This is a swimmers paradise with 3 pools and the beach. The room was clean and comfortable. The breakfast buffet was unbeatable and we chose to walk the beach at night to the various restaurants on the beach adjoining the property. The front desk was exceptional and helped us print boarding passes and change money. There’s a small 7-11 store across the street for room snacks as well as a pharmacy which I needed . Thai massage is a by the pool too. We only spent 2 nights so it was perfect for our needs, if you’re looking for nightlife , you may want something closer to town. Beautiful views and clean property.

We only had one night here but surprisingly for an airport location, this was a classy hotel . We didn’t have much time here but what we experienced was excellent. We had a great dinner and drinks in the hotel restaurant and the room was quiet and clean and had all we needed. The airport shuttle was a big bonus and they ran on time and we arrived in plenty of time for our flights. Highly recommended it , especially if you’re flying out the next day .

Good location for walking to shop and many restaurants in the area. The employees were friendly and professional and we loved the pool on the roof too. A comfortable stay with no problems .

Supprisingly nice hotel that at one time must have been a grand chateau. The rooms were odd but added to the character of the place. Right in the middle of center city Bordeaux. Pleasant staff. Good breakfast. Tons of restaurants and bars filled with people that enjoyed the area as much as we did.

I loved Marseille I loved the action around the Harbor area and especially the wonderful seafood restaurants. Our tour guide was terrific. Made us feel at home and comfortable with the city. Shared not only the facts of the area but also his personal experiences in Marseille

This small hotel is off of a Piazza that sets up an open air market each day and there are restaurants and shopping there, also. It is down a narrow cobblestone alley/walkway. I know if you are from the US, you may have a little trepidation about these narrow alleyways but this is the norm in Rome. There are shop fronts along these along with service entrances. These are also dimly lit at night, but we never felt unsafe. Many people walk along these routes. Be aware that the taxi would not come down the narrow street and left us off on the main street and then we had to pull our suitcases down to the hotel. Our private driver when we left the hotel managed to get closer to the hotel, but he still had to pull our luggage down the narrow street. The hotel is convenient to a lot of shops and eateries.

Lovely small hotel. Two entrances with one having an elevator so you don’t have to lug your suitcases up a lot of stairs! Clean and the room we occupied had a shower that could fit 10 people! 🤣 The hotel is extremely convenient and but a few steps away from the street that has all the restaurants and shopping but is very quiet. It’s about a 3 min. walk to the jetties where you catch the ferries to Isle of Capri, Positano, Sorrento, etc. for day trips. There’s a small beach to dip your toes into the Mediterranean. Also, they have a laundry service that is quick and reasonable.

Lovely little hotel. Not that hard to find, but you need to keep an eye out for its entrance which is off the street and down a little alleyway. It has a security gate with a code. Room is small but serviceable. Only issue we had was the beds sit on a wooden platform and you can easily wack yourself in the shins! Our room had a lovely private courtyard. The hotel is very close to a water taxi stop which is very convenient.The breakfast is very good.

The Hotel Pendini is located just off the Piazza della Repubblica and close to many sites. It’s a lovely old hotel with a lot of atmosphere and decorated with antiques. The breakfast is outstanding, and the front desk staff very helpful. The room was small which is pretty standard in Europe, but the bathroom was roomy. Even though our room faced a busy street, when the windows were shut, it was very quiet.

If I could give 10 stars, I would. We took a private tour and our guide (MP) was amazing. Her knowledge made our walk through the Vatican so rich in understanding the history of the beginnings of Christianity. Her descriptions of the statues, paintings, tapestries and painted maps that lined great halls was outstanding. She reviewed the frescoes of the Sistine Chapel before we went in (since you cannot speak or take photos in the chapel) which was so informative so we were not only able to admire the glorious masterpieces but understand the symbology behind them. St. Peter’s Basilica is beyond description. Nothing can prepare you for it’s splendor.

The lines to get into the Vatican are extremely looooong if you are just winging it. Would HIGHLY recommend getting a skip the line ticket, even if you don’t do a tour.

One of the highlights. The photos you see in the magazines will never give you the full picture of how colossal this ruin is. Our guide was excellent in taking us to the perfect spots and explaining what actually happened there. The Forum so very interesting as well. The views from Palatine Hill were spectacular. The Forum is not to be missed.

It was a fun gelato tasting tour. We got to sample some yummy stuff and then proceeded along taking in the sites. Rome is crowded even when it’s supposedly a little off season. The unfortunate part was that 2025 is a Jubilee year and many of the fountains were covered with scaffolding for spiffing up in anticipation of the Jubilee. The Pantheon is a must see. We saw Trevi Fountain but there was no water in it, so no tossing of the coins. We also walked to the Spanish Steps. There again, extremely crowded. However, that should not deter one from going. It’s still an amazing city to see.

Wow. The Amalfi coast is stunning. The day we went to Capri, the Mediterranean was very choppy, but that didn’t stop us. We took a small tender out to the larger cabin cruiser and then toured the coastline of Amalfi and Positano before heading out to Capri. Capri, like Positano is steep and there is a lot of walking uphill if you want to get away from the beachfront areas. Well worth the climb for the marvelous views.

Truly amazing how close the Tuscan region is to the heart of Florence. The landscape is picturesque and winding. Vineyards are generational and well run.

It was raging cats and dogs, so even though we had skip the line tickets for a specific time, everything was running late. Was it worth the wait and chill? Absolutely!

What a magnificent cathedral. Photos just don’t do it justice.

We saw a glass blowing demonstration and went to the museum. Spectacular glass work. We really loved Burano. In fact, our guided tour allowed for a quick demonstration of the dying art of lace making and the a short period for lunch. We decided to not go back with the tour and spend the rest of the day having a leisurely lunch, shopping and snapping photos of the wonderfully brightly painted houses. Came back on the last ferry of the day.

Venice is a crumbling city of amazing beauty. The canals are its streets and so very different from other cities. It has its own charm like no other. Venice has an amazing water taxi system to get you from point A to point B.

The Floating Market was an incredible experience. I absolutely loved it. It felt like being on a floating island. The hustle and bustle of the market were exciting and unique.

This was the highlight of my adventure !!!Mr. Sophea provided expert knowledge of the complex !!Its hard to comprehend the level of man and animal power to build these structures !

Ms. Thuy was my guide.She was friendly and informative.

The room was so modern and beautiful and had a large patio overlooking the other islands and caldera. The hotel/rooms were built on the side of the cliff so there were many steps. The pool had a beautiful view and there was a bar where you could also order lunch type meals. Food/drinks were great and Chris, the bartender, provided excellent service. Breakfast was also included and very good.

Our room had a patio overlooking the beach and Mediterranean Sea. Room was very clean and fresh. Ate breakfast (included) outside everyday right on the beach and by the water. Food was delicious.

Immaculate room with balcony. Very comfortable, felt like home. Included a delicious breakfast. Rooftop bar and restaurant with views of the Parthenon. Had one of the best meals of my trip at this restaurant.

a lot of steps but worth it. tour guide was very informative and fun. Enjoyed the Acropolis Museum and all the stories about the Gods and Goddesses.

The Nanee in Bhaktapur was a pleasant surprise. Situated in a different neighborhood, it provided a fresh perspective of Kathmandu from our first hotel there. The hotel's tranquil environment was a perfect escape from the bustling city, and it was a pleasure to explore this new area with the same dependable guide.

Barahi Jungle Lodge in Chitwan National Park offered a different atmosphere. The safari experience was exciting, and we saw various wildlife. While the lodge didn't quite match the luxury of the previous hotels, it was definitely comfortable and adequate for the setting.

Tiger Mountain Pokhara Lodge was incredible. The views were breathtaking, especially having breakfast while watching the sunrise over the Himalayas. This lodge was truly a highlight and perfect for some light hiking and relaxation.

The Dwarika’s Hotel in Kathmandu was a fantastic start to our trip. Despite arriving late at night, the pickup from the airport was smooth, and the hotel itself felt like an oasis in the city.

The stay in Valldal Fjordhotell was not as comfortable as we had hoped. All four of us were booked into one cabin, which posed a significant problem as two of us would have needed to sleep upstairs where there was limited headroom and a steep ladder to climb. This setup was not practical given our needs.

The cruise along the fjords up to Tromsø was lovely, even though much of it occurred at night. The Hurtigruten cruise provides a pleasant and leisurely experience, primarily catering to moving tourists along Norway's captivating coastline.

Our trip on the Flåm Railway was somewhat enjoyable but felt a bit too commercialized for our liking. While the ride itself is lovely, Flåm as a location seems overly focused on tourism.

Dog sledding with carts was a very fun experience! The dogs were eager and happy, constantly ready to go. Despite being hard work, it was a lot of fun and memorable.

The hotel we stayed in Sydney was right down in the middle of walking distance to everything, which was great!

Spending the night on the Oceanquest was a once-in-a-lifetime experience. The accommodation was comfortable, and being surrounded by the reef was surreal. It was an incredible way to immerse ourselves in the beauty of the Great Barrier Reef.

The Pacific Hotel Cairns was a great base for our adventures in Cairns. It was conveniently located within walking distance to many restaurants and shops along the waterway. The hotel was also very close to where we boarded the boat for our Great Barrier Reef adventure, making it extremely convenient.

Tia had arranged a private driver to take us to the train station, We just had to show our information on the KimKim app(New Zealand Touring Company) to receive the train ticket and ticket for the Skyrail. Nicely maintained "old style" train cars with narrated information of places passed and history of the railroad in that area. Post train ride we were in the mountain village of Kuranda that offered a butterfly farm, a koala viewing area (they had other animals as well), a bird aviary ,, shops and restaurants. When we were done walking around, eating and seeing the sights, we got on the Skyrail for the trip back down the mountain. The skyrail makes a few stops where you can get out and look at a large waterfall we saw from the train earlier.

This was my husband's 65th birthday wish, to dive the Great Barrier Reef...He was NOT disappointed ! Coral for the most part was healthy and colorful, not too many larger fish, many small ones, the occasional turtle or shark. Meals were simple and the cook was very open about giving a different option to those with dietary restrictions. When we were on board there were 3 different classes going on, one group becoming dive masters, one learning more about rescue diving and one getting open water certification. Mixed ages, more younger then older ,every body was welcomed with same enthusiasm by the crew. We had the opportunity to do 2 more dives that day, then we were given lunch and our bags were transported back to the other boat first, then we were assisted over. My husband did 7 dives over this two day trip, I did 5 and a snorkel trip .back on the transfer boat fresh fruit was offered as well as other snacks ,some for a fee.

We got picked up from our hotel (but the Pacific Hotel is maybe 3 short blocks from the dock, we could have walked), boarded the boat at the dock, seemed quite crowded. We went for a short ride then whoever wanted to dive could get outfitted with gear (after filling out liability/medical questionnaire) or snorkel. We stopped two places on the reef , beautiful. Snacks onboard included muffins, fresh fruit. Coffee, tea, and a few other items were for purchase. There was a photographer onboard who dove and took pictures,made later for sale at a reasonable price, beautiful quality. After the second stop, those of us who were going to spend the night on the reef with Diver's Den were taken to a point where we were assisted from one boat to the other. Safety briefing aboard catamaran done, rooms assigned, safety rules presented. Daytime dive/snorkel opportunities offered. A night dive was available as well as "sharks in the dark" for those who wished to use a mask and snorkel and stay on the dive platform to see the fish and sharks at night.

We were picked up from the hotel a little later than we had planned, had to have desk staff call tour operator for us ( about 25 minutes late). river ride was fine but no crocodiles for us to see, oh well. The Daintree rainforest and Cape Tribulation was beautiful, unspoiled wilderness. The guide told us 'it's where the rainforest meets the sea". We also got a stop for beautiful pictures and free sample (3 scoops!) of homemade ice cream made in the area from fruit.

Tia had arranged this flight for us on Jetstar airlines, flight from Sydney was on time and full. When we arrived in Cairns, there was a private driver waiting for us at baggage claim, again, perfect timing !

So, initially our room was not ready (we arrived around 10AM,it wasn't to be ready until 2) hotel staff kept our bags for us and gave us guest passes to access the zoo from a "retreat" entrance (this particular gate not available to non guest of the retreat). When room was ready, the AC didn't work, however, the staff quickly found a different room, same view for us. Check out was around 11 , staff again kept our bags for us and allowed us guest access to the zoo again.

If you like animals, this was an amazing opportunity to see and learn more about them from the zoo staff. The retreat is located in the middle of the zoo ,which is located at the end of a community of "high end" homes. The rooms are spacious and have a great view of different parts of the zoo. I got up early in the morning and actually saw a koala bear right outside our room! Close enough to get a few great pictures but not close enough to touch.

Good way to get an overview of Sydney. We explored Manly beach the day before on our own(took public ferry from Sydney harbor), saw Bondi beach with the Big bus tour, had the opportunity to see many parts of the city we would not otherwise would have had time to get to. The only partially negative point would be if you change lines on the bus, you need to pay attention to the times of last trip offered.

Very comfortable room. Excellent location close to the many attractions including the Coliseum and the Vitoria Emanuel monument.

Fabulous view down to the sea. Walking distance to just about everything. Very helpful staff.

Although our room did not have a great view, it was lovely and the staff was very helpful. The location was good.

We had visited some crypts in Portugal and this was very similar and interesting. The tour of the crypt seemed a bit rushed, but the catacombs tour was outstanding.

Simona, our guide really enhanced this visit. She had a wealth of knowledge to share with us making the visit very enjoyable. We had been to the Colosseum many years before without a guide and this was so much better.

The road is very crooked and the traffic is intense, but it was worth it to see Amalfi and Ravello. Our driver was very good and there were lots of great sights to see.

Marco, our boat captain was wonderful, friendly and enjoyable to be with. He was an excellent captain and got us into the Blue Grotto with minimal hassles in spite of the large number of people waiting to enter.

Pompeii was so amazing. Mt Vesuvius was fun to walk to the summit and to see the crater and the winery tour was great. The wine was good as was the food.

Another must-do activity when visiting Interlaken! Our guide was super knowledgeable, took us through the picturesque villages in and around Interlaken and the alpine lakes. This is definitely the best way of exploring the town and experiencing the local culture than driving through. We had two little kids who could sit in the cargo attached to one of our bikes so we could all experience this as a family.

Absolutely recommend this for families with little children! It was educational, interactive and they walk away from the workshop with bars of chocolate they created. Our entire family loved this and our kids wouldn't stop talking about it for days after. Don't forget to grab some chocolate covered strawberries and a cup of hot chocolate from the cafe on your way out.

Loved this quaint hotel on the top of the mountain. The view from our room was looking out over Nafplio and the water. Absolutely stunning. The staff was so courteous and helpful and the breakfast was delicious with homemade breads, eggs, fruit and yogurt. We loved the location and loved exploring Nafplio and swimming in the sea. It may be a difficult hotel to stay in for someone with mobility issues as there are a lot of stairs. We would definitely stay here again. Loved it!

Loved this hotel and the view from the restaurant was the Acropolis in the background! The staff was amazing and courteous. The rooms were very spacious and clean and the breakfast was an incredible spread of pastries, eggs, fruit, cereals, yogurt, etc. The location was also very central to everything we wanted around Plaka. Would definitely stay here again.

Loved this hotel. Was in a great location and we had a nice balcony that looked over the shopping area of Chania (which was fun) AND it was super quiet.

Ms Zakia was incredible! She knows Greek history so well. She had a fun way of incorporating the old and the new history and had a delightful personality. We learned so much about the Acropolis and loved walking through the back streets and maneuvering through crowds. I would definitely recommend taking a tour with her!

This was a nice tour of the 7 villages. It was informative and the guide was knowledgeable about local customs. We enjoyed seeing the ruins and the old church in the cave. I wish I had known that there is a lot of time in the van and that we would be stopping to eat 4 times ( coffee, bread sampling, cheese sampling and lunch) . The tour lasted about 7 hours.

The staff were welcoming, attentive and friendly and our twin room with city views was spacious and comfortable. The art deco style through out the hotel was charming and it is conveniently located within walking distance of shops, cafes and the waterfront precinct.
