We are so glad we made the decision to go through kimkim for our trip to Italy. It was very daunting to coordinate all the accommodations, excursions, and transportation in four different cities in a different country but Manuela did a great job easing our worries. Manuela curated an exact experience we were looking for with safe and comfortable accommodations, seamless transportation, and desirable experiences that brought in history, romance, and adventure. Any questions we had were answered promptly. There were many logistics to plan out with our itinerary and every single one happened without an issue. The only recommendation we have is to include the name of the company for any of the excursion to make finding who we need to meet easier. Oftentimes there were multiple tour companies at the same meeting spot and the same time and when we didn’t have a name of the guide, it would’ve been helpful to know the name of the company to ask around. Thank you so much, Manuela and the kimkim team for making our 5 year anniversary a trip of a lifetime.

Our guide was Ilyace. He was wonderful. He looked out for us especially in a country that we are not familiar with. He is very knowledgeable with the area we visited and provides us with a 24/7 service if we need him. Will definitely check to see if he is available on our next visit to Morocco.

Got our tickets and we did not have to wait to enter. Everything was very smooth.

Andreea helped plan our trip for a six-day drive around Calgary, Lake Louise, Golden, Jasper, Clearwater, Salmon Arm, Revelstoke and Canmore. I am SO glad we went in mid October instead of earlier when it is so crazy busy with tourists. We lucked out and the weather was sunny and lovely each day and the traffic was MUCH less crowded then in the summer months. The color changes of the trees was beautiful. We really appreciated Andreea listening to what we needed and didn't need in accomodations and tours. My husband and I are 76 and 79, and having Kim Kim help plan out the hikes, tours, and places to stay and visit, made the trip so much more relaxing and enjoyable. The driving was great and Kim Kim has helped plan trips for us in the past and will again in the future. We don't travel with a group , just the two of us or maybe one other couple, and Kim Kim has always come through for us: Iceland, Arctic Circle in January in Norway (yep, January, and it was incredible), Quebec City/Montreal. Kim Kim LISTENS and plan the trips with us. Couldn't be happier!

This place was very nice, the rooms were probably one of the nicest we stayed in on our trip, but I was surprised that the bathroom had tubs that were so high and with no safety grab bars, that my husband couldn't take a shower because he has had two hip replacements, and without at least some bar to grab on and with the very high sides to the tub, it would be dangerouse. The staff was very helpful .

This was the one place we stayed that included a free breakfast, and it was fantastic. It was nice to wake up and not have to drive or walk somewhere to eat breakfast or spend a lot of money eating at the hotel. The woman who manages the kitchen, Robin, was so friendly and helpful and the food was very tasty, well-made, and varied.

This was amazing! We have see a lot of glaciers, in Alaska, Austria, and a few other places, but this place really was impressive. Also, seeing the change over the years due to climate change was an eye opener.

This is apparently Canada's highest suspension bridge, and walking across it was fun. This would be a place that kids would enjoy because they have a fun area where you can zip-line, climb and play in a creative playground-type area.

The whole trip was unbelievable. Well planned out and completed for the most part without any hiccups.
We had two excursions in Lagos but felt the second one that you planned was too similar to the first. We felt this should have been picked up by one of your staff and we could have ordered something different. The sunset tour which took place first, was quite uncomfortable for that long of a drive and we were advised a picnic was to be provided but we were given a full meal which was great. Our only problem with this tour is we were not advised of the length of time and we were not prepared with jackets or sweaters to be driving late at night - a note should be sent to people taking this to advise to bring something warm. The jeep was quite uncomfortable for the length of time as well. The second tour our guide Rue was very accommodating. We experienced a wonderful unplanned trip after he spoke with uas and it was decided that the previous days excursion was too similar. He took us to some wonderful areas in the region and showed so much passion for what he was showing us. We called it "Rue's Romantic Tour" He was awesome and
so was his boss for allowing him to do something different with us. Thank you - It truly was a trip to remember.

Absolutely stunning hotel - extremely comfortable and staff were exceptional. I would take one star off for a service which was provided for us. One thing negative it was the price of the laundry service - We received it back and it was still too damp to pack and compared to all other locations their prices were at least 3-4 times higher. That left a bad taste.

Noga did an amazing job organizing our trip to Iceland. She captured all of our goals and budget and created the perfect trip and schedule for us.
We wanted to visit several waterfalls, mineral springs/lagoons, an ice cave, and snorkel at the Silfra Fissure. We also wanted to only drive 2-3 hours a day and wanted to see the Northern Lights.
The itinerary Noga created was perfect!
She and the staff at Kimkim were always available to us in times of need.
The app that presented our custom itinerary with links to Google Maps and tickets for activities and hotels was amazing. It made logistics so simple!
We highly recommend Kimkim and Noga for trips to Iceland!

I really liked the Skuggi Hotel by Keahotels in Reykjavik. The location was great, very close to many things to walk to. One of the standout points for us was the early check-in they provided after our overnight flight, which was incredibly helpful. They also offered us access to their breakfast, which was very much appreciated as we were exhausted and hungry upon arrival. It was a very welcoming experience, and having breakfast and a nap truly helped us recharge for the rest of our day.

Húsafell Canyon Baths Experience

The Hike to Húsafell Canyon Baths was a disappointment for us. It was advertised as a hike into a thermal pool, but in reality, the hike felt like just going down a dirt path with some steps. The pool itself was nice, but compared to other pools we've been to, it was underwhelming. It's not something we would have chosen to do had we known what it was.

The Glacier Ice Cave Experience was very memorable. The guide took us to a few special spots, including filming locations for Game of Thrones, adding an interesting and unique layer to an already incredible excursion. It was well done and a must-see when in Iceland.

The Silfra Snorkeling Adventure was the highlight of our trip! It's definitely not for everybody, but it was a very unique experience that's worth doing. The location and the whole experience were nothing short of spectacular and stood out as a memorable part of our Iceland trip.

In Cambodia our guide Savy was excellent and very knowledgeable about the temples and Cambodia itself.
Maya our tour guide in Chaiang Mai Thailand was very bubbly personalty and enjoyed every moment with her.
In Bangkok our tour guide Nene was very friendly and smiling loved the tour around Bangkok.
Overall the tour itself was absolutely brilliant.

Erica and Lea developed an amazing itinerary for us that gave us room to enjoy ourselves when we weren't on an fun and fascinating excursion. From Athens through the Cyclades islands of Mykonos, Naxos, Santorini to Crete, we enjoyed the weather, the food, the landscape and all of the historic ruins of archeaologic significance. The catamaran cruise from Crete was fantastic. The cruise with the Santorini Yacht Club i wouldn't recommend or do again. The crew wasn't friendly, the boat wasn't well taken care of and the food was awful.
Aside from this hiccup, we had a wonderful time. Sept-Oct is a great time to see Greece.

Aleksandra was wonderful and made our trip to London, Edinburgh and Dublin a wonderful experience. All of the details were planned in advance and the everything went flawlessly. I would highly recommend Aleksandra and KimKim to those that want to go on a trip but don’t want to go through the pain and hassle of planning and booking a trip

This was a terrific trip. Enough things to do with enough time to catch our breath. Eleanor did a good job making recommendations and ti ing our activities. Our guides, Hector, Irony, and kihora were first rate and each was both knowledgeable and thoughtful in customizing our time together. We especially loved our private Okebana lesson with Seanacey. Hotel recommendations were in good locations and comfortable.

All of the hotels were great, they were in great locations and the rooms were nice. They included breakfast were also very nice. All the transfers went smoothly except for the pickup at Athens airport the person who was supposed to pick us up canceled last minute and we had to take a taxi but it was reimbursed as well as was the cost of the original driver reimbursed. Like I said the rest of the transfers went smoothly. All the tours that we took were also great, the tour guides spoke English well and were entertaining and engaging and gave a lot of interesting information. I also thought it was great to experience the contrast between the city of Athens and the smaller cities of Heraklion and Chania on Crete. There was a mix-up with the biking tour on Chania, when we got there the bike shop said there were no tours scheduled. However, they did take us on the tour anyway and we ended up getting a private tour instead of a group tour but I'm not sure how the mix-up happened. The tour guide himself was wonderful and the 25 mile bike ride was amazing. We were very sad that the Samaria gorge hike had to be canceled due to thunderstorms and we did not have time to reschedule so that was a major bummer but nothing anyone could do about it. We also really enjoyed the food tour of Chania, our guide was really great and it was nice to meet the other two couples on the tour we all had a great day together. I loved the convenience of Kim Kim taking care of all the accommodations tours and transfers for me and would definitely recommend. Also both Erica and Lea were helpful and easy to contact.

Amazing e-bike tour, the bike itself was very cool, you could paddle without assistance or anywhere from level one to four assistance depending on how steep the hill was. Some of the hills were very steep and would not have been possible without the pedal assist but you still have to pedal the whole time so I still felt like I was riding a bike not a motorcycle or anything but it definitely made the impossible possible with those steep hills. Our guide was fantastic, he always lived in the area and knew everything about the area. He took us to his own personal Olive Grove and taught us a lot about Olive oil production. We saw so many great things, it was a really wonderful tour

My moms birthday trip was beyond what we expected. My mom wanted to travels to the Azores to experience where her grandparents had come from and Giorgia played a big role in creating a fabulous trip. She listened to all of the wants and needs for the trip and found the best tour guides on Sao Miguel...EVER!! Natacha and Vauchon were both with us for three days. The made the five of us traveling feel like part of their family and showed us all the amazing parts of Sao Miguel. We also did a walking food tour with a company called Hungry Whales and it was the right amount of sampling food and walking. The guides were very organized. The second island of Terceira we experienced a lovely town and beautiful winery. I can't wait to go back.

Our 8-day trip to Switzerland was awesome. Through their local travel partner, the kimkim team pulled together a great itinerary that hit many of the must-see spots in the country (and in Switzerland, it's hard to go wrong because every site / sight is postcard worthy). Their very detailed itinerary worked perfectly, and allowed us to be in charge of our destiny every day...we really liked that. In addition to specific planned activities, kimkim provided suggestions for a range of other activities and restaurants in each destination...really helpful.

With one exception, the hotels they selected were terrific, especially the more authentic ones in Grindelwald (Romantik Hotel Schweizerhof) and Zeramatt (Hotel Alpenhof). That said, our first hotel in Zurich was terrible...far from the 5-star we requested (we'll take some of the hit on this hotel because prior to travel we didn't dive into guest reviews...if we had we would have said something).

The highlight of the tour was a 6-hour E-bike tour with a group called Flying Wheels in Interlaken. The bikes were top notch, the route we rode was stunningly beautiful, and our guide George (so much fun and so knowledgeable about Switzerland) was the very best. The other star of the show was our 8-day Swiss Rail Pass...we had unlimited use of the country's outstanding rail system that is the best we've ever experienced.

Even though our trip went off without a hitch, here's a small suggestion...it might be nice for the local tour operator to check in on their guests mid-trip. We had a 24-hour emergency contact number and never felt exposed but that human touch is always good.

Our trip to Scotland to drive the North Coast 500 was a journey filled with stunning landscapes, quaint villages, ancient castles, historic landmarks, pubs, distilleries, friendly people and terrific accommodations.

I took a fair amount of time working with Yassine, then Louis, to put together a first visit to Morocco that captured all I wanted to see and appreciated their input in offering ideas, suggestions or modifications to help arrive at what I felt was the trip I wanted to take.

I saw the highlights of Casa Blanca, Rabat, Chefchaouen, Fes, the Sahara, Marrakesh and Essaouira. The guides I was paired with were wonderful - Zahra in Fes, Mohammed in Marrakesh and guides used to explain things like the ceramics and leather in Fes, the rug making process, and about argon. During down time, I wondered around the medinas near my riads and felt totally safe.

I went to Morocco solo and was assigned a driver for my trip, Said, who took good care of me. I could not have asked for a better driver who saw to it that I was where I needed to be on time, spoke fluent English, and enjoyed sharing information and answering questions, along with providing some additional suggestions or ideas for stops along the way. Said helped make my trip, that covered a lot of country and time on the road to see what I wanted to see, a huge success. My trip could have been very different depending on the personality of my driver, since I had so much time with the driver. Said was the best, he definately made the trip what it was, and our time on the road flew by. I'm very thankful to have had him as my driver.

I have used kimkim twice now and been very happy with the results. Kimkim takes time and effort to help create a trip catered to me and my interests.

We had a wonderful visit to Portugal and a great experience planning our trip with Joao from Kimkim. I have to commend Rui for going above and beyond by spending more time than planned in providing us our visits between Lisbon and Porto, knowing he still had to drive back later from Porto than expected. He was so kind to care more about us than himself.
We also had a wonderful trip to the Duoro valley with Ricardo. Ricardo also went out of his way by stopping at a couple points of interest we missed in Porto due to the bad weather one of our nights there. Both he and Rui shared a lot of history with us and also chatted about all kinds of topics. So pleasant to be in their company.
Sandra our Tuk Tuk driver was also a lot of fun. And Pedro in Porto was a wealth of historical knowledge. Nuno also provided a nice day with a hike and lunch in Serra da Estrella. Our othertour guides in Lisbon, Evora and Lagos were also very nice and informative but I unfortunately do not remember their names.
All of our accomodations were very nice and everyone who met with us were prompt and pleasant people.
Joao checked in on us daily and responded to us promptly from the very beginning of planning our trip to even after we arrived back home to the US. Our trip felt very personal even when we were in very busy areas that many other tourists go. This helped to reduce a lot of stress.
I would definitely use Kimkim travel specialists again. They even included a few surprise treats along the way.

The staff here were very polite and pleasant. The art deco decor made for nice and peaceful surroundings, taking you back in time. I want to also give extra kudos to the gentleman from Brazil ( whose name eludes me- perhaps Joseph ) who made us espresso martinis and made us feel very welcome.

Seamless Discovery - The Ultimate Douro Valley Experience with Private Driver Service

We enjoyed our experience int he Douro Valley with a winery tour and lunch followed by a private boat ride on the river. The Pachega winery was a very nice place and scenic location. They shared with us some lovely wines during our tasting. Our driver took us to beautiful look outs too along the way.

We had many amazing private tours on our trip, but I wanted to review this one because our driver Rui went above and beyond in providing us the chance to include Tomar on our way from Lisbon to Porto. This took a lot of extra time, and never once did he seem perturbed to have exceeded our 5 hour trip. He also suggested a restaurant in Tomar that was like being in the Taverna's of old. The Convent of Christ's church was beautiful. Amazing to imagine how it was built so long ago.
