Highly recommend the Laranjais. It’s a quiet boutique hotel with apartments in a quiet part of the old city of Porto. The rooms are spacious and very comfortable. It’s in 2 old buildings across the street from each other. They are tastefully renovated. Although the hotel does not have a fitness center, they provide yoga mats in each apartment, and there’s plenty of space for exercising. The views out the French windows are charming. Excellent restaurants are just steps away. Breakfast is vegan (which is not required for us, but we appreciate sustainability).

The hotel is comfortable but generic. It lacks charm. Also, the bathroom is not ergonomic. The door, sink, and toilet are too close to each other. It’s also a bit outside the old part of town. Next time, we’ll try to find a more interesting place to stay — perhaps in one of the old neighborhoods.

Highly recommend! The beach at Portinho da Arrábida is beautiful. The tour guide is energetic and fun. We loved kayaking, snorkling, cliff jumping (optional, not that high, not so scary), and caving. We also were treated to a simple homemade lunch on the beach afterwards. Plus, we had a chance to swim in the ocean. The sea was calm, and the water was cool and refreshing. The beach was huge and not crowded.

The Guided Azulejos Walk was too focused on tiles for my taste. While the guide was knowledgeable and took us to interesting places like a guitar shop, the tour was overwhelmingly about tiles. I would have preferred learning more about the city's history, landmarks, and cultural spots, rather than such a specific focus.

The Douro Valley Day Trip was lovely, especially the wine tastings at two different vineyards. It was very hot that day, making the river cruise feel like hot air was being blown in our faces, but the beautiful scenery and welcoming people at the vineyards made up for it. Overall, it was a very enjoyable day.

The Sintra Day Trip was interesting, although very crowded at the palace. We loved the little town and found beautiful paths through the woods, but didn't have enough time to explore them fully. I wish the guide had given us more information about what to do and see in Sintra, as we missed out on some great spots. Nonetheless, it was worth seeing and enjoyable.

Nice location at the heart of Ginza; friendly stuff. Rooms are small yet clean. Public baths with hot water is a plus. Minute walk from Higashi Ginza station and 7/11, which is very convenient.

Nice hotel overall but location is a bit off the center, unlike the hotel in Tokyo.

Perfect location in the heart of Osaka, few minutes walk to iconic Dotonbori, close to everything.

Very nice trip; unfortunately the foggy weather did not allow to see Mt Fuji in all of its beauty. Cable car ride to the top was a huge relief - a breath of fresh cool air comparing to hot and humid weather down there. I would not say that TK (guide) storytelling style was extremely fascinating but still he provided with adequate information and overall he kept the the tour at just right pace. I must admit I did not like much the canteen-style lunch experience, and food quality was just okay. The performance of traditional Japanese drummers did brighten up the things though.

Very interesting tour; Jun is knowledgeable and engaging; it is a big advantage to have a private guide so we learned many things through easy and laid-back conversations. The visited shrines and temples are amazing. However, heat was excruciating, and hopping between buses, trains, and walks contributed to our exhaustion and took away from otherwise wonderful experience.

Don't offer this to clients. More than 20 guests despite being a small group tour (supposed to be less than 20 guests). Staff are rude. Very strict rules once onboard. No getting onto the boat wet after swimming, can't wear sunscreen, can't use the onboard bathrooms, can't have a towel, can't sit down inside the covered areas of boat, BBQ food was dry & overcooked. Stopped at swimming areas for very very short amount of time so there wasn't enough time for all on board to get in and out again.

Got to experience some cool restaurants and food. One stop was a hotdog. Could of had something else there since thats so easy to get . Other than that our guide was great and food was delicious.

Great hike with amazing scenery. wasnt really a cave tour. More of a glacier hike. We went in a tunnel of ice for like 5 seconds. Still great to see.

This hotel was the best of our trip. It was cute, perfectly located, nestled in a courtyard off the street, and the staff was wonderful.

The hotel was nice enough, but it would have been better to be closer in to town, and this one was probably our least favorite because the beds were hard.

I wish we could have spent more time here to take advantage of all the amenities. The hotel was adorable & our room was quite large (& not just because it had 3 beds). The restaurant was excellent, which was nice because we got in so late.

This might have been our least favorite hotel. The bathrooms were inconveniently laid out & the bathroom door was wobbly & loud. The vibe wasn't as nice as the other, more modern, hotels, and the food at the restaurant was just mediocre. Check-in & check-out took so much longer than everywhere else & the staff wasn't particularly friendly.

A great hotel. Great food, felt luxurious (our room was huge, but my daughter's not so much). The location was perfect -- right on the lake, but with parking. The staff was helpful, and the breakfast was terrific. My only complaint was that, for a luxury hotel, they missed on a few details: the cosmetics mirror was broken in our room, as was the toilet paper holder (which meant the paper kept falling off onto the floor).

The kids (young adults) loved this activity & were fascinated. Our host was excellent & informative & we learned a lot about bees & beekeeping from her. The honey-tasting was fun and educational as well. My one complaint was that there wasn't enough time scheduled for this event. While it only took one hour for the tour & discussion, we were supposed to arrive early for our next activity at 11 & that meant that we didn't have enough time for the honey-tasting or to try anything at the honey cafe. This event shouldn't be scheduled so close to another timed event, as most people would need at least 90 minutes at the beekeeper's shop and possibly close to 2 hours.

This was a fantastic, rigorous hike. Our guide, Luka, was knowledgeable about the whole area & taught us a lot (& he was pretty easy on the eyes too!). It was nice having him to guide us, as selecting the path could get a bit confusing. As athletic as he was, he was also good at adjusting his pace to ours. I'm glad we summitted by one route & came down by another. The view from the top was amazing. The mountain hut was also perfectly placed for a good -- and seemingly authentic -- snack on the way down. I'm also glad we started early because, even though rain didn't turn out to be an issue, that left us sufficient time to explore more of Bled in the afternoon.

This was a terrific experience & the kids loved it. People should be warned that one not only needs to be fit for the experience, but REALLY fit (although I managed at age 66). I might have preferred to start this activity somewhat earlier in the day because, with a 4:30 pm start, it got a little chilly -- & rushed -- toward the end. One of the guides was great (Peter?) -- kind, encouraging, & sweet -- but the other was a little pushy & negative with the members of the group, who were a bit more cautious (all women). He kept complaining that the group was too large, but that wasn't our fault.

This activity was wonderful. It was exciting & just generally delightful. We all loved most of our guides -- Martin, Joseph, & Mimi (not so much Robert) -- & they were determined to make the experience fun. I will admit that I had trouble getting off the ground & my tandem guide (Robert) got pretty snappy about the way I kept falling & screwing up our launch. Fortunately, Mimi (the driver) insisted that there was no quitting in paragliding & she gave me some encouragement & feedback that, ultimately, helped me get airborne with Robert on our 5th try. We also learned a lot from all the guides -- about paragliding, about Slovenia & Slovenian history, & about the impact of climate change on paragliding.

Plitvice is one of the most beautiful places on Earth, & we loved the hike. We were delighted with the K Hike because a significant portion of the trail took us away from the crowds (which were the only downside to Plitvice). We really enjoyed hiking with Tara, although it was clear that she was a knowledgeable guide & a sweet young women, but not a great or experienced hiker. She struggled with the uphill portion of the K hike. But she pushed through, which was impressive.

Hotel location is perfect. It is in a quiet neighborhood with many pub, restaurant and street food options. It is also very walkable to a couple of subway stations so if there is limited time available and / or no desire to walk, there are options. But also very walkable to almost all tourist items most of us have on our lists. Most important, the staff here are extremely friendly and helpful. The restaurant at the hotel serves very good food as well as breakfast. And if weather permits, the rooftop bar / restaurant is fun and provides excellent views of the city. We will be return guests to this hotel on future trips involving time in London.

We stayed at this exquisite hotel / guest house. We do not have a "rich uncle" but if we did, this felt like staying at our "rich uncles" house. It is a small , exquisite lake guest house where it feels like being in a house as all the common rooms are inviting and you want spend time in them when not out exploring as the views are stunning and the other guests interesting to meet and visit. We cannot say enough about the staff. Almost immediately they knew us by name and asked about our day, made recommendations, ensured we had everything we needed, assisted with transportation, you name it they did it. Perfect hosts!

A bit run down, but easy access to some wonderful sights. Wishing it was easier to rent bicycles there.

It was busy. The staff was the most rude here. Theye put us in a back facing room that stank of Chinese food from the restaurant behind us. Also there was construction going on and the tube for the debris ran next to our room so every 15 minutes there was a loud rumbling right past our window and a crash of glass and bottles into a dumpster. I asked to move and the young assistant gave me a hard time, but eventually gave us a better room and it made a difference.

Some inexperienced paddlers and younger childre limited how far we could go, however it was still a nice experience.

Wellput together overall. The Scandic chain was very nice and accomodating overall.

The room was big and the beds very comfortable. Loved the pool and swim up bar.

Pachira Lodge has their own boardwalk through the jungle where you will see monkeys, sloths and poison frogs! Three meals are served here and there is good variety and it all tastes delicious. We sat at each meal with another family to fill our table and it was fun getting to know them. Eco lodges do not have air conditioning but the overhead fan cools the room down at night where you will use a blanket.

The glass walls made for a fabulous view of the volcano.

Turtles, Turtles, Turtles. And monkeys, sloths, frogs and colorful birds. I need to go back. Soon!

We really loved this farm stay in an authentic coffee plantation. The family was very gracious, kind and hospitable; and Don Fernando is obviously passionate about orchids, birds, bonsais, and everything else. His wife Marisa is such an elegant and lovely lady. This multi generational family have been here for over 140 years. We enjoyed spending time watching the birds in their big garden, surrounded by nature and rolling hills of coffee and cacao trees.

Food/breafast offerings were mediocre

We didn't have enough time at the event. We had to rush through the exhibits and didn't have time to see the many stands in various areas.

The local guide was excellent and very knowlegable

Too touristy, we mainly just went to a few stores and visited a herbal pharmacy We didn't need two guides. I guess it is because the local one did not speak English Wished we could have visited the community's village instead of the town.

We didn't enjoy the visit to the particular "farm". The owner sounded like he's done this millions of times, he appeared really fake. It was a shame that we didn't see any other farms or where flowers are grown. Also, why did we need a guide when we had the owner of the farm giving us the tour?

The Botanic Garden is disappointing for visitors who have been to other gardens. The biologist is not very good. Also, why did we need a guide when the biologist was assigned to give us the tour?

Amazing place. I'm very happy that I requested this visit Local guide is very experienced and is obviously passionate about everything to do with orchids and the place he works at. Bonus was that the owner came out to chat with us. We didn't need the tour guide assigned. The guide at La Ceja was much better.

We didn't realize that we would spend so much time at the Lagoon. Place felt very touristy.

This hotel was in a great centralized location so it was easy to get to anywhere. However, after dark, the area felt a little unsafe. We did not really stay out late at night while staying there. There was a lot of street noise at night as it is in a very populated area so sleep on our first night was hard. That was solved when we played white noise on our phones. The staff was wonderful and the breakfast was amazing! I really enjoyed a quiet breakfast by myself in the morning.

Begur is such a charming town and Alta House Begur just added to the town's charm. The staff was wonderful. The views were amazing, especially on the rooftop. The breakfast felt like such a retreat each morning as I sat in the garden by the pool, surrounded by the beautiful mountain views. Alta House is a beautiful place to rest and experience a retreat from the world.

Caterina was wonderful. Her passion for the beauty of the city really came through and really helped us to appreciate everything that we saw. She was very accommodating to us as we had our sons with us. They were getting tired near the end. She recommended a great local place for tapas and even walked us there.

Carla is the perfect guide for this - each place she picked was different in the food, atmosphere, and personality. We really enjoyed learning from her about the food, the places, and just her love for Barcelona. It was also the perfect first activity to do on our first day to give us a sense of the city.

The tour of the Boqueria Market was very brief and it was difficult to hear with all the noise. We did not really spend much time at the stands and couldn't really purchase anything. However, I think it was because we needed to make it back in time for the cooking class which was awesome. Our chef/teacher (Janella) was great-she was funny, clear with her instructions, and her excitement for the food and cooking was infectious. We loved everything we cooked.

This was by far our family's favorite activity of all the ones we did during our stay in Spain. We did the 8-hour tour with Ola. The time amount was perfect for all the activities we did-kayak, snorkeling, and cliff-jumping. Ola was such a great guide from his clear, funny instructions to encouragements throughout the adventure that allowed us to feel comfortable to get out of our comfort zone, take some risks, and enjoy ourselves. He was exceptionally wonderful with our boys, who felt very comfortable and safe with him as he taught them how to cliff jump for the first time. I asked if we could do something small to celebrate my husband's birthday, which was the day of our trip with Ola. He took the time to get a special Catalan dessert so we could sing happy birthday to end our day. It was the perfect celebration. We cannot say enough great things about Mr. Ola and our time learning from him and enjoying the Mediterranean Sea. If you have the chance, definitely do this-an unforgettable fun day!

Beautiful hotel located at the base of a dormant volcano. Our room had a direct view to the volcano from the back porch. Moreover, the staff was extremely friendly and helpful, and the place has a heated pool with a jacuzzi for those that enjoy night swim. The food was good, but I recommend everyone to visit "La Fortuna" town, as they offer a vast variety of places to eat at a better price. Finally, the only thing we regret was not staying here longer!

Great location! This hotel is only minutes away from the "downtown" portion of town. Dylan and Ana were extremely helpful, professional and courteous! There was a day we had additional idle time, and they recommended us a "forest night walk", and even helped us set it up. The rooms were very comfortable, and clean and the only time we needed assistance, they responded in very short time.

We only stayed one night, but the rooms had ample space, were comfortable and clean. Breakfast service was good, with plenty of options and the staff was friendly as it was professional.

Hotel is located about 10 minutes away from the beach. Rooms were comfortable and clean, and the hotel has a nice pool at a very convenient spot. The hospitality staff was very helpful, and extremely hard working as they seemed to do a bit of everything.

First time doing this!! Our whole family enjoyed it! The staff was extremely helpful, especially since it can be a bit of intimidating at the beginning.

What made this tour different was out guide, otherwise it would've been just a normal hike. Sergio provided us with a historical background of the park and the composition of the forest as we walked through. He had vast knowledge of the area's flora and fauna, and even provided us interesting details of Costa Rica's drive to protect their natural resources. He definitely connected with us!

The farm has a gorgeous panoramic view. It was a peaceful tour, as our guides only helped us control our horses. Maybe I was expecting some information or any background conversation, but I wouldn't want that to take away from how great the experience was.

Our guide Dio was great! Very knowledgeable and attentive. We were able to see wild sloths, various bird species, reptiles and mammals.

We loved this tour!! Diego (son of the owner) was extremely attentive to our group. He took his time to answer every question we all had, as he showed us his farm. We loved the ending with freshly made coffee, chocolate and light snacks. 100% recommend this for coffee and chocolate lovers.

If you want to have fun while exercising, i definitely recommend you this tour. The guides take you to a tour to a nearby island full of crabs, and where you can occasionally see wild iguanas. The snorkeling experience was OK, since the water current lifted some sediments from the bottom, and we were not able to see many fishes. It still was a worthwhile fin experience.

Beautiful and quiet and green property. Absolutely warm, kind, smiling, friendly and thoughtful service. I had a fantastic massage there too. Don't think further, just stay here.

We liked the location of this hotel and it served us well for the sites we wanted to see. Was a nice, clear, and a good breakfast. The staff was very helpful. It is right off the train line but we wound up walking most of the time.

The hotel is really nice and in a great location and our room overlooked the water. But we just ran into an issue that impacted our sleep. Could not get the AC to work, so we opened the windows. But then we had to deal with loud late night partiers along the water and the smell of cigarette/cigar drifting up and into the room. They tried to help resolve and move us but nothing was available.

This was our splurge and we really enjoyed everything about it. The rooms, the grounds, our fine dinning.

This was very nice location for visiting Killarney national park and the rooms were really nice.

Hotel was fine, nothing remarkable but it was just a transit stay for us on the way to Dublin and so it served that purpose well.

The teas and sandwiches were really good. The staff also helped us a lot of the tea selection as well as the preferred order to eat the different sandwiches and desserts. Of course the setting in the Castle only adds to the experience.

Kate is a really fun teacher. The experience is in the kitchen of her house so nice and intimate. We had a lot of fun and really like the different scones and breads. We each chose slightly different versions to make.

Was not really sure what to expect from this, but we signed up to do the Falconry tour. Our tour guide Conner was incredible and amazing to see how he controls the falcons on the tour and help us send and receive the falcons. Plus it was really nice to see how the overall operation was run and the dedication to it.

Really like the Jameson part of the tour. It was a small group with very interesting guides and we learned a lot. The Guinness tour is very popular in a huge building with a lot to see and a lot to do, to the point it was a little overwhelming. Though the view of Dublin from the observation level was really great, particularly while working on your pint.

We really enjoyed the dinner, the singing, and the dancing. Very intimate setting and a great experience.

Something seemed a bit off that day. There was some general issue going on and the staff were a little distracted. The sandwiches served were different than the menu which cause an issue due to food allergies. We caught it and explained to them, while they did not seem to be aware of the issue, they made some accommodations . I think it was just an off day. The grounds were very beautiful to walk around.

Really fascinating to learn how the crystal pieces were made and was interesting to see work being done up close. The gift shop is a bit tempting, and we wound up making a few purchases while there :-)

This was a great experience. Our guides Hester and William did a really good job of taking through interesting places on the lake while also providing a lot of history and information. Doing the short live cave runs was also fun. It was a great way to see the national park.

The views of the Cliffs are really amazing to see in person. Eleanor did a really nice job of pacing the walk and taking breaks to share interesting facts and stories. She also did a good job of keeping us safe and proper guidance on where to go and not to go.
