Caroline was wonderful—she is very nice, fun, and knowledgeable. Unfortunately, the logistics managed by Le Franchaise once again fell short. We ran into heavy traffic entering our first stop, Eze. While the visit there was interesting, we ended up spending too much time in Eze, which forced us to rush through Monaco. We had only about 30 minutes to explore, which was definitely not enough. In fact, one of the guests on the tour was so disappointed by the limited time that she chose to return on her own via Uber just to see more of Monaco. Our stop in Monte Carlo was even shorter, lasting only 15–20 minutes. The constant rushing to make up time and get to meeting points created a stressful atmosphere, which took away from the enjoyment of the day. I had been very excited for this tour, but once again, Le Franchaise’s poor logistics and inadequate time management turned what should have been a highlight into a frustrating experience.

We had a new tour guide, Valentine, and it was his very first tour after only two days of training. Valentine is a kind young man—eager to learn and clearly motivated to do well—but he understandably lacked the knowledge and experience to guide us with confidence. Everyone has to start their career somewhere, and we support people beginning in their roles, but Le Franchaise should be doing much more to properly prepare their guides before sending them out with paying customers. On top of that, logistics once again fell short. Our driver arrived 25 minutes late due to traffic and unclear meeting point instructions, which only added to the frustration. While Valentine showed promise, the lack of preparation and poor coordination from the company left us with a subpar experience.

Theo was excellent and very engaging; however, he did not have all the necessary details about our tour. He seemed unaware of certain inclusions, and when I asked about our visit to Grimaud, he was taken by surprise, as it was not part of the information he had been given. While he managed to adjust the schedule and fit in a quick stop—giving us only a brief glimpse—it was not the complete experience we expected. This once again highlighted the poor logistics and lack of coordination on the part of Le Franchaise.

Rafael was an excellent tour guide—knowledgeable, engaging, and a true pleasure to spend time with. We genuinely enjoyed our experience with him. Unfortunately, due to time constraints, we were unable to complete everything that had been planned on the tour. As a result, we had to visit some of the remaining spots on our own, which took away from the seamless experience we were expecting.

Great resort with beautiful rooms, 3 pools , a nice gym, and beach access! Breakfast was great! Very friendly and helpful staff. Would definitely stay there again!

Our guide João drive us out to Cascais and Sinatra and even booked a lunch for us at this very quaint restaurant on the beach! It was amazing! The beaches in Cascais are beautiful!

João planned this for us and it was a great experience! The food was authentic Portuguese food that was delicious! The Fado was amazing!

Visited Ferreira winery and loved it! The Port wine tasting was excellent and brought a bottle home!

Our guide Andre was great! Very knowledgeable and did a great job explaining the history of Porto and the wine and food we tried! Loved it!

The most gorgeous dining room with high wooden ceilings and nice decorations, plus the buffet was the best out of all the places we stayed in Croatia. The staff were very helpful, pointing us in directions of places we wanted to go.

Stunning water front location convenient to every shop and restaurant you could want. This hotel has a majestic air and there are a lot of pictures of it from the past as a kind of waterfront legacy. It is a great place for people watching.

A beautiful villa (and hopefully you get a balcony) plopped right in the middle of a great location, easy walking distance to the beach via the promenade full of casual restaurants. I loved the hotel manager, Anita, who warmly greeted us and showed us where to go with a prepared map. She is so sweet and kind - you can tell she loves her job! This place has big rooms, good air conditioning, and is quiet given there are only a few units. The small pool and loungers are all you need for sunbathing and reading a good book outside. The espresso machines (with bottomless pods) were a nice way to start each day, too!

I liked the hotel pickup especially considering that Kotor is such a busy place with crowds of people, our guide, Igor, was easy to find.

The flow of the places we visited with the educational pieces was done very well. We covered a ton of topics in a short period of time. I loved going to the hidden spots and the quieter spots away from the main areas. Our guide, Albert, had a very eloquent and beautiful way of speaking that drew us in completely! Having grown up in the area he was able to share all the changes he experienced and I appreciated how honest and thorough his answers were to all of our many questions.

Loved Rachael and this tour - she took her time with each stop and we filled an afternoon! She had developed deep relationships with each of the business owners at the honey shop, Bire winery, and the homestead. The best was these places were not SALESY at all. Sometimes as a tourist you just want a little space to enjoy the experience and the moment. I could tell Rachael, our guide, has a genuine appreciation for the culture of the place especially as an expat.

Gorgeous hotel in a very walkable area of Casablanca. Beautiful rooms, restaurant, and pool.

This hotel was so well placed. Parking was not too far away (and parking in Reykjavik is a challenge), and everything we wanted to go to was nearby. Breakfast included granola bars right from the oven. Staff was friendly and helpful.

This was not on our itinerary! We specifically said we had been in lava tunnels and didn't need to do this. Did we pay for it?

This was cancelled due to maintenance.

Kayaking amongst those hunks of glacier was an awesome experience, so serene and beautiful.

This was great. Our guide was a hoot. And he explained everything very well.

Bonnie was a great guide for this tour, and she introduced us to some wonderful food and restaurants. We were sorry that the restaurant we liked best had only a 7 course tasting menu if we wanted to go there for dinner (we didn't want to eat that much!) but we were glad we got to sample some of it!

This was an interesting way to learn about Reykjavik and its history.

This hotel was amazing! The view of the mountains from our room was breathtaking, and the room was spacious and clean. It is located within walking distance of lots of shops and restaurants. The area is very charming. We enjoyed the pool, hot tub, and sauna which were very nice. Breakfast each morning was delicious and included a large selection. The staff were helpful and friendly. I highly recommend!

Loved this hotel. The location is wonderful. It’s on a very quiet side street with lovely flowers in the middle of the street near all the sights. The room is colorful, clean, modern, compact, and our room was very quiet. Would definitely recommend.

What a location! The hotel was lovely in an incredible location and the breakfast area and dining room were very nice. Would definitely recommend staying here for Flam. We stayed in an historic room. It was very quiet, with lovely sheets, and a modern bathroom. However, the chairs and sofa in the room needs to be restuffed. We couldn’t sit on them - but that wasn’t a problem. Also, although the bathroom is modern and lovely, our room had a ball and claw tub which would be a challenge for some people to use.

Very nicely furnished, comfortable linens, modern bathroom, clean, nice to have a living room and a bedroom. The food and dining room was very nice. Lots of places to sit and talk. The city itself doesn’t have much in it to do but we enjoyed hiking

We really enjoyed this RIB boat experience. It was different from the RIB boat experience in Flam. If you were only picking one of the two to do, we’d pick the one in Flam with the cheese tasting. However, this was also wonderful and we’re so, so glad we got to do both. The scenic beautiful out on the fjord is spectacular! The tour guide was knowledgeable and being on the water in both towns was truly memorable! This is definitely worth doing!

What a wonderful experience! This is a fun, informative, interesting, and very tasty activity! The owner showed us part of the apple orchard as he explained the history of their business, the kinds of apples grown, the cider making process, etc. He was lively and interesting. Then, we had a tasting of 5 types of cider with food pairings (we did the late afternoon cider pairings with snacks). The food and cider were delicious and the setting, sitting on their beautiful terrace overlooking part of their orchard, was lovely. We highly recommend this activity!

Surprisedly good! We really enjoyed seeing areas we did not get to see otherwise. It was just the right mix of information, the right length of time at each stop, and it was a good length overall. We enjoyed this more than we expected. We would recommend it!

This was truly awesome! This was one of the highlights of our month trip! The scenery is absolutely spectacular and the guide was lively, very informative, interesting, and just delightful. The cheese tasting and the information on the town and cheese making was very interesting. The RIB boat company was very professional, gave great information, and the boats were very nice. Don’t miss this! It’s wonderful!

Terrific! The guide was wonderful! He was knowledgeable, cheerful, gave us a lot of information about Oslo, paced the walk perfectly for the people in the group. It was a lovely 1/2 day trip and we really enjoyed it.

The food was fine but we didn’t think it was anything special. If you go there, fine. But, there’s so many other restaurants to try.

We got to taste bites of a lot of different foods and we learned a lot. The tour guide’s knowledge and information was very good. However, the guide had a cold, non-conversational demeanor. We felt that a bubbly or warm or more engaging tour guide would have improved the tour. Also, Kim-Kim did notify the tour company of our allergies/dietary restrictions and the guide did ask at the beginning of the tour if anyone had allergies. But, the food choices could have been arranged ahead of time to easily accommodate our needs. Because we didn’t want to make a big deal in front of others, we just didn’t eat some of the items. Having said all this, we still enjoyed the tour and felt very lucky to have tasted so many interesting items and we learned so much.

It was a nice ride up to the top of the mountain to get city views. There is also a playground and troll park at the top to explore. Luckily we had sunshine, would not be much fun in the rain.

We skipped this activity. It was a 2 hour ferry ride both ways and we had just spent 4 hours on a ferry to get to Bergen the night before. It would have taken up all our free time in Bergen.

Everyone in our group really enjoyed this activity and the food was excellent. The guide did a great job explaining the process and they had non alcoholic options available

This is a very small village without a lot to see. I was hoping for quaint little shops and cafes but they don't have any. There is a cute church but not much else to see unless you want to do alot of uphill hiking.

It's a small little museum attached to a souvenir shop. Luckily it is free.

We were very rushed as the island hopping tour took up much of our time. We did enjoy the free guided tour of the grounds and learned a lot. Wish we would have had more time to see all of the exhibits. Would love to go back with more time.

The first island was cute, could have skipped the 2nd island completely, 3rd island had an old monastery but wasn't very exciting either. It was too much walking for 3 people in our group so at the last island they sat in the cafe while the rest of us hiked. We had so much time to explore nature at the other villages that I'd rather not done this activity in Oslo. It took up all our time during the day when we could have been visiting museums.

We did not have any time to explore Oslo. We got into town after the museums were closed and our excursion the next day took up most of the time during the day, On our last day we were on the train to early to explore.

This hotel was great overall. The location and staff were amazing and the breakfast buffet was nice. However, I would not recommend room service for dinner. The quality of the food was not so good.

Absolutely loved this hotel! The location, staff, and accommodations were spectacular. Just one hiccup was that our room was not ready upon arrival even though in their system it said it was. The hotel held our luggage while we walked around and the room was ready within the hour.

Cooking classes are a special way to immerse yourself into culture. Everywhere I travel, I like to take one and this was a great experience. Chef Gui knows how to host and make everyone feel comfortable. We started with an overview of the 9 dishes while drinking wine and eating Couvert then everyone chose which dish they wanted to prepare. All of the dishes tasted spectacular and the company of others was great too. I would highly recommend to other travelers!

My friends and I decided to rent a car this day and it was spectacular driving ourselves! However, if you don’t prefer driving, getting a private car would have been a good option too. The wine tasting was about 45 minutes of information throughout the tour then ended with a tasting and a very nice view! I would definitely recommend this day trip from Porto!

We loved this experience! We really like self-paced tours so this was perfect for my group. At the pastry shop, they ran out of the Jesuita, because those sell out by early morning. Therefore, they gave us a tasting of other pastries from the storefront. The only hiccup was that one of the restaurants was closed for holiday, so we got to experience 4 out of 5 restaurants on this activity. However, we were very full by the end!
