overall pleasure to spend time with. We learned a great deal from him.
We really enjoyed having multiple choices of places to stop along our routes. Most routes we accomplished 1-3 stops. On the causeway coast we did 6 of 7. We were exhausted after but it was worth every step. If we get the opportunity we will be in touch for another trip in the south of the island.

The three of us couldn't have been more pleased with the experience of working with kimkim! From the beginning, our agent, Irene, crafted a trip that encompassed our wildest dreams. Her quick, knowledgeable answers to our questions, and her expertise in kimkim's services, as well as travel in general, were endlessly helpful and reassuring. The plan she created was excellent in every respect–from transports, ticketing and trains, to hotel locations and staff, tours and guides, restaurants and suggested activities. I'm so glad I worked with KimKim to plan my trip around Morocco. It was so comforting to work with a team that knows the country to handle logistics, hotel recommendations & bookings, and setting us up with local guides. There are so many things that we wouldn't have known to ask for that were included in our itinerary, like a stop to feed capuchin monkeys on our way to Merzouga, and the trip was so much better because of these things.

We are especially grateful to our driver, Samir, who was great to talk to, always on time, and very patient as our luggage expanded throughout the tour. He was a huge part of what made this trip outstanding. We knew we were in good hands with Samir from the very first day when he met us with a smile at the airport, and we really appreciated all of the insights he gave us into Morocco and its culture.

We also had wonderful experiences with our city tour guides, Shafir in Fes and Hanan in Marrakech. They were both so knowledgeable, helpful, and generous with their time. Our time in the desert at Tiziri Camp was so wonderful, the whole team there made us feel welcomed and cared for as individuals even when there were 10 other guests.

I cannot recommend KimKim or its partners enough!

We had the pleasure of meeting Shafir in Fes for a walking tour. Fes is a complicated city to navigate and it was impressive to see Shafir leading us through the narrowest streets without even a glance at a navigation device. He was full of useful information, took us to meet the most skilled artisans, and helped us understand the city and its history. It was a long day of walking but it really flew by as we peeked into mosques, explored the Medrasa Al-Attarine, and took photos at the palace gates.

Italy was absolutely stunning! We decided to only tour Sicily and I’m so glad we did! Bastien helped to book everything we needed to perfection! We did a private tour around Palermo but I have to say I think I would recommend the hop on hop off bus for that instead. A must see tour is with Dario to Mount Pellegrino and Mondello beach! It was STUNNING! Seeing the cave where the relics of the patron saint of Sicily were found was unforgettable! All the villas and hotels that were booked were amazing and no issues! People were so nice there even with speaking minimal Italian and the food was to die for!!! Agrigento was by far one of my favorite days of the trip seeing the Ancient Greek ruins! The BnB Villa Maiolica was one of our quickest stays but most welcoming! They had the best and freshest breakfast it was amazing! Most of the other breakfast offered with the hotels were mediocre! Ragusa was such an amazing little area with unreal gelato and beautiful scenery! We spent an afternoon in Marsala which was so cute and great shopping! We did a day boat trip to Favignana and that had some stunning beaches and cliffs! The Salt roads were unbelievable at sunset! It was so cool to see all the natural salt and how it is harvested!The way that Bastien worked to make this the most unforgettable trip catered to exactly what we wanted was amazing! I was also traveling with my 3 year old and he worked around that to make it the best trip while incorporating a child! I continue to recommend kimkim to everyone I speak with! Truly unreal experience! All to places that I would have never thought or known to book! Even a local found out about things we were doing and he said that’s not a normal tourist stop and I love that you’re seeing true Sicily! We had the best time!! Thank you KimKim and Bastien!!!

Such a sweet Villa! The people who run it were amazing! The breakfast was the freshest we had the whole time in Italy! This is a MUST!!! Such an amazing experience! Dario was truly so great! He took us to the top of the mountain where we went inside the mountain to see where the relic of the patron saint of Sicily was found! It was one of the most moving things I have ever seen! The whole trip was excellent, Crete is a beautiful island. We excursions that were booked for us were great. The tour of seven villages ended being a private tour for the four of us and our driver/guide Nikos was excellent. We quite enjoyed the Trip Imbros Gorge, an amazing place to walk. It was unfortunate that our trip to the Samaria Gorge was cancelled but greatly appreciated Lea’s prompt notification of this and the alternatives she provided to us. All and all the trip was great as was KimKim’s help.

The trip was very well planned and over 17 days we spent time in every main city in the country as well as went to the Sahara, Atlas Mountains and the coasts. Kimkim works with local travel companies and the one they used for our trip in Morocco, Original Travels, put together a great journey that expanded in the planning stage with my desire to include Tangier and add 2 free days in Marrakech. We had a private trip with our own driver/guide every day for just my friend and myself - each with our own hotel/riad room every night - for 17 days for about $5000 (plus tips). AMAZING!!

We had a fantastic hiking guide for the Monkey’s Fingers canyon hike! It was beautiful and thrilling and even though my leg hurt from the camel accident 2 days earlier, especially on the uphill part, I focused on the great experience. I could not have done the hike without our guide, who used his feet as ledges etc. And afterwards, we had a tagine lunch at the home he shares with his sister, who made the delicious lunch, and her husband.

Transfer from Fes to Merzouga via Erfoud & Camel Ride

It was a great experience except that I was given a juvenile camel and a very young “handler” and when it came time to get back on the camel after our “break” in the middle of our 2-hour trek, I had an “accident.” The handler did not control the young camel and before I was fully on the camel, it started standing up with me hanging off. I fell off and then another handler came over, but neither even attempted to control the camel and the same thing happened again - and while half on, the camel rose up and after trying to hang on, I fell off again. They swapped out camels and with a now-injured leg, I got on and finished the ride (because I’m tough!). I was able to do everything on the trip after that, including hiking down and up the Monkey’s Fingers canyon, walk about 6 miles a day. etc but my leg hurt the rest of the trip and it turned not just black and blue but much of it turned black! I will include a photo below.

We had the most amazing two weeks in Italy. Melanie listened to what was important to us and what activities we liked and planned the perfect trip. She kept us fully informed in the months leading up to the trip but even more important was the support she gave us during the trip. She took the time to send us a welcome message, offer her services while we were travelling around and even sent through an outline of the day every morning with all the vouchers and timelines that we needed for that day. This extra service ensured that we had everything at hand that we needed and nothing was left to chance. She suggested restaurants and other activities that we might be interested in, she checked ferry timetables for us and sent us best wishes/farewell messages when we were leaving. Melanie was an integral part of what made our short time in Italy so enjoyable - we can't recommend her enough!

This was our 2nd time using kimkim; it's unlikely there will be a 3rd time.

We made clear when we planned this trip we wanted 4 rooms in Florence and 3 rooms in Rome (we were a group of 6 for 6 nights, and 5 for 3 nights). Kimkim only booked us 3 rooms in Florence, and we had to pay extra, at the last minute, for a fourth room which we were only able to secure for 2 of 4 nights in Florence. In Rome, we learned just before departing for Italy that kimkim had booked us only one room; thus, at the last minute, we had to pay way too much just to get a 2nd tiny room that three grown women had to share. This was a major error by kimkim.

In each Italian location, we had to pay an additional amount for "city taxes" about which kimkim never told us; they absolutely should have told us about this ahead of time.

Kimkim booked us on several tours. Some were very good, but too many of the booked tours were unsatisfactory because the guide was poor, the tour itself was just bad, or the audio quality was quite poor. There were instances where kimkim didn't provide detail where to go for the tour, told us incorrect start times, or provided incorrect travel times to get to the tour.

Given the money we paid, we didn't expect to take any tours with other people, but in two instances we were provided poor quality tours with at least 15 additional people. A tour of the Vatican was promoted as a 3 hour tour, but was only 2 hours, and we felt VERY rushed. Moreover, the guide failed to take us to St. Peter's Basilica, which we believe should be the highlight of any Vatican tour.

The driver Kimkim scheduled to take us to the Rome airport at 6:30 am failed to show up, causing us to scramble and squeeze into a tiny taxi. Multiple times during the trip, including when we attempted to figure out why the driver didn't show up, kimkim failed to answer its own after-hours "emergency line", which was absolutely inexcusable.

Bottom line ... for the substantial amount we paid, we expected a dramatically better experience.

We used KimKim for a trip to Croatia two years ago and had a wonderful experience. To the extent we had any issues, our Croatian kimkim travel agent gave us her phone number so that if/when we had issues, we had instant contact with her. Kimkim Italy did not provide us with similar information causing us much stress when we had issues.

Kimkim should be highly embarrassed about our experience. To make up for its errors, kimkim ultimately gave us about a 3% refund of the amount we paid ... ridiculously inadequate.

We created beautiful memories in Greece due to the hard work and organization of our loyal and dedicated people at Kim Kim. Not just planning our day to day activities, but providing transportation by private car, airplane or ferry to these activities or islands were taken care of. Our responsibilities just included having fun . Antonis of Kim Kim booked the most beautiful and accommodating hotels for us in Athens, Naxos and Santorini. Each hotel, was walking distance to restaurants and shopping. We were updated everyday about the day's agenda and who would be meeting us at our hotel to bring us to various activities. Any questions or concerns that we may have come across, was just a call away via What's App. We are forever grateful to the care and attention used to plan our trip, because you truly created a dream trip for the 4 of us. Greece is too beautiful and amazing to risk missing out on what the country offers. We were in great hands, and we wholeheartedly credit Kim Kim and Antonis for that. Thank you and see you soon!

This was an interesting tour. When in Porto, you have to do a Port tour, and this one fit the bill. It wasn't particularly memorable, but I'm glad to have experienced it.

I had the most wonderful 6-day trip organised by Francisco via KimKim. As a solo traveller, I was a bit nervous, but Fransisco ensured I had a safe, action-packed trip through Chile and Bolivia. All logistics were taken care of. The tours were great, with guides who spoke English. The driver was safe when touring through Bolivia.

I would definitely refer my friends/family to Francisco for help in planning their trip in South America!

After initial correspondence with Tomaz, Grand Cuvée Tours put together a great itinerary, both making suggestions and taking on board any requests that we had. Any queries were answered promptly. We ended up with a trip that was exactly what we hoped for. There were days free for us to explore Bled at the start and Ljubljana at the end. In both locations we were given advice on activities and advance bookings were made for us for boat trips. This was particularly useful in Bled where boats to the island were otherwise full with tour groups. We were lucky that Vintgar Gorge was still open and was well worth a visit. We also enjoyed the funicular up to the castle in Ljubljana which was fascinating to explore.
For two days in the middle of our short holiday we had a brilliant driver, Urh, who couldn't be faulted. The drive through the mountains to Kranjska Gora was breathtaking with the added bonus of wall to wall sunshine and fabulous autumn colours. We continued to Velika Korita in the Soca Valley which was equally stunning. The crystal clear turquoise water in both places was beautiful. We also experienced delicious cheese and wine tasting stops on our journey to Piran on the coast. We had the morning to explore Piran before Urh drove us to Ljubljana via stops at the extraordinary Skocjan Caves and then Kobilarna Lipica to see the white horses at the Lipizzaner stud.
All three of our hotels (3star boutique) had helpful and friendly staff, were in great locations and were very comfortable.
All in all a fantastic job by everyone involved.

A very comfortable hotel with only a short walk to the city centre and riverside. Friendly and helpful staff. A La Carte breakfast, ordered the night before. Bistro incorporated so that food and drinks were available to purchase throughout the day.

A very comfortable hotel in a great location overlooking the main plaza and a stone's throw from the harbour. Friendly and helpful staff. Good buffet breakfast. A slight issue with the plumbing in our room was dealt with swiftly.

A lovely way to get to the island. Nice to ride on a traditional boat. Time was limited to 45mins on the island and it would have been nice to have had longer as there was quite a lot to see.

We were lucky to be the only visitors on the tour. Our guide was clearly passionate about the horses and we learnt a lot from her. It was fortunate that we saw the mares and foals returning to the stables at the end of the afternoon as our visit was late in the season and we weren't able to see a show or any stallions out training. We did get lovely close-up views of horses in their stalls.

From the moment we contacted Jay and discussed what we wanted from the trip we felt comfortable. Would the weather be favourable and what would the cost for different levels of accommodation be? His responses were quick and detailed with the pros and cons.
All of our guides throughout the trip were local to the cities/areas we were visiting, therefore their knowledge was passionate and very informative. Assisting us with ATM's, best angles for photos, correct etiquette in temples and purchasing entry tickets on our behalf.
Choice of accommodation was amazing! We were blown away with the level of service from the moment we arrived, front desk, restaurant and cleaning staff.
Our driver for the majority of our trip was Mr Powan Dixit. He took great care of us. Ensuring we were informed of pickup times, checking we had all our belongings at all times, plenty of water each day and taking us to the local supermarket and laundry pickup on our way home. We had lots of laughs and good fun with Mr Powan Dixit.
Our driver in Varanasi, Mr Nedridge (spelling probably not right), went out of his way to help us with laundry and posting our postcards while we were sight seeing. Again we were taken good care of.
The company representatives in each city/area met us on arrival at the airports and accommodation ensuring a seamless check in and that we were happy with our room. They traveled with us airport departures, guiding us to the correct entrance and helping with entry tickets where necessary at the outside security area.
We would highly recommend KimKim and Bespoke India Holidays.

Mar designed our itinerary perfectly! The hotels were great and in best locations. She promptly responded to my questions and concerns.
