The hotel choices were wonderful. Our operation guide (Said) was incredibly responsive and helpful. Specifically he secured transport from Casablanca to Fes after a flight delay resulting in us missing our flight. Our driver Hamza was a very good driver, fun, friendly and kind. We shared with him that he could be even better if he studied more about the geography and history to share with customers. Kimkim and team created and delivered a wonderful vacation for us in beautiful Morocco!

De Prime Rang Nam, Your Tailor Made Hotel

Our stay at De Prime Rang Nam was pleasant and worked well for our short time in Bangkok. The location was convenient, and the breakfast buffet was a highlight—plenty of options and great quality to start the day. The room was fairly clean and comfortable, though there’s a bit of room for improvement in overall cleanliness and humidity control in the common areas. That said, the hotel had everything we needed for a quick and easy stay in the city. While it wasn’t my favorite hotel of our Thailand trip, it was a solid choice for a short visit and offered good value for the time we were there.

Thai Cooking Class

This was by far the most exciting and memorable activity we did in Phuket! We absolutely enjoyed every minute of the Thai cooking class. My 11-year-old son had a blast—he said it was one of his favorite activities of the entire trip. The owner was so fun, engaging, and explained everything clearly, making it easy and enjoyable to follow along. We were genuinely amazed at how beautiful (and delicious!) our dishes turned out. Don’t second guess this—just book it. You won’t regret it. It’s an experience we’ll never forget!

Shona was super helpful with planning and coordinating our trip. She checked on us throughout the trip and promptly helped us when we ran into problems with our train tickets going missing at our hotel in Tokyo.

Most of the drivers were kind and would share with me details about what type of car they would be in and the license plate number. Most of them also had a sign with our name on it so it was easier to spot. The driver who picked us up on our first day though did not have a sign. It took us 20-30 minutes for us to find each other. And when we did finally meet up, he was not friendly. But other than that one driver, the rest were great.

The first part of our trip we were in Tokyo, specifically Shibuya, Akihabara, and Ginza. Our time in Tokyo was mostly on our own but Shona did reserve us tickets to teamlab Borderless. We went there before doing some of the other things she recommended for us.

The second part of our trip we went to Hakodate. We had a tour guide for one day. Her name was Mutsumi. I later learned that we were her first tour group! I felt for her first time giving a tour she did well. She gave us water bottles to drink throughout the day and was attentive to our needs. She also answered any questions we had about Hakodate. Mutsumi also took us to places that weren't on our itinerary such as Hakodate park. My favorite place we went to that day was Goryokaku tower/park because we got a good view of the cherry blossoms.

For the last part of our trip we went to Sapporo. We also had a guide for one day while in Sapporo. Her name was Yumi. Yumi was also great because she gave us more history and information about the places we went to. Playing the simulation games at the Sapporo Olympic Museum and going to the top of Mt. Tengu were the highlights of the day for me.

My family and I enjoyed the buffet and the onsen. Our hotel room was nice but the beds were 1) on an elevated platform and 2) a little on the lower side. Since I was traveling with older people, the low beds made it hard for them to get in and out.

To get to the hotel room can be a bit tricky. You take one set of elevators to get to the lobby on the 7th floor. Then you take a different set of elevators to get to your room. Our room was very clean and if you participate in the eco cleaning, they reward you the next day with a free drink from the vending machine. All the amenities are in a "community bin" in the lobby so if you need a razor, lotion, coffee, or tea, you would have to go to the 7th floor. One of the downsides of the place was that you can hear the street noise from the room. The shower was also a bit weird because the stream of water shoots directly at the door, and there's no way to adjust the angle. Lastly, if you want to use the onsen, you have to upgrade your room whereas other hotels let all guests use the onsen.

Chasing Cherry Blossom in Hakodate

My family and I came at the perfect time when the cherry blossoms were in full bloom. We got to see them at Hakodate Park and Goryokaku Park. Our guide Mutsumi took us walking all over Hakodate which was funny because we didn't realize how close everything was.

Otaru Discovery: Glass Works, Music Boxes, and Ropeway with Sapporo Olympics Museum

This tour was lots of fun because there was lots of activities to do. The Sapporo Olympic Museum has different simulation machines of the different games. Then when we went to Mt. Tengu, there was ziplining and a nice photo area. Otaru canal was also nice and walking along the music box street was also fun. You'll find lots of omiyage over there.

Had a fantastic time. Loved where Sir Edmund Hillary practiced for his famous assent to Mt. Everest. Loved New Zealand’s meat pies in Queenstown.

I have never used a travel agency and I admit I was a bit nervous trusting KimKIm with all logistics (we have three kids, 14, 9, and 6 yo, and are pretty active when we travel). But pretty much all our expectations were exceeded! Erin was amazing at planning our trip and customizing it several times based on our preferences. And during the trip everybody was on time, easy to communicate, and please to be around, incl. Buenos Aires city tour, a day trip to a ranch, and a hike guide for our 10hr hike to Laguna de Los Tres. My wife and I had a great time in Italy, and we're already planning our next trip. Bea did a fantastic job planning every last detail of our trip. The travel app made it super easy and convenient. The guides that KimKim set up for our the coliseum, the Vatican, Amalfi, and Pompeii were amazing! We plan to return again next year to Italy with our friends and will absolutely use KimKim to plan our entire trip!

We had a wonderful time on our 9-day visit to Snaefellsnes Peninsula and the Golden Circle. The scenery is all amazing and so dramatic! The most spectacular waterfalls and canyons were only a short hike from each parking lot, and every parking lot had clean restrooms. Visiting in late April turned out perfect; we had the best weather - no rain until the day we left, and even the most popular sights were not too crowded. We really enjoyed the lava cave tour, the Zipline Iceland tour in Vik, and the Settlement Center at Borgarnes, and the Reykjavik food tour was a real highlight. We visited Hvammsvik Hot Springs and the Sky Lagoon, which were each very neat. Our accommodations were all comfortable and the breakfasts were very good. I wish we had planned more historic locations, but with all the driving needed to see everything, I think we fit in as much as we could with the time we had. The only thing that would have improved the trip is seeing puffins and the aurora borealis, but we'll have to return for that!

Antonia was amazing , I have travelled a lot over the years and have never felt so well taken care and spoiled in every way . From the first day meet for our welcome dinner to every day after , Antonia calmly managed all our individual needs, diets , wish list, challenges , to make sure we each had a magical trip . Her love of Croatia shined through and the local tour guides she introduced us to were outstanding in every way. It was a trip of a lifetime that I will always remember with gratitude thanks to Antonia’s attention to detail and kindness and patience shown daily. And who gets up a 4am to see us off and wants to know when we have arrived safely home ? Above and beyond all expectations . I would highly recommend Antonia to anyone traveling to Croatia looking for a unique and individual experience . Thank you Antonia, you are a precious gem . Leaving things a bit late (end of February), KimKim was the only travel agent able to put together the itinerary we wanted, finding us hotels, activities and guides that were all top notch. The travel logistics (trains, cars, subways, etc.), coordination and level of service during our trip were second to none, with excellent responsiveness on WhatsApp or by phone during all hours of the day. Camillo was our guide for the Wine Valley Tour and he was spectacular. Mom doesn’t drink wine and said this was her favorite tour. I really recommend this too. We also drank and ate our way through multiple coffee houses and honestly I think the Mozart Cafe was the best. I can’t wait to come back to Vienna and explore some more!

This was an excellent trip and I've been recommending Kimkim to everyone! It was a busy program, but there was nothing I would have preferred to omit. It was all fascinating and VERY well organized. To go through the various elements:
Our driver Abdelkarim was an outstanding driver and a delightful personality. We enjoyed his company and willingness to help throughout the trip. However, he really could do with some more English lessons! Communication was not his strong point, so on this we would give him a lower grade.
We really liked the hotel in Chefchaouen, Dar Jasmine, especially the outstanding view from the balcony of our room. And the delicious breakfast. It was a shock having to climb 100 steep stone steps after a 3-hour flight and queuing 90 minutes for passport control, followed by a 3-hour drive with multiple stops at police security checks, but the hotel was lovely.
Hazim, our guide in Chefchaouen, was fine and an entertaining character.
We had a long day driving from Chefchaouen to Fes but the stop at the tomb of Rabbi Amram ben Diwan was interesting and the Roman ruins of Volubilis exceeded our expectations. Our guide there, Achmed, was excellent.
In Fes we stayed at Riad La Maison Bleue, which was beautiful, although the least comfortable of the places we stayed at. If I were returning to Fes, I would probably look for somewhere else to stay, despite the luxurious surroundings.
Our guide in Fes, Hassan, was very good and he showed us a tremendous amount in the short time we stayed there. Unfortunately our day in Fes was a Friday, so many of the shops were closed. I would have liked longer in Fes, but that was just the way it worked out with our own timing restrictions.
There was a stop in Rabat on the way from Fes to Marrakesh - interesting to see the tombs and Hassan Tower.
On arrival in Marrakesh we barely had time to freshen up before the scheduled Food Tour. I had wondered if that might be too much for us, but it was such an amazing experience and great fun that I'm really glad we did it. It was one of the highlights of the program. Our guide in Marrakesh, Ishmael, was also excellent.
We liked our hotel there, Les Jardins de la Medina. The restaurant was very good and the gardens were attractive, though I was sorry there wasn't a better view of the Atlas Mountains from the roof.
Our day trip to Essaouira was one of the highlights of our stay in Morocco and we enjoyed everything about the day, apart from our guide, Isaid, who spent most of the time on his phone.
On our last day in Marrakesh, the cooking class at La Maison Arabe was outstanding and I would highly recommend it to future visitors. Incredibly well organized and presented and we enjoyed a delicious lunch at the end of it.
That afternoon, we attempted to visit the hotel La Mamounia for tea. Visitors should be warned that the hotel has a very strict dress code and anyone wearing sneakers, or any footwear resembling sneakers, will not be allowed into the hotel or grounds. We discovered that the hard way!
Another point worth making is that it's really difficult to get the small change you need in order to keep tipping everyone. Don't bother to try the banks or the exchange offices. We finally got some change and smaller denomination notes with the help of our guide in Fes.
All in all, a very enjoyable visit to a friendly and hospitable country.

Serendipty and our in country soecialist Holden did a great job tayloring a highly varied itinery on very short notice to make sure we got a great sense of the country with desired activities. Of particular note was Alex, who transported us on a couple of 3 hour drives while using his broad knowledge of local culture, geography, and history along with his outstanding communication skills to ensure those drives were a valuable part of our tour. We also valued our time with Andy a skilled natualist who lead us through the cloud forest.

The trip exceeded our expectations! The planning with Tiago was effortless; we expressed our interests and he planned the perfect trip, totally and timely responding to every inquiry. Our driver, William to/from the airport was prompt and courteous, as were our tour guides, “Hugo 1” and “Hugo 2” as we nicknamed them. They were knowledgeable and responsive to our interests, as was Olivia, who coordinated the trip while on the island. They even switched the itinerary to accommodate the weather. Highlights of the trip included the beautiful green mountainside scenery, contrasting the blue waters and flowers beginning to bloom everywhere! We especially enjoyed our bike ride and trip to Furnas where we saw the hot springs and bathed in the garden waters. Finally the restaurants were excellent choices, catering to the local food. We could not have had a better time! Thank you to Kimkim and Tiago.

Guides in Amsterdam, Paris, Brussels, and Loire Valley were excellent. The arrangements were first class. Train station in Amsterdam was a little confusing. and all the up escalators from the station to DeGaulle airport were out of service. Hotels were centrally located, and the one in Amboise was very accommodating with its new elevator.

I found the KimKim team gave me the perfect combination of guidance and freedom while planning our trip to Spain. Hector gave us great suggestions, responded in a timely manner and was also able to pivot and rearrange cities and tours when we decided to fly out of Madrid instead of Seville. He responded to us immediately ( after hours) when we couldn’t find our tapas tour group. Pick up and drop offs were seamless. The rooms were spacious, clean and beautiful. We were here during the power outage when the grid in all of Spain went down. The gentleman who was running the restaurant ( Javio - spelling?) went above and beyond to not only to serve us a meal ( sandwich and salad because they did not need to be cooked) but found some board games at the front desk and let us play by candlelight until the power came back on.
