The trip was absolutely amazing. Our organizer (Robi) did everything he could to make sure our trip ran as smoothly as possible. The whole trip exceeded our expectations. The accommodations were very nice and the bike tour went smoothly. Our guide (Goran) did a magnificent job by taking on scenic and less busy routes. He adjusted the routes to tailor to our skill level and continued to ask for input. He was very knowledgeable about the area and provided history of the area and points of interest. He was very personable and we were so happy we lucked out with such a great guide! We would definitely use Kimkim again if we do something similar in the future. We will also be recommending to our friends.

We were picked up from the airport in a friendly and timely manner. Otherwise we were able to explore Zagreb on our own with suggestions from Robi.

We recently returned from an incredible trip to Costa Rica that Priscilla planed for me. From start to finish, everything was impeccably organized, making this journey truly unforgettable. She was very responsive and tailored the trip to my liking.

Right from the beginning, the planning was seamless. She was helpful and responsive, ensuring every detail was covered. Whether it was answering questions or adjusting the itinerary.

The activities were the highlight of the trip. From thrilling zip-lining through lush canopies to an amazing water rafting tour, each adventure was perfectly planned.
Transportation was top-notch. The transfers were punctual, clean, and comfortable, making it easy to go from one region to the other without a hitch. The attention to detail in arranging smooth connections between destinations was much appreciated.

The accommodations exceeded my expectations. Each hotel was carefully chosen for its comfort, location, and service. Waking up to breathtaking views and enjoying luxurious amenities added an extra layer of enjoyment to the trip. My favorite hotel was Arenas del Mar.

Dimitrios and his team developed an outstanding trip itinerary. They were flexible and went out of their way to satisfy. In Athen we experienced the best tour guide (Effy/Effie) we have had during our 35 years of traveling. She is outstanding! All hotels/resorts were 5 star. Overall, we were very pleased with our trip. The itinerary was excellent. All of the accomodations, with the exception of Gabriel House in Cork, were wonderful as were the restaurant and pub recommendations. The main issue we had with Gabriel House was the location, being quite a distance from Cork city centre. Plus, we were assigned a room on the top floor (not KImKim's fault, just something for you to be aware of) which made it impossible for us to haul our full suitcases up 4 flights of stairs. We transferred a few essentials into a duffle bag and carried that. up. The room was spartan; felt like a dormitory room and the bathroom was barely big enough for one person to maneuver in. Concerning Cork, I know we asked to include that location in the itinerary, but we chose to instead drive down to Kinsale after finding Cork rather dirty and uninviting.

We were pleased to find all the reservations confirmed, including the taxi to/from the Dingle Way hike. We were especially pleased with the hike. We didn't particularly care for the 2.5 km part on the road leading to the Blasket Centre, but we understand why the Blasket Centre was chosen for a pick up location.

Lastly, I was pleasantly surprised to receive a daily check-in text message at the beginning of our trip. I know we had ways to reach out to KimKim had we had any problems, but we liked the check-ins as it felt like KimKim was keeping track of where/what we were doing. Then, the day before we were to go on the Dingle Way hike, I reached out with a question. My phone indicated that KimKim received and read the message, but we heard nothing back for 4 days. We were surprised and taken aback at the sudden lack of communication. I know I could have called, but we assumed all would work out with taxi pick up which it did.

Aline and Bastien planned a wonderful trip for us to Paris and Normandy! This is our second trip utilizing KimKim and we find their model very good for our needs. I appreciated how accessible they were for questions on the What's App when we arrived and throughout our visit. We began trip by flying to Paris, then "trained" to Bayeux for several days in the French countryside visiting Mt. St. Michelle one day and then Normandy. The local tour guides they arranged for us were ALL terrific! Charles gave us a wonderful experience at Mt. St. Michelle and we appreciated all his shared knowledge, sense of humor and even his singing:-). Jonathan (Normandy) gave us a very enlightening and enjoyable D-Day experience despite the pouring rain! He was energetic and so fascinatingly full of history about this important place. Aline and Bastien had arranged lovely chateau accommodations near Bayeux that were so gorgeous and restful. Excellent restaurant and bar on site, even a sweet set of donkeys grazing peacefully in field. The staff at our chateau were all delightful! Our final day we returned to Paris by smooth, quiet train. We then packed two days worth of touring into one as our airline had canceled our flight at beginning of our trip (after we waited 7 hours through repeated delays in Boston). Thus, since we lost our first day in Paris, we strove to pack everything in on our last day. Remarkably it all worked! Trained 2.5 hrs early AM, brought bags to hotel near Notre Dame, walked to Louvre, toured there (Mona Lisa! I had just read The Davinci Code which begins in the Louvre and discusses some fascinating details about the Mona Lisa...as well as The Divine Feminine...) taxied to Montmartre where we enjoyed a Gastronomy tour with Aude, a delightful and very informative young lady tour guide sharing about the amazing delicacies and history of the area, taxied to Eiffel Tower to meet Anna for our graciously rescheduled tour from Monday She was remarkably prepared with much to share and good visual aids to emphasize our learning as we traveled up to the top and visited stops on way down. Fully enjoyed Anna and her thorough tour! We added our Siene commented cruise back on to close our touring which was very fun and finally had a late Italian meal back near our hotel. A comfortable sleep, a surprisingly efficient and delicious breakfast at cafe nearby and then the transfer service Bastien arranged arrived in timely manner to return us to Charles DeGaulle Airport. If only our air travel had gone more smoothly on both ends, but this was the airlines and not a KimKim responsibility. We look forward to arranging future travel with KimKim. Bon jour! Our trip to France planned by Lise was all that we imagined it to be. We visited three places Paris, Aix en Provence and Nice. Although it felt like a whirlwind everything went smoothly as far as transfers, hotels, guides and the sights that were selected for us. In Paris we had 4 amazing guides and tours. Our guides Raphaelle, Emilie, Agathe and Gil in Paris were truly experts at their craft. We learned things we had never expected and were so impressed with their enthusiasm and kindness towards us. Between the cafes and the tours we definitely feel another trip is in order as this was just a taste.
Aix en Provence was our favorite I think overall. The four villages we visited in Luberon with our guide Carolina were absolutely a feast for the eyes and the senses. Magnificent views, great food, and of course the smell of lavender. It was a carefree day of taking this all in and meandering through the shops nestled in the mountains. Truly another place to return to.. two days was not enough. Carolina was well informed and gave us the freedom to enjoy a relaxing day of leisure.
And then finally Nice, Eze and Monaco. What can I say about these place except beautiful beaches, beautiful views and delicious food and wine. What a great way to end our trip and say goodbye to France. This is not goodbye though it is au revoir for now.

Hi we had the best time in Croatia. Nikola planned a wonderful trip for us and helped me zone in on what we wanted to see. There are so many options. Our goal was to island hop so we could experience the beaches and wonderful clear water and learn about the history of Croatia. In Split we met with Ivana who gave us the run down of the history there and then took us to Krka National Park. Great experience. We made it thru the park in record time which was ideal because of the heat and crowds. The waterfalls are something to see. Split's history was awesome. After 3 days there we took a Catamaran to Hvar for beach time.... We had a wonderful speed boat day trip that included the Blue Cave, some swimming and dinner at a local restaurant. Food was excellent as well as the tour operators. Our trip to Starigrad on Hvar provided quite a bit of info on the local exports of wine and lavender. The Guide has is own winery -where we tasted their wines and discussed his bicycle touring company.. Another great local meal at a local restaurant. Then it was off to Korcula where we had independent time touring the downtown area, beaches and cafes. Our final stop was Dubrovnik, where another Ivana took us around the city. Amazing- awe inspiring fortress. Great food, history and overall experience. I recommend making a reservation at the Panorama Restaurant (accessible by cable car) for a great meal and excellent views. All our hotels were perfectly situated ....

Kimkim helped our group of 2 couples plan an amazing customized trip to Norway! The planning process worked out well with the input of Christina then as the trip got closer her colleagues Tricia and Tom were great help with final details and any questions while on vacation. We ended up with a boat trip in a fjord, kayaking in a fjord, hiking the Trekanten lodge to lodge in Trollheimen and some city time in Oslo. The lodges and hotels were lovely accommodations with incredible breakfasts. Having Kimkim book 7 lodges/hotels, 2 taxis, 1 rental car and 2 trains for us was incredibly helpful. I will be using Kimkim for future trips and would highly recommend them.

My family had a reunion in Spain and Portugal in August. We had a great time. The planning with excellent with lots of details exchanged between me and My local specialist Helena. I had limited time with the itinerary but Helena kept me on top of it when it comes to deadlines. She gave lots of suggestions, options and resources along the way. My father had mobility challenges and Helena arranged a wheelchair at each city stop for us; it was so helpful. Our guides on the entire tour were all excellent, warm, welcoming and very professional. We had a great time in all city stops. Helena and her backup team stayed very interactive with us along the way whenever we had questions or issues. I especially appreciated how she helped deliver my left behind clothes to the next hotel and re-arranged my brother's train ticket when he had to stay behind. I'm very thankful and we had a great time!

Morocco has been on my bucket list and thanks to Original Traveler, I made it happen! After so much research and reading endless reviews, I chose Kimkim to help me book this detailed and lengthy trip. From the beginning, Said was extremely patient, thorough, and answered my MANY questions. Said made himself available throughout the entire process, including several changes I had to make due to date changes and where to fly out of at end of trip. I was so impressed with Said’s kindness, professionalism, communication, and time he took to ensure I was satisfied and happy with my trip itinerary. Said speaks perfect English and will ensure to tailor the trip you want! Said was in Essaouira towards the end of our trip and even took time to have lunch with me for feedback from our trip. I feel like we have made a friend for life with Said. That’s the care/treatment you feel with Said. I highly recommend utilizing this personal tour to include Karim, the driver/guide extraordinaire! My trip consisted of myself, my daughter, and her boyfriend. We stayed in 10 different cities, including the Sahara desert, which required lots of driving and time spent with Karim. Having our own vehicle was extremely comfortable and made it personal. From day 1 when I met Karim, he exuded kindness, professionalism and charm (Did I mention he’s handsome as well?). Karim speaks perfect English and is so proud of his beautiful country. I have a tendency to ask too many questions but he was never bothered by it. Karim took such good care of us and without him, our trip would not have been as amazing as it was. When we were in Rabat, we took a taxi to the old Medina that evening and our taxi driver could not speak English (Google translate was not working). I called Karim and he translated for me to ensure we would arrive safely to our destination. Karim also picked us up that evening and took us back to our hotel. In Chefchaouen, my daughter experienced a medical incident on the hike to the waterfall. She was on the verge of passing out and thanks to Karim, we were able to get her help and out of there safely. Karim made our trip so beautiful and extra special that the time flew by. I learned so much about the people, culture, food, and music through Karim that I am forever grateful. Thank you Karim for showing me all the beauty of your country, including your culture and people. For being who you are and for opening up your heart to us. I will never forget you and hope we stay in touch. My favorites: A must see Blue City(Chefchaouen), eating with a local family in their home-Fes, visiting the nomadic family in the anti-Atlas mountains. The Sahara desert with food and music in the camp. Visiting the beautiful Berber woman and seeing how they make the Moroccan rugs in the Atlas Mountains. Our food tour in Marrakech with Said, seeing how argan oil is made one nut at a time outside of Essaouira, and the beauty of Essaouira with learning how to make Tagine with Said and his family! I have had the opportunity to travel to more than 30 countries and I honestly feel this was the best trip I have ever taken. I owe this to Said and Karim for structuring the trip the way I wanted and for providing us an immersive experience that you just don’t get on average trips. I left feeling that I could live there and that I needed more time in Morocco. Morocco will always hold a special place in my heart!

We had the most incredible trip to Italy. We began in Venice, traveled to Cinque Terre, went to Pisa, Florence and Rome. We had transfers planned through KimKim for each time we changed locations. It made our trip so much easier and truly hassle free. In each of the cities where we traveled, the hotels were great. We had breakfast at each. We found the hotel staff to be helpful and kind. We were blown away by the guides that Andrea set up for us. Each one was knowledgeable, friendly and great with our kids. We felt like we were able to learn so much about each of the places we visited. In addition, the kayak tour we took in Cinque Terre was beautiful. Our guide was the best! We appreciated the recommendations that Andrea gave us along the way. Working with him was such a delight. He was quick to respond, supportive and lovely to work with. Several of our guides talked about how much they enjoyed working with him as well. We will definitely be booking with KimKim again.

Eva with KimKim was amazing to work with. Having a locally based travel expert in Iceland gave us the confidence that our trip would be well-planned. Eva was super responsive and planned a trip that was tailored perfectly to our travel style. When our flight to Iceland got weather-delayed, causing us to miss the first day of activities, Eva jumped into action, helping us figure out how to make the most of the trip. Without Eva’s help, planning the itinerary would have been a difficult task. Thank you for a great trip, Eva. We highly recommend KimKim and in particular, Eva in Iceland.

Our trip was everything I’d hoped it would be and more! Our guide, Tarik, was FANTASTIC and is now our forever friend! He took care of all our needs and went above and beyond- stopping for yellow melons, donkey petting, and grabbing a few dates, making sure someone was always there to help us with luggage, directing us to the best restaurants, giving us advice on tipping and shopping and answering a million questions, and keeping us safe while driving on some crazy roads! We were also so lucky to have a second guide in training, Hamza! He was our social media superstar- taking fabulous photos and videos for us and lending a second local perspective. He is going to be a fantastic guide on his own soon!
Morocco is a country of history, beautiful landscapes, vibrant cities, and wonderful, friendly people (many of whom speak English (along with Arabic & French). I learned so much in this trip that I wish there was a final exam at the end!

This was my first time using Kimkim and I can’t wait to use them again! Having a travel specialist - Irene - with first hand knowledge of the cities I would be seeing made this trip an absolute dream. I appreciated being able to discuss and refine the itinerary so it fit my timeline, my goals and my budget.
All of the big details were well thought out and top notch .. our accommodations were charming; transportation was planned, ticketed and on time and the guides we worked with took a lot of pride in sharing their cities and country with us. This left my partner and me free to enjoy the views and soak up the experience.

I loved the ottantotto firenze …. The garden charmed me and was one of my favorite experiences in Italy. I loved the location, the staff was helpful and kind and breakfast offered something for everyone. I was truly charmed by the whole experience.

He also had excellent recommendations about restaurants in the area, where to best spend our time - based on our desires. As an added bonus he was our guide in Pompeii the following day!

Our recent family trip to Tanzania with kimkim was amazing! From the moment we began to inquire about the adventure to the shaping of the schedule—and questions along the way, we found Melvin and his team to be incredibly responsive and diligent. Upon arrival in Kilimanjaro, we were greeted warmly by Irene and her team, and always felt confident that we were in good hands. Tanzania opened our eyes to just how much the country has to offer—from hiking the lower slopes of Mount Kilimanjaro to discovering giraffes, hippos and lions as we moved through Serengeti national park, and learning about a culture which differs so much from Canada. What made the trip especially fun were our guides—Kaka and Jambo, who were very friendly, knowledgeable, competent, organized and had a wonderful sense of humor. Hoping this is not our last adventure to Tanzania!
