Visit to Meknes wasn’t ideal because of extensive restoration projects. Volubilios was amazing!

The tour was great but I was surprised that a significant part of the experience was a push to shop. I appreciated that our guide knew history and confidently guided ua through the medina maze.

Our room at the Manoa was beautifully appointed and situated at the back of the resort, surrounded by dense trees, flowers, and many, many birds. The room was large and was kept very clean throughout our stay; the maid even left little treats and towel sculptures for the kids each day. Our room was close to the restaurant and the regular pool, though a bit of a walk to the on-site hot springs at the front of the resort. Again, the food was quite expensive at the hotel, so we dined nearby in La Fortuna frequently. All the food at the hotel was genuinely excellent. There were good options for the kids, too.

Our stay at the Bosque Del Mar was great. We had a large ocean view room with a separate bedroom and large balcony. The food on site (additional) was relatively expensive but delicious, but the service was good and it was very quiet at night (except for the occasional howler monkey!). The kids loved the pool, the beach, and the full-size pool table in the lounge, where we enjoyed the 2-for-1 daily happy hour and great views from the second floor.

We were picked up by Callidryas Tours for a sloth viewing expedition. For this tour, you do need the guides driving because they search for sloths in the wild while driving the local streets! They have amazing eyes to pick them out of the trees and we stopped multiple times to view the sloths in their natural environment through telescopes. We were able to see both two toed and three toed sloths and also found moms and their babies!

This was the kids' favourite activity! They were a bit nervous starting the walk though the river in the caves, but after passing through some tight crawl-throughs, they explored with enthusiasm. One of our headlamps ran out of batteries midway through the spelunking, which is a bit disconcerting, but with the larger group (there were 7 of us) it was OK. This excursion included a transfer from our hotel, but this wasn't really needed and we would have preferred to drive ourselves as we would have stopped for food on our way home.

We had a private excursion at the Vista Arenal Adventure Park and this was a family favourite. The equipment was great with good fitting harnesses and each of our kids had their own guide, Daniel and Tiago, who did each zip line with them to control the speed and breaking. There were fourteen platforms high in the forest near the base of the volcano. We zoomed through the canopy and over a river with incredible views. The kids were never scared and loved the thrill of the ride. Our main guide, Isaac, was very informative and discussed the wildlife and vegetation that we saw.

We drove to the Hacienda El Viejo, where we had a good lunch of local cuisine and then went on a private river boat excursion in the Palo Verde National Park. Our guide seemed a bit more interested in talking with the boat captain than with us during the exploration but we did see alligators, a Jesus Christ lizard, a variety of monkeys and many birds. When we got back to the hacienda our guide asked us to give him a ride home. While that was a bit unexpected it's understandable given the distance from the remote park to his home and that it was in-line with our next destination. We were happy to help, too, since the rural roads were not paved and some routes shown on Google Maps were closed or weren't the standard local way to navigate. As we drove him to a drop-off point to catch a bus he pointed out additional wildlife from the car that we wouldn't have otherwise known to look for.

Better visibility at this site as it is further from the beach areas and less sandy debris in the water. The wreck at Tortuga was small but amusing to see and had an eel living in it.

We went SCUBA diving for 3 days, leaving from Playas del Coco (15-minute drive from the hotel). We found the service at Deep Blue Diving to be quite good for a PADI-certified site. The equipment was maintained (few minor air leaks in the rental BCD's) and the dive masters and the boat captains were attentive and safe, including extra safety equipment and plenty of food and water on-board. Everything was on time with no delays. The dive sites had about 20-30 feet visibility with very calm surface conditions (minimal wind each day) and a great variety of underwater life

Older building with smaller rooms but had lots of charm and can't beat the central location. The staff were very friendly and helpful.

Fun and educational experience. Camels were friendly and tame, loved head scratches. Beautiful views. Only move at a slow walk, very easy ride. Guides were clearly very passionate about the plight of the feral camels in Australia and educated us on the topic. Snacks after tour were tasty. Recommend mesh fly mask. Transport to and from resorts/experiences always provided, very convenient.

The sunset views of Uluru and the stars/astronomy discussion were lovely. However, they did run out of almost all the food with 2-3 tables still left to serve. We were second to last table and had only about 2 dishes left to choose from.

It felt very meaningful and special to have an anangu guide show us around the sacred sites of Uluru. She also was an artist and showed us traditional painting symbols and we all got to make small canvases alongside her as she made a large one. Cultural center was very informative and educational. Be respectful of when and where to take photographs, the guides will let you know when it's ok.

Kings Canyon rim hike is intense, almost grueling, but well worth the views and sense of achievement. Guides were fun and informative and also very serious about our safety. Lots of stairs, elevation changes, loose/rocky terrain. Trail clearly marked and included a few shaded stopping points for brief breaks. Views were stunning. There was an easier/shorter hike for those not physically able to do rim walk.

Full day experience. Lots of hours being jostled in 4wd tour bus but views and locals were worth it. Especially enjoyed seeing rare insects in their native habitats and swimming in the river. Provided lunch was tasty. Tour guides were jovial and knowledgeable. Saw lots of wildlife despite being off season according to guides.

Delicious food but cruise aspect left a bit to be desired. Just slowly ran up and down same side of harbor 2 or 3 times. Saving grace was the night sky when the stars came out and the lit up harbor skyline, especially the ferris wheel.

Possibly best experience of the whole trip. Scuba diving is a must do. The reef and fish are stunning and breathtaking. Saw sharks, sea turtles, rays and many others. Wish stay at pontoon was longer to squeeze in more activities and snorkeling time. Memories for a lifetime.

An absolute must-do. Both the train ride and the skyrail had views to die for. Both felt very safe and were clean. Kuranda had a lot of cool shops and activities.

Took helicopter flight tour around the islands, was very thrilling with stunning views. Guide/pilot gave brief but informative blurbs of the major islands and answered our questions.

Tangalooma Island was great fun. So many activities to choose from, you need more than one day to experience them. Resort and restaurants were high quality. Beach was beautiful. Snorkeling and feeding wild dolphins were experiences not soon to be forgotten.

Both the cruise and the sanctuary were fun and informative. Animals were well cared for. Seeing the neighborhoods of the city from the river was very fun.

Rocks walking tour was very informative and enjoyable. Easy pace, tour quide was fun and knowledgeable.

Excellent service. Chase safari guide was extremely knowledgeable and kind. Ent out of way for us to see big 5. Meals were 5*. Amazing ! Staff beyond generous. Thank you

This hotel is on the older end, and you can see it in the decor and rooms. The hot springs pools were nice and swim up bar was fun.

If you go to Monteverde, you must stay at Hotel Koora. The views, the staff and rooms are incredible.

This hotel was amazing for our family. We had comfortable beds, a huge bathroom and some of the best service I've ever received. The food is top notch and don't skip the mojitos, so good!

The staff here was amazing and we had a blast zip lining!

Beautiful property, the best service we had on our trip, outdoor showers, hot tubs, swim up bar, great breakfast, dinner was amazing, even made suggestions to a local restaurant up the street which was the best meal we had in Costa Rica! Would live here if I could!

Family style meals were amazing, modest rooms with everything you need, a private waterfall and trails to hike, orchid garden, great service!

The guide (Oscar) was able to provide so much information in the animals, the land, the history that while the waterfall is beautiful, the details made the trip!

Our guide Óscar was knowledgeable and friendly, spoke English as well as I do! We had a wonderful time and got to swim, jump into the river and eat pineapple on the shore!!

Buffet was ok, drinks were good poolside, lockers and bathrooms clean and in a good location. Pools were clean, various temps for everyone’s comfort.

Guide was attentive, friendly and knowledgeable! Meal provided was amazing! Facility clean, in time pick up!

If you want to stay a few blocks away from Zocalo and the excitement of the city. This is a place to go. I did not like the fact that it’s in a pedestrian area so cars cannot come in and if you have suitcases and things like that, it makes it very difficult for the drivers to park the cars a block around and try to help you. I tend to like hotels that have patios and gardens. This one is an old Casona which does have an atrium, but does not have any green areas. Regardless, it is extremely clean comfortable very spacious and wonderful lighting in every room. I still would recommend it. I’m just picky about having green areas and feeling like I can be outdoors when I come to the hotel in the afternoons to take a break.

I chose Guayaba Inn as well. The surroundings are magnificent, beautifully decorated rooms are immaculately, clean and super comfortable. They do have TV and a bar. One of my favorites.

An exquisite place to be. Right in the middle of the jungle. They only serve breakfast, which is kind of a downside because everything else is not a walking distance. But the place is wonderfully decorated super comfortable and just very unique.. I will definitely go back to it.

The hotel is one of the oldest hotels in the area. Very well located because you can walk to a beautiful park in the back and also to La Venta. The pool area is wonderful but the food for breakfast café is not up to par. The rooms are old and terrible lighting in the bathrooms. They are working with some of the rooms but basically they are not doing a good remodel they’re just painting. It’s as clean as it can be, but I was not impressed by anything. My room unfortunately was in the back and there was some kind of event the first night that kept going till three in the morning. The band was playing people screaming and yelling, so that was a bad night in itself. Would I go back to it , maybe but it wouldn’t be my first choice. I chose this hotel. It has nothing to do with Kim Kim. I don’t think their advertisement is truly honest.

Very well located in Zone one of Ho Chi Minh City. But actually a bit tired in some respects. The rooftop bar and pool (small) were nice, but the ‘gym’ was one running machine and one bike. It felt like a three star hotel.

This felt so spacious and luxurious. Everything was perfect. This was actually my favourite hotel of the trip.

This was very nice. It was on the beech. There was never a problem about enough chairs, the Vietnamese food in particular was really good and the staff were attentive and friendly.

This was really fun and interesting. The floating schools and villages and a way of life built around a lake that floods the surrounding country for miles every year. The crocodiles were also fun to see. Who knew that they do not have a tongue and that the inside of their mouth is bright yellow?

This was really good fun and I came away with at least one delicious dish that I could do in Wales.

I think we scheduled too many temples in this trip. It was a long and hot day.

Angkor wat is astonishing. The dance show was a bit so so, bothe for quality of food and music. The hotel we stayed at did it better.

This was fun. The guide gave a a great insight into the imperial way of life before the arrival of the French. The summer residence (and burial place) of one of the emperors was very beautiful. all the stories about the imperial dynasty (kindly provided by our entertaining and knowledgeable guide) weee fascinating.

Really nice introduction to the city, covering the main sites. Well managed by the guide.

The exhibition at Wat Thmey is relatively small but still devastating in its impact. Visiting the village was just lovely. They gave us the best lunch, cooked by someone who was also the village hairdresser. Seeing the village and understanding something about their way of life was very memorable. The welcome was so warm.

Anyone who has an interest in the Vietnam war really needs to see these tunnels. It is really worthwhile to have a well informed guide for this visit.

This was really great. The two young men who were our drivers spoke good English, were very safe as drivers, and took us to some very interesting places. I would definitely recommend this. The Vespas were actual Vespas and were authentic from the sixties.

Medellín is an amazing and vibrant city that we loved very much, especially the visit to the legendary Comuna 13. Do also take the metro when you are in Medellín.

Amazing nature and landscapes, including the 60 metre wax palms.

Very challenging bike tour because of the enormous steep slopes of the mountains. But it was certainly worth the effort!

This tour was a highlight of our recent trip to Cambodia. We were very pleased with our driver and with our guide, Hong. They showed us a variety of places - a local produce and fish market, a family farm, a rice wine distillery, an oyster mushroom farm, a buddhist temple, a lotus pond. Hong was a very personable, outgoing guide. Her English was excellent. She shared her experiences growing up in a fisherman's family with a mother who spent all day selling the fish at the local market. She thoughtfully answered our many questions. She and the driver made detours and spontaneous stops to help us to better understand this part of Cambodia's countryside. We concluded the tour with a sunset picnic surrounded by rice fields. Magic.

Very friendly atmosphere!

Enjoyed the day’s more historical lessons/sites regarding Ecuador’s history than other aspects (e.g. visiting the Intiñan Site Museum seemed more worthwhile than the Mitad Del Mundo site).

The hotel was in an excellent location right next to a metro stop. It is a beautiful historic building but the room was small and very plain. I expected a little more character. The restaurant downstairs served an excellent breakfast and we also stopped several times for a glass of wine.

One of our most fun activities in Spain!

Beautiful city and worth a visit but be prepared for lots of other tourists and souvenir shops everywhere you turn. Our guide was a wonderful Spanish lady who had lots of information to share but her English was heavily accented and we had to listen very closely to understand her, which got very wearing after 3 hrs.

The food was very mediocre. I noticed that only two other Americans came for dinner; everyone else came just for the performance. The dancing was interesting and energetic but a very modern, extemporaneous style and we missed some of the more traditional, flamboyant aspects of the dance.

My favorite experience. Our guide was friendly, spoke very good English without a heavy accent, and was very knowledgeable. We had a great time trying Spanish wines and tapas
