Gummi was great at following up on every detail, even the smallest.
It is impossible to say that there is one place more memorable than another, the whole trip and all the places we have been to, were amazingly beautiful, emotionally satisfying and memorable. From the wows of children's waterfall, to the Lava Cave or the gayzir and Glacier all very planned with such care.
We have also liked the different experience of the lagoons. From quite and not so touristy to singing and full of tourists.
The restaurants recommended, especially those with special recommendations from Gummi , were amazing.
Thanks so much for your efforts to make this trip one of the best in our lives. 😊❤️👍

Overall amazing trip planned by Randall. Would highly recommend. All the transports were almost flawless. My son even lost his suitcase at a restop and chris from kimkim found it and got it delivered to us.

First andlast night in san jose, hotel was great. We took a tour of san jose on our own which was nice.

Only major issue was Tortuguero. Hotel was horrible (no AC (sweltering hot temps) room full of bugs/lizards, stray dogs everywhere (including every meal) and kids hated the food). It was a cabin, not a hotel. Nobody slept for two nights due to heat and bugs. Worst part was that turtle nesting season not until July, so there was nothing to see.. was a horrible experience. We went kayaking on our own there which was fun.

Arenal was fantastic, the hiking tour to volcano was just average. The rio celeste tour was amazing. Wished we had gone tubing/rafting, many other families had done that.

Trasnfer to monteverde was interesting. A boat ride to a muddy area and we all dragged our luggage through puddles and mud to get to a bus. Monteverde was beautiful, hotel poco a poco was amazing. Zipline and night tour fun. We did a coffee/chocolate tour on our own which was great.

Manuel antonio was also beautiful. The hotel costa verde was fine. We paid for middle of the range hotels, so couldnt ask for anything amazing. The guided tour if national park was fun, but we had done so many hiking/walking tours that kids were a bit restless by the time we got to that tour.

I started working with Irene in November planning a trip to Greece with our 12 year old granddaughter! She is a fountain of knowledge! She provided us with a plan which I would never have been able to do by myself.
About 2 weeks before our trip I notified her that I have been diagnosed with Parkinson's disease. I would be limited to shorter walks. Without asking she started searching for a scooter and transportation to haul it. She advised against certain venues for safety issues. Every driver was more than helpful! Irene arranged for cooking lessons with a Chef who delighted us for 3 hours. Our tour guides were outstanding.
I asked Irene if there was a chance that we could meet her in Athens and she even made that happen. We have always traveled with a tour company on buses. The experience of KimKim exceeded all expectations. The bar has been raised and we highly recommend this company!! Thanks to the team who provided us with a vacation that will never be forgotten.

Exceptional tours with expert tour guides and an exceptional tour BUS DRIVER who got us in and out of places where a bus should not fit - incredible driver (if you have been to Athens, you know how impotant this is )!! We took in history culture and the natural beauty of Greece. Oh did I mention the food and the wine? The team and the hosts at the sites truly out did themselves with the quality and amout of food and beverages. Eleni's team really made great excursions for our group of 25. Visiting the Peleponesse, the Corinth Canal and so many other sites made very excellent memories for us. Our final day visiting Lake Voullemani to swin, sun and relax really was a fitting end to such an amazing visit. I would absolutely recommend Eleni and the Kimkim team to anyone visiting Greece and we will use them again if we make another trip.

We recently had the privilege of working with Ashley who planned out a flawless honeymoon experience in Vietnam. Her expertise and attention to detail ensured that our journey as newlyweds was nothing short of magical. Throughout our honeymoon, we were immersed in unique and intimate experiences, including organized private tours and excursions that allowed us to explore the hidden gems of Vietnam. One of the highlights of our trip was venturing into the picturesque countryside of Sapa. Ashley had organized a trekking excursion that allowed us to witness the breathtaking terraced rice fields and interact with the local ethnic communities. It was an incredible experience that truly connected us with the authentic beauty and warmth of Vietnam.

Communication with Ashley was also exceptional throughout the entire planning process and during our trip. She was always prompt in responding to our inquiries and provided valuable recommendations for activities, restaurants, and even helping us out with any unexpected issues that arose like bad wifi connections! It was evident that they genuinely cared about our happiness and satisfaction, going above and beyond to ensure our honeymoon exceeded our expectations.

Lise did a good job in putting together a memorable trip to France and we would use her services again. The reason for a 4 instead f a 5 was her lack of timely responsiveness. The tours, drivers, and guides she used were great. There were only 2 problem with these. One driver had the wrong time but was able to get someone else to fill in so it we were only delayed. As we needed to get to the airport the next day, We asked Lise to confirm the driver to the airport to make sure we wouldn't have any problems and then they didn't show up at all. s We were forced to call a taxi which Lise reimbursed. Other than that, all went splendidly.

Andrea put together a fabulous trip for us in Italy. His responsiveness, attention to detail, and follow through made for an amazing trip. We would highly recommend Andrea without any reservations whatsoever!

After a few days of getting lost in all the beautiful pictures of different hotels, we decided it might be best to look for a travel agent. We first considered using Kim Kim less than two weeks before our trip, and we already had an idea of what we wanted to do, so we were surprised when we were advised against it. Bastien, the travel agent, took the time to explain why our plan might be improved (the sheer amount of travel time alone was enough for us) by a few places we hadn't previously considered. We took his advice, tweaked the itinerary, talked it through him, and decided this was the way to go! He had a surprisingly quick turnaround and even mentioned an item that might be easier to get on our own rather than through him, which I appreciated since it didn't feel like he was trying to upsell anything. We asked for nicer/posher accommodations (and he delivered).

Once we were there, Mathilde took over as our primary contact and took the time to check in. She was readily available for our few questions and checked on us to ensure everything went smoothly.

The tours were fabulous, and the ONLY thing that made this less than perfect was one tour that offered lunch and champagne tasting. The champagne-tasting part was great, but there was no lunch (pairings only, and the tour guide indicated that she had already informed the agencies). Needless to say, after the hours-long tour, we were starving.

Everything else was spectacular. Highly recommend!

The travel team was wonderful. The fjord tour in flam was fantastic. pulpit rock as an excursion was fantastic. the skipper in Senja was wonderful.

Eleni was wonderfully responsive and flexible with our situation. We did not get one of the passports until the day of the trip. The hotels that were booked for us were very nice and were well situated for what we had planned. We had some unexpected delays due to the number of people visiting Greece and the islands were farther apart than we thought. The car in Naxos was nice, but too big to drive around the streets there. The car in Santorini was a small Nissan and was much easier to maneuver.
The night in Athens was amazing and we met our tour guide, Alex at our hotel and walked to the Acropolis for a great private tour.
The local travel agency, Travel12 was very helpful to us when we had to cancel one of the events. Thank you to Nikos and Marianna and the rest of the team. I was happy that all the arrangements were made to accommodate me and my family. It was an unforgettable trip

Without question, the best trip our family has ever been on. Where do you start? First and foremost, we were blessed to have the best guide/driver in the world, Sallam!!! Words cannot describe how great a person Sallam is. Friendly, funny, knowledgeable, and able to make the trip exciting and fun for people of all ages. We felt like Sallam was a member of our family by the end of two weeks. He is known by seemingly everyone in the country!!! It was like we were traveling with a celebrity. He is always smiling, putting everyone in a great mood for the day. I would 1000000000000000000% recommend Sallam to anyone taking this trip. He is truly one of a kind. A legend!!!!

We loved the diversity of adventures on the trip. Riding "camels" into the Sahara, climbing Monkey Fingers, visiting the Jewish Quarters, looking for goods in the open-air markets, and navigating the narrow alleyways in both Fes and Marrakech. What we loved most was meeting and interacting with the locals. Whether it was playing soccer with little kids in Sefrou, buying Berber rugs in Tinghir, looking at furniture and antiques in Marrakech or purchasing pottery and artisan products in Fes......spending time with people made the trip special. Also as a real estate executive, the architecture and design was mesmerizing to observe.

While our city guides were great (every single guide was unique and knowledgeable....we loved them all).....one city guide was can't miss: Said in Fes. We could have spent days talking to him. He has an amazing story and is a walking encyclopedia. His love for his city oozes out of every pore in his body.

Kudos to Sharon and her team for working with my wife to put together this world-class itinerary. I would encourage any traveler to work with this team!!! This trip was truly life-changing. We hope we have the opportunity to come back in the years ahead.

We had an amazing time in Croatia and Sarah was super responsive and helpful before and during our stay. She and her husband Ivan assisted with dinner recommendations and reservations and tweaked our itinerary when needed. The drivers and skippers were top-notch, friendly, and reliable. Alex and the entire team were amazing to work with. In the past, my wife and I would research where to go, what to do every day and what/where to eat. Alex made it so easy to vacation.

This was our second time using kimkim travel (last year they organized our road trip to Ireland)... and thank you kimkim and Myaen - another "home run!" We just returned from a phenomenal 2-week self-guided trip to Japan, which included several days in Tokyo, Kanazawa, Kyoto, Naoshima Island, and Hakone. Myaen was superb as our Japan specialist, helping us think thru what made sense for 2-weeks, as well as recommending the right neighborhoods and hotels to stay in. Our focus for this trip was Japanese contemporary art, and we were not disappointed... so many wonderful museums, exhibits, and places to see. We were also delighted that our contact with our trip planner, Myaen, did not stop once the trip was planned and paid for. Myaen contacted us regularly before the trip, reminded us about appropriate local travel passes to purchase, how to use the visiting Japan website (which makes entry into Japan easier and faster), etc. And Myaen reached out almost daily to make sure the trip was going well, and that any questions we had were promptly answered. We plan on using kimkim again for our next adventure, and wholeheartedly recommend them to others. Kimkim listens, and helps you plan the trip you want - not the most expensive package they can sell. And if you are planning to visit Japan - ask for Myaen.

We wanted a traditional onsen experience and we got one. Our hotel was very traditional, and had several beautiful communal baths right on the property... Our days typically started with using the baths before breakfast, and again after dinner. While it was unfortunately too cloudy to see Mt. Fuji, the Hakone area was beautiful and relaxing. A great 3-day end to our 2-week trip.

Boy are we glad we decided to make the short subway trip to Asakusa. Ginza is beautiful and modern, and not far away in Asakusa, you can get a feel for old Tokyo. Temples, shrines, and real neighborhoods. We even had dinner Sunday night outdoors on a small street where we were the only tourists.

Quality of Experience

Our favorite driver/guide was Luciana out of Siena. She helped us plan our day when the private tour was cancelled in Florence and the time was changed. We truly relaxed in Siena and felt very safe. Rome and the Amalfi coast plus Florence were memorable as well

We had a wonderful trip to Peru and Bolivia.

Kristy, the tour specialist, was very responsive with quotes and flexible with customizing our plan towards our style and what we want to do.

The local venues of hotels and resorts they used were great and local tour operators were fantastic too. Most of the tours were very well organized. The guides were attentive and knowledgeable. Even the drivers were very punctual, polite and professional. When there was a miscommunication, the problem was solved quickly. Kristy was responsive promptly to any questions and concerns we had during the trip as well.

Our trip was so much easier and less stressful because Kimkim and their local teams organized all of our guides, drivers, and transfers in advance. We didn't have to figure out how to get from one place to another. This way we were able to fit in more activities than we could have if we had been responsible for driving and arranging transportation.
