We had a wonderful trip and planning it was super easy! We had 4 different drafts before we settled on one we loved. Dat was great about communicating the changes and answering questions as we planned. He even made sure the visas we got for both countries were correct.

Transfers: All pickups and drops off went smoothly! It was so nine knowing those logistics were taken care of. It was great to have the domestic airline tickets booked as well. We simply had to show up at the right time and be transported to the next spot.

Highlights
Hanoi: Tam Coc River tour was amazing! I would suggest people bring a hat or umbrella as it was super hot!
Bahn Mi 25 - best sandwich we have had! We went two times!
Dal Vostro Hotel - this was the best hotel we stayed at and the best breakfast we had on the whole trip. The rooms were great and the staff was so incredibly helpful and kind!

Sapa: trekking is a must! I do wish we would have realized how muddy it got on parts of the trail. I would have brought shoes that I did not care about ruining. Thankfully we were able to get them washed for $2 in town! This was such a beautiful place and the people we met along the way were lovely. We had an amazing lunch at red Dzao house and got a foot massage after trekking for $6. We did not do the part of the itinerary about spending time in the Dzay village. Once we arrived there, we got in the car and left. It was disappointing. Hotel was great - not as friendly as the one in Hanoi.

Ha Long Bay - AMAZING! Doris cruises were so wonderful! The rooms are huge and the lunch they served upon arriving was outstanding. We got to kayak and swim. I was stunned by the scenery and the small cruise made the experience personal.

Ho Chi Minh - we learned so much while we were here. The War Museum and Cu Chi Tunnels - while hard, were well worth the time. Johnathan our tour guide was great! Dinner at Propaganda was a highlight! The hotel was ok. It was right across from a nightclub, so the first night was really loud. The breakfast was ok - nothing special.
Mekong Delta was awesome! Again, we learned so much! Watching the coconut candy get made was fun. We brought some home to share. The set lunch was not good at all. It was a lot of food that didn't taste that great.

Phnom Penh - The Killing Fields and S-21 were really heavy places to visit, but also necessary. Our guide was helpful. It was really special to meet 4 of the survivors of S-21. We had an amazing dinner at Eleven - one & at The Titanic. Our hotel was great! Getting a tuk tuk was easy and able to walk to restaurants!

Siem Reap - We LOVED our guide - Narong! He was so funny, helpful and taught us a lot! He is also a sharp dresser! He and the driver took such good care of us with cold water and cold wipes, especially after a hot day at Angor Wat. The hotel was lovely - and the massages are heavenly! We had a wonderful dinner at Haven and at Mesa. Lunch was supposed to be included on the Angor Wat day - but our guide said it wasn't. The lunch place was good!

Overall it was an amazing trip! Here are a few things we felt could be improved upon:
1. The lunches on the group tours (private tours was great) were disappointing. It just wasn't good food.
2. There were 2 things on our itinerary we did not do - one in Sapa and one in Tam Coc - disappointing.
3. Be clear about what meals are included.
4. It was hard to communicate with Dat once we were in country. There were times we reached out via whatsapp and had to follow up because we didn't hear back from him. There was also an urgent matter he had to attend to which is fine, but it would have been nice to have a back up number.
5. I might chose a different hotel in Ho Chi Minh City - because of the nightclub.

Our family trip to Scotland was a complex undertaking, as we were a large group of 20 people of varying ages. I can well imagine that many hours were spent on our behalf to make the trip so wonderful. Everything went smoothly and I can not think of a single negative issue . Our driver, Ricky, and guide Keith took care of so many details behind the scenes, and delivered an exceptional experience.. The hotels and restaurants chosen were all beyond our expectations. We did so very many things that were enjoyed by all. The Reindeer Herd excursion was one of my favorites. The scenery on the hill was spectacular. We also very much enjoyed the Family Highland Games at Rothiemurchus Estate, even in the pouring rain we managed to have great fun together. We had two very unique and special requests that went off without a hitch. The first was a professional photoshoot in front of Cawdor Castle. Karen Thorburn went above and beyond to provide us all with wonderful professional portraits. And also, we were grateful for the special effort made by our guide Keith, to visit the house in which my husband was born, and for us all to snap a photo at the door. Thank you for all you did to manage this trip for us. You will be highly recommended.

We had an absolutely amazing trip to Morocco. Thanks for arranging a fantastic itinerary Majid. Our driver, Moha was one of the BEST driver and guide we have had through many trips my husband I have taken over the world. H not only was he friendly, informative, and safe driver, he made us feel at home and gave us a lot of insight to Moroccan culture.
We had very prompt and great guides in all the places we visited with our favorite in Fez and Volubulis.
The stay in the beautiful resort town of Bin el Ouidane was very memorable and highly recommended. The resort was beautiful with charming suite/ views and people. Our dinner meal prepared vegetarian had the best Tagine in Morocco and other dishes were also very good.
Riad Larroussa in FEZ with green room was stunning. The staff there was absolutely fantastic and very gracious. We even enjoyed the Hamam and massages there.
Same for Riad Lina at Chefchaouen- the women staff there were so nice and attentive- they also accommodated and made great vegetarian meal. we had a great time there.
The Villa Mandarine in Rabat was a charming quiet resort away from the Medina with lovely art work and beautifully decorated rooms.
Casablanca Sofitel staff was also very friendly and gracious and we had a wonderful view of the mosque and city from our room on the 15 th floor.
Majid and Moha thank you again for making our Morocco trip one of the most memorable, fun and relaxing trip ever.
We will highly recommend and hopefully ( Insha Allah) get to work with you and Moha again in our future trip to Morocco.

The trip itself was excellent, the local guides were top-notch and the recommendations for sites to visit, activities, etc. were great. We really loved the trip, especially the local guides for Edinburgh, Inverness, the Aviemore nature trip and Culoden Battlefield.

The planning for the trip could have been better. Some activities were originally scheduled too closely together to be logistically feasible, the arrival date was incorrect on the itinerary despite us clearly indicating the correct date, and there seems to be some issues with reflecting hotel stay dates accurately in the itinerary. Re the trip itself, the only disappointment was the hotel in Aviemore, which was dilapidated, inconvenient (no elevator…) and uncomfortable (very tight room).

We have a very wonderful triple experience by the travel provided by Andian travel through KimKim.
At first all the tour guide are passionate and well knowledgeable and the experienced so we got a lot of information through this trip about Peru.
The arrangement of accommentation cannot be more comfortable and luxury, safe, while at a comparative reasonable price.

The transfer between different sight seeing spots is very well connected and safe.

At last but not the least, the service from Liz is very good and well experienced, all our friends are very satisfied with this travel. thank you very much.

Dalia planned a wonderful trip for our large group- 8 people, 4 adults and 4 young kids. She was friendly and quick to respond to questions and change requests. I will recommend Dalia to anyone that wants to plan a trip to Spain or Portugal.

Our favorite place we stayed was The Lisboans Apartments in Lisbon- centrally located, luxurious, a stocked kitchen, and they delivered fresh squeezed orange juice and fresh pastries every morning.

All the car transfer drivers were friendly and had large, clean cars/buses.

Algarve's Marine Wildlife Boat Tour

This was just ok. Algarve is of course beautiful and recommend seeing it by boat! This tour company was somewhat friendly. We saw one small dolphin but no other wildlife. The boat does not stop to look around at any time. We had to drive almost 2 hours to get to this boat but there looked to be the same type of boat tour that left right from the beach at our hotel.

Great tour! Kahlid was exceptional and I’d recommend asking for him specifically. You spend a lot of time with your driver and he was attentive, knowledgeable, always available and friendly.
We loved Fes the most. The riad there was exceptional - maison bleue. We also loved white camel lodge.
Skip the camel ride and keep Chefchouen to a day trip or at the most one overnight. Also, the hammam at the El Saadi wasn’t great which was recommended by tour. We loved hammam de la rose right across from the Bahia Palace and would encourage you to suggest this place!
Wanderlust staff was always available and made changes easily on the fly.
We loved our time in Morocco!!!

My mother, my sister and I had an excellent trip thanks to the planning and help of Fernanda from Global Tourisme. The hotels were welcoming and comfortable. The guided tours were all excellent, with interesting guides who spoke perfect Spanish as we requested. We visited Toronto, Montreal, Ottawa and Quebec City and it was perfect! Thank you so much.

Our family enjoyed a beautiful vacation to the French Riviera & Provence with an extension to Cinque Terre and Milan. We didn’t have much time to plan our trip and were relieved to rely on the experience and advice pf our local guide, Mathilde. She provided exceptional service, was very communicative, (including phone calls), and helped us explore areas we might not have found on our own. While we knew we wanted to see Verdon Gorge, we were thrilled and delighted by our stay at La Bastide de Moustiers. The grounds, rooms and amazing restaurant left us wanting more. WONDERFUL 10 day trip to Rwanda!!! Agnes at Kim Kim did a great job in putting together an exciting itinerary. Throughout our 10 days , we had an incredible driver/guide, Peter. There were four of us in a very comfortable van.

My wife and I have visited 72 countries. Peter was the best driver/guide that we’ve ever had. We spent time touring Kigali. Drove to Akagera National Park for a boat ride observing crocodiles and tropical birds. We had a full day safari…seeing the “Great 5”, including a “behind the scenes” tour of animal tracking and poaching prevention efforts.

The absolute highlight was the trek in Volcanoes National Park to see the gorillas! A moderately challenging 90 minute climb (I’m 76 yrs old) before we arrived at a family of gorillas! Beyond our expectations!!! We spent an hour observing adolescent and adult gorillas, sometimes getting as close as 10-12 feet. Very helpful trackers and porters to carry your backpack, if you would like ($10 a porter)

On another day, we visited Nyungwe to see the chimpanzees. Another unforgettable experience. The canopy walk, about 20 stories above the rainforest, was a nice added experience.

Peter was professional, fun to be with, and very flexible. He gladly fit in all of our shopping and side trips. He made our Rwanda adventure very, very special.

This is the second time I’ve used KimKim. I highly recommend them.

Volcanoes National Park Gorilla Trek

Moderately challenging climb (90 minutes) to see this particular family of gorillas. The length of the trek depends on the location of the gorillas. Absolutely exceeded my expectations. Close viewing of adolescents, adults, and a silverback, outstanding guides and trackers. For $10 you can get a helpful porter to carry your backpack and to hold your and help you trek, if you would like this assistance.

I have to be SUPER honest, I was very skeptical about using a travel agent as I have always researched and booked our trips myself. But this was the first time I was traveling internationally on a mother/daughter trip and wanted everything to go a smooth as possible. I chose kimkim because of all the excellent reviews. From start to finish I have been exceptionally pleased with my entire experience with them.
Kimkim connected me with Chris Leontopoulos who was fantastic! He was very responsive to any and all questions. He helped set up all the excursions we wanted. I loved where all the hotels were located - very central to everything we were wanting to see and easy to walk everywhere. The private transfers from the airport was a nice touch I wouldn’t have originally set up on my own - but arriving at a foreign airport/train station with a driver ready to take us to our next destination without all the hassle? Priceless! And made us feel extra safe traveling on our own.
I also liked the use of the WhatsApp to communicate if any snafus occur during your trip. We had one driver waiting at the wrong location and were able to remedy that within 10 minutes by texting and dropping our location. Very cool!
I will absolutely be using Kimkim in the future! Thank you!

We just got home from an incredible trip around Taiwan with Clint, and I can't speak more highly of him and the whole kimkim experience. We used kimkim to help us plan a week-long trip for our family of 6 around the island of Taiwan after spending a month in Taipei for my work. Our kimkim local specialist, Shirley, planned a fantastic trip for our family. The experiences and hotels were absolutely lovely. And Clint our guide was great! He was funny, kind, responsive to our needs, and made the whole trip relaxing and fun. I used to plan all our family trips by myself; it would take so much time to find places to stay, transportation to get us between places, and booking activities. I may never plan another trip again now that I have used kimkim!

This won’t be easy to keep short!!!! I’ve always planned our families overseas vacations but I didn’t know much about traveling in Iceland, so I took a leap and signed up with KimKim as a first timer. We worked with Gummi who emailed and FaceTimed with us to really understand what our family of four wanted from our first vacation in this spectacular country. He NAILED it! My husband and I were traveling with twin 12 year old boys who couldn’t be more different. Gummi was able to squeeze in adventures that appealed to all of us, suggested whatever to see, where to eat and how much time to spend at each location of our itinerary. He was available during our vacation if a question popped up and was a pleasure to work with every step of the way. We have so many favorite spots but I’d say our top few were: our first stop after our flight at Sky Lagoon (we preferred Sky Lagoon over Blue Lagoon), our cliffside walk at Arnarstapi (we never would’ve known to do this without Gummi), our Katla Glacier Ice Cave Hike, and of course driving from spot to spot looking at the gorgeous scenery and hiking to waterfalls. I suspect we’ll use Kim Kim on another vacation and would absolutely request to work with Gummi again!

We walked to restaurants, coffee shops, sites and the sky voyager. We loved the location. Just to set expectations… It was a bit noisy but that’s what you get in a city! If you want to be close to everything, it’s not going to be silent like a campervan in the forest. Having said that, staying near everything far outweighed any noise. We were always too tired to notice it and slept fine in the comfy beds!

Lunar Landscapes & Healing Waters – Blue Lagoon Immersion

The Blue Lagoon is iconic and was super cool but if you can only visit one hot springs, I’d visit Sky Lagoon as it seems more natural and less touristy. (my preference) Having said that, I’m glad we did both. If you’re planning to visit both, do Blue Lagoon first then Sky Lagoon and maybe work in a visit to a hot springs off the beaten path. I’d say visiting the hot springs was a highlight and though the waterfalls of Iceland are spectacular, thee hot springs are sublime!

My recent experience with Kimkim for my trip to Spain was great, thanks to Adam's meticulous planning and attentive communication.

When I expressed interest at -quite last minute- in attending the PhocusWright conference in Barcelona, Adam ensured that everything was going to be fine.

I had quite a few boxes to tick when it came to choosing a hotel, but Adam made sure he booked the best possible option for me. Adam selected the Gran Hotel Havana for my stay, which seemed perfect! The hotel's close proximity to Room Mate Anna, being close to a metro station for traveling to the conference, the room, and facilities all looked great. I appreciated Adam's quick action in securing a room at Sonder Casa Luz when availability at Gran Hotel Havana changed. That hotel was overall quite nice, very central location, beautiful building, friendly staff, modern decorated (and nice and clean) rooms, nice breakfast, and beautiful rooftop.

I also liked Adam's flexibility in accommodating my request to use Uber instead of private transfers. His attention to detail and adaptability to changes ensured a seamless experience.

Adam's enthusiastic recommendations and Lea's seamless booking process gave me peace of mind, allowing me to focus on enjoying the conference and exploring Barcelona.

We had a wonderful trip to Iceland! Beautiful ride, but guide gave no instruction or information once we left the barn. She didn't check to see how we were doing, or give any information about the tölt or when we would be changing gaits. The guide was German, and did speak more to 2 German participants, but I have no idea what they talked about. I don't think there is a problem with this activity, just with the particular guide we had.

Kim Kim and Gustavo really listened to us and planned the perfect trip to Greece for our family. We were blown away that after telling them we wanted a Mamma Mia style experience we had two surprises waiting at different destinations with the Mamma Mia theme in mind. Great job Kim Kim!!

Wow- this was incredible! Katiana (?sp) was so knowledgeable and had so much passion for her city and her country. She went above and beyond by arranging for special music from Mamma Mia for our daughter during this visit.

Mar planned a wonderful itinerary, allowing us to see and experience many wonderful things in northern Norway. The information she provided was very helpful and well laid out, and she was always very responsive to our questions and needs. Thanks to her and also to Fenne, who was very helpful with the bookings and all related questions.

Every detail was attended to on our trip. I mentioned to my trip planner Gustavo that I’m visiting Greece due to my love of Mamma Mia, and sure enough our hotel had the soundtrack playing for me when I arrived. Not only that but our tour guide in Naxos, Katia, hired a musician to play ABBA songs for me in the beginning of our tour. All of this was a surprise to us and we are so grateful for the attention to detail that our trip planner provided us. So glad we planned our trip with KimKim!
