It was not what we were expecting. Pretty boring and too long. Didn’t seem like the guy telling us about the one really cared about it.

Great location, just two blocks from Sloane Square with easy Tube access and fantastic eateries nearby. Good breakfast, friendly and helpful staff, and excellent rooms.

Small with lots of character

The driver hadn't been advised of the suggested itinerary, the city was clogged with soccer fans, and being jet lagged, we weren't feeling great, but he adapted and showed us a few notable places.

Great to have a Blue Badge Guide along to show us around and point out details. There's so much history and beauty within these walls.

The National Railway is great!

Nick was excellent! So fun and knowledgeable, and paced perfectly. He even made special goody bag knowing we had teenagers in our family. He arranged lunch and it was fun to dine with him and become better acquainted. And he pointed out a few things to do after our time with him ended.

So glad we had Nick along to guide our visit

The museum staff provide enthusiastic historical site interpretations in full costume. Lots to discover here.

Patricia definitely knew the schedule and didn't have us wasting time waiting. We saw the changing of the guard en route from St. James to Buckingham as well as the guard at the nearby barracks, traversing some lovely gardens en route.

We would have liked to slow down a bit, but we were scheduled up to closing time. Patricia helped us see the highlights.

By this point in our trip, we'd seen multiple cathedrals, so we asked Patricia for the "highlights" version and she excelled

Debbie is a steward at Windsor and helped us avoid crowds and told wonderful personal stories.

Our visit was perhaps not all our guide had planned, due to testing at the various colleges.

Our tent was fantastic. It was very luxurious, with private outdoor pool, air conditioning, bath, and very nice amenities. We could see wildlife from our balcony across the field. The guides are amazing and we saw the Big 5 and many more. Food was great and the staff was really nice.

This is in a very safe and gated area. The apartment was very luxurious with everything included. It may be a little bit difficult to drive in the reception. Our driver for the full day drive had to wait for us at a different location on the premise.

Great location! Easy walking to everything and a very unique and historical building.

The staff were courteous and attentive, the food was amazing and the views and adjacent running/hiking paths were breathtaking. We also took advantage of the gym and the wonderful pools.

The food was fantastic and the wine pairings were spot on. The best part was the brief tour of the vineyards and the background information on the unique soil and climate that make the Algarve region such a distinctive wine region.

Cordoba was a fascinating city with an interesting history. The old town was beautiful and it was enjoyable to stroll and meander through the alleys and narrow streets.

An older mansion converted into a hotel. No elevators. Great fun. Good pub and very nice breakfast.

Crazy wet room for a bathroom. Water went everywhere. Otherwise, nice room. Good breakfast in the morning.

Lovely hotel with a great location. Staff at breakfast is a bit unprepared. But the breakfast is good. Nice bar in the evening. Bit of a water issue in the bathroom with the shower water going all over. Has a small elevator which is a plus with a big bag.

Wow! Regan came through and got us tickets after ours were originally cancelled. For anyone who loves Harry Potter and trains, this is a great trip. The scenery was wonderful.

This was a great tour of the castle. The guide inside the castle was very good and knowledgeable. The gardens were beautiful. The cafe was lovely.

Our guide Gareth did a great job considering the rain and the crowds. Very interesting facts.

Amazing place. The restaurant was unbelievably good. Fun walk into town.

Hotel was in a great location in San Blas. I recommend spending a few, unscheduled days in Cusco to walk around, explore the neighborhoods, and get used to the altitude.

Busy area of Porto, so you have to want to be where the action is. Balcony room a must. River view adds so much. Fantastic breakfast and staff.

Boutique hotel next to their much larger hotel in the center of Lisbon’s tourist area. Great staff. Smallish room without any view. OK breakfast.

WOW! What a beautiful property. Access to the ocean. Indoor/outdoor pools. Amazing breakfast in beautiful restaurants with outdoor eating in the gardens. Great room with ocean views. Short walk to downtown.

Driver just OK. Did adapt to our requests but didn’t adapt to issues in Cascais and never got to Estoril.

Two great hikes and tour of the old city.

Guide was great. Tour was a good introduction to the city. She took us to ethnic food areas that were outstanding. It is unlikely that we would have discovered these intimate areas.

Cooking lunch with Chef Sara Verde in her restaurant was a highlight of this trip. She was a wonderful host.

Great investigation of the Northwestern part of Madeira. A little too much time in the 4X4. Longer stops would be better.

An immersive jungle experience! The staff at Maquenque make an already impressive location become a top-rated experience. Staff are friendly, multilingual, and helpful. They organized a cooking class with a chef. This was our favorite activity here! My kids helped collect scallions, eggs, herbs, corn, cocao pods, and more to use in our meal. The chef and Andres guided us through making yuca mash, patacones, corn tortillas with scrambled eggs, and several recipes from the chocolate we made from grinding the seeds. It was all delicious and we have already made the yuca mash at home. A note: the treehouses are a fantastic experience but keep in mind your temperature inside is the same as outside. For us, the rain and high humidity kept all our clothes wet the whole time. It's a good place to bring quick dry clothes or use the laundry service if you stay a few days.

The Casita has everything you can want and need: strong fan kept us comfortable, drying racks are so helpful to dry out wet clothes from rainforest activities, book of local menus and activities, and a great breakfast. Nana was so wonderful to accommodate allergy food needs. She is gluten-free herself and had an array of recipes options for pancakes day with homemade jam, juices, and honey. The trail on the property was also a nice family activity. We even had a sloth living in the tree in front of our Casita. So special!

We loved this Casita! It had everything we needed for our family of 4 to stay and cook. The kitchen allowed us to visit a supermercado and cook our own meals. My kids loved having their own rooms and bathrooms after several days of being in the same car and room at other lodging. The property has a nice set of trails and a little playground for kids. It is located close to everything you want in Monteverde. The staff was helpful when we locked ourselves out of our room (twice!).

This is a hidden gem! The hotel is fancy and sparkling clean. The food is delicious and staff is wonderful. There is a game room which is great for families to have down time outside of the room if weather is wet and cold outside. I hear the view is amazing but we had fog and rain that prevented a view. The space heaters in the room helped us dry our boots. The fireplaces in the library and restaurant kept us warm. My husband and I hope to return.

Good location and nice facilities. The rooftop bar/restaurant has a wonderful view of the Acropolis.

The hotel is very nice. I liked the Amalia better as a location, although this one is actually closer to the Acropolis. It is on a very narrow side street that requires navigating turns to get to a more pedestrian friendly area.

Older hotel, but good and clean. Nice location.

This was a nice hotel across from the beach.

I wrote about the tour guide earlier. We ended up feeling quite ruched to get through the site. As a result, we didn’t get to do what we had really planned — a family race in the stadium.

This hotel is beautiful and the staff was so lovely. I was there on my birthday and they showed up at the door with a bottle of champagne! They also helped me get transportation which lead to a relationship with a company that we used all week. I wish we could have stayed here longer.

Sylvie is an amazing guide -- she gave us a lot of great information and was very kind. Loved walking through the downtown streets in Lima.

Great visit. We enjoyed the presentation and also looking at the stars outside. They guides there was very energetic!

Enjoyable day! We drove for about 2 - 3 hours with Leo and stopped in a few places along the way. The llama experience was incredible where we stopped and got a close up encounter feeding the llamas, vicunas and alpacas. Many thanks to Leo for doing that and for giving us clever photos we could take to make the visit memorable. Also enjoyed the Sacred valley tour and going up the structures. It was incredible and a great preview of Machu Picchu which was the next day.

Spectacular day! I've always known that Machu Picchu is one of the seven wonders of the world and I can see why. It was truly stunning. The travel logistics were very smooth with a car ride, train ride and then bus ride. Train ride with Peru Rail was very comfortable. We really enjoyed the tour with Leo and he gave us detailed explanations of Machu Picchu, Temple of the Sun, Temple for Pachamama etc. He showed us the detail of how the blocks align so well, the irrigation systems etc. -- it was so great to hear the stories from him. Return to Cusco was smooth.

Another great day. The drive to the lake was very smooth and it was fun to stop at a local place to eat in the morning and taste the local food. The hike itself was very nice - Leo was very kind as I was a bit slow (I am 58) and we took our time to get there. Enjoyed chatting with Leo about life, philosophy and our dreams for our families in the future. The lake itself was spectacular.

Leo did a wonderful job giving us a lot of the history and background of the Incas and pre-Inca times. We really enjoyed listening to him as we wanted an immersive experience in the local culture which he provided for us.

This was a special day. Our drive to Rainbow Mountain was great -- it was great to drive through the Andes, see the local villages and people living on the hills. Lots of llamas! Life in the hills is not easy but people seem to be happy and it was nice to see lots of smiles. Rainbow Mountain is 16,000 feet above sea level so it is a low oxygen environment. Having said that, it was great to hike and we took it nice and slow and it was a pleasant experience. The mountain is amazing and the colors are so beautiful - really worth visiting! We got some amazing pictures with llamas up there.

Enjoyed meeting Pablo and the walking tour was excellent. Really enjoyed the stop at the chocolate tasting place. Due to timing of our flights, our tour ended up in the late afternoon which was great because we got to see the city at night and it's beautiful!!

The location was great and the outside pool/dining area nice. It was cool to see all the old architecture. But it seemed old and bathroom was just ok. Seemed more like a 3-4 star not 5 star by USA standards. You will have to stroll your luggage thru the city to get there- about a 5 min walk as no cars allowed.

Such a beautiful hotel. The rooms are on the small side but the whole hotel is gorgeous. The pool area and the views were just amazing.

Everything was great. Hard to imagine it was in the middle of desert. The rooms / tents were big and bathrooms good. The whole experience was great.

The Mövenpick Hotel in Casablanca was super nice. The rooms were really big and more like what we're used to in American hotels. It might have been a bit more than we needed for just one night, but it was a very comfortable stay.

Our stay at Dar Lys was incredible. From the moment we walked in, greeted by the scent of orange blossoms and the sight of parrots, we felt welcome. The room setup was perfect, and the service was outstanding. Breakfast was delightful, and the massages my daughter and I had were among the best we've ever experienced. The downtime they scheduled for us was much appreciated, allowing us to recover from our travels. This riad set a high standard for the rest of our trip.

The tour of the Hassan II Mosque was great. The guide kept us on time, and the experience was smooth and well-organized. The mosque itself is stunning and definitely worth the visit.

The dinner at the Moroccan home was okay. The family was hospitable, and the food was fine, but the experience felt a bit awkward. It was interesting but not something I would want to repeat multiple times.

The journey from Fez to the Sahara Desert was long but surprisingly pleasant. Our driver was excellent, making regular stops for us to stretch and use clean bathrooms. We had a great time at the stops, especially at the Alps-like area and where we saw monkeys. One of the lunch stops was not the best, as it seemed overrun with tour buses and wasn't very clean, but it was probably the best option available in that remote area.

The tour guide in Fez was exceptional. He took us on a fascinating journey through the ancient city, and we even had a tea experience that was quite delightful. Although the lunch part of the tour was a bit confusing, as we weren't sure if it was included or not, we decided not to have lunch since we were still full from the huge breakfasts we had. Overall, the experience was insightful and enjoyable.

Great place to stay with kids, amazing pool, activities, and right across the road from the ocean! Comfortable beds, large rooms, lovely house keeping ladies. We loved the Italian restaurant by the pool, friendly waiters and delicious food.

Great captain and guide on board, kept us safe on a choppy sea, but also made sure we got value for money. Friendly, English speaking and fun

We loved this day out, Pepe our driver was so friendly, knowledgeable patient and respectful. We were in safe hands, he was able to offer a range of activities, recommended places for lunch and extra spots of interests to suit our group. Loved Sintra!

Breakfast was excellent and sufficient to keep you energized until dinner as long as there was a pastry stop midday. Only negaive was we had to go outside to get to our room

Tiago made sure our experience was broad a d detailed at the same time. We missed nothing and came away with a broader understanding of what occurred in Spain and Portugal during the inquisiton

The tour was great

We walked around the town and got a feel for the history of the area. Tiago made sure that we got a taste of local food in each of the areas we traveled and we did a lot of walking
